Just because blu-ray has lots of space doesn't mean R* will use all of it.

Hydra's engines/landing gear/flares/missles aren't showed or are in default position when using replay feature. Also, no damage/smoke/fire are included in replay feature. I hope they'll improve this feature in next GTA.

Here's the thread. You should've browsed the forums a bit.

Original GTA Master's Stunt Videos
Slayer replied to Harwood Butcher's topic in GTAVC Gameplay & Help
First get a required program. I'd suggest you to use Fraps 1.9d since it's the easiest to use and it's free. 2.x.x versions are shareware and have a watermark and 30 seconds recording limit. You can get Fraps 1.9d from gta-downloads. Install it and run it. Configure key(s) for recording. Then run whatever game you want to record from. Lower the resolution to 640x480. Then you can record/stop recoding by pressing the record key (default F9, I think) I'd suggest you to use the replay feature (F1) rather than recoding in real time because you can get a better camera angle in replay and concentrate more on the stunt in real time. But you'll have to use the GXT tool to remove the REPLAY text first. -

Now I'm just asking about the title. You've said that the title was meant to be "Solitary" but it got changed to "Revault". How's that happened? He he, re-vault sounds like reverse vault

Yes, kinda. And I won't take any credits for that. I've just given an example.

Speaking of aiming while preforming a drive-by, it should have something like in Mafia. You could aim a hand gun if you're the driver or a tommy gun if someone else drives the car. GTA has lots of things to learn from Mafia.

Oh, thank you very much. When I came here the whole 1st page of The Longue had new posts so I didn't bother to read them all. You're the one that does roll on the last scene, right? It was a decent trailer but I'll wait for the full video to comment.

Sure, I agree it's a good practice. But I don't practice in front of a camera. When you record you kinda show off your skills, so it's important to know the drill before capturing it.

What Kind of Map Layout for next GTA
Slayer replied to gtajunkie's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
You dudes ever heard of quoting a post? See, if you don't quote a post, the reply you post is about the previous post. So if you want to comment a reply that was made 3 posts before you, you should quote it. I don't think that we'll see anything else than huge pieces of land connected together in an island. What I hope to see are small, tiny islands to explore accesible only by a boat (or a chopper if it's a bit bigger). I got tired of driving cars, cars and only cars all over any previous GTAs' map. Now I want to see a better use of boats and planes that can land on water (like Skimmer). There was ony one tiny island near SF, and it was related to a mission. So, much more islands. -
No. Irl he'll die after one shot if it hits his vital organs. Back on topic: Physics like in Half Life 2, car details like in NFS:MW, water from Half Life 2 or Star Wars: Empire at War, vehicle collisions from Mafia, combat from Soldier fo Fortune II, and other things just have to be better than SA. Maybe they should do to GTA4 something they did to Max Payne 2, and that would mean revolutionary graphics in that genre.

I dunno about you, but when I'm making a vid everybody is a camera man. I don't acually bother making it perfect. I never record a run more than 3 times. It's kinda more realistic that way. If I can't get it right at that point, I let it go. I'll get it next time. More important to me is to have a decent run from the first try than to do it 20 times to get the perfect camera angle and be 0.1 seconds faster than the last time. Although I'd like to make a well-edited Parkour video, but that would take time and I'd probably have to make a solo vid and get a camera man. So far I've only used my editing skills when making stunt vids. When making Parkour vids I've just trimed the clips, place them in the timeline to match the audio and get a good song for the vid. I'm making a new stunt vid atm. It'll include both stunts that I've submitted for the community vid and new ones. I've used Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 this time so I've spent much less time to edit it than I'd if I've used Ulead Video Studio 9.0. Now I have to wait until I get Adobe After Effects 7.0. I've downloaded the trial (1.2 GB ) three times already but every time the .zip archive was damaged. I suspect that the file on Adobe's server is damaged since not even download managers helped. And I couldn't find a mirror to the file. I'll install the older (6.0) version I have on a CD and see how will it work.

I'd like to start the game on the top, play a few mission, and lose it all. Then start as you did in every previous GTA. I just like when you begin in a dark alley, with no money or weapons and with serious wounds. And then you have to get out of there alive and climb to the top again...blah, blah, you know it Just playing the game on the top all the time wouldn't make it as interest as the old way would, imo. There aren't much things to do when you have everything right from the start.
-
I've always hoped to see something like that, but it doens't have much point on PC. It is much easier for me to play music in winamp while playing any game, not just GTA.
-
In that case it would be the best not to do anything because nobody is going to accept artifacted clips.

I just got back. I've been to other city in Croatia (you wouldn't know which one) and I've had no internet for 10 days. So I'm quite happy now. I thought that maybe when I return home there'll be no internet anymore, that it had collapsed while I was on a vacation (I'm still on summer holidays). Haven't had school for a month now and won't for another 1,5 months. Good thing I've meet some other traceurs there so we practiced every day and I've learnt a few new things.

You can record it with a camera but the quality is sick in a bad way.
