I don't. Of course they've started making it much earlier, but they've announced it later than they did LCS, so I think that they've taken less time to make VCS than to make LCS. But that's just me, so live with it.

He he, hold on! You've gotta make 9.4 GB of code.

Putting mods on comouter and what programs needed

Modifying games for consoles is possible if you have the right utility to copy the content of your PS2 disk onto your HDD, mod it, and then burn the modded compilation to a new disk. -
I've made these a long time ago to show you the right plane approach. If you've got a broadband it shouldn't be a problem to download. If you have a slow connection, just get as high as you can and then, when the Shamal passes behind you, just turn and rush down. Height will give you enough speed. Height is the key!

Unless you didn't know, all those "improved physics" are just eye-candys. They don't provide any real phisycs. That card just adds more effects to the game, but they don't influence the gameplay. Example: A grenade explodes and deals 100HP damage to all units in an area. Without PhysX card, you just see a normal, "classical explosion". With that card, you'll see a grenade exploding and lots of clusters appearing, smoke, bigger explosions, objects tearing appart... However, that's all that card does. It doesn't calculate the speed, weight, or damage caused by every cluster. Those clusters won't damage nearby objects, they'll just dissapear when they make a contact with an obstacle (or dissapear in the air). Still, this looks good, but the card costs about 250$, and as an alternative you can use Havok FX engine (software renderer) that is free for all nVidia users with new graphics cards. So I think it would be better to buy another graphics card and put them together into SLI, where one GPU makes physics caluculations and another renders picture. If a game doesn't support Havok FX, then you can run a game with better quality. Software wins among hardware!

Tool for modding the game would be: - IMG tool 2.0 - GXT editor - txd workshop 3.5 - audio editor All avaliable from main site's download database. Note: most mods will just require IMG tool. I've out these other tools because they are sometimes (read: rarely) needed for some particular mods. -
It's simple to put custom sountrack in VC. Yous put them in the right folder. The extension must be .wav or .mp3 .wav doesn't need a codec and you get MPEG audio layer III codec along with windows, so it should all work out fine unless you've screwed up something with codecs. When you do all this, a new radio station "mp3 player" should appear in VC.

You do realise that you gave the wrong link? And how big the file is? I gotta take care of my traffic.

I'm not sure what you're specificaly talking about, but GTA and GTA2 were in 3D. That way you could preform insane jumps with vehicles and climb objects (stairs, etc.). Another proof is that you could see the whole building if it was on the edge of the screen. Unfortunately, you couldn't switch between camera angles, so that gave the game "2D feeling". btw. JD, download GTA2 and GTA (or also WMC) from R* web site. Those are really good games (GTA2 especially) and even if you don't like them, al least you'll see what GTA was "before".

I had the same irritating problem. I think it's the no-splash (screen) mod causing it, it started when I used it, and reinstall didn't help. Do you have the same mod?
-
Hm, I don't know about it...5 months is just too short to make a good game.
-
I thought that R* will release VCS. Now it's just been confirmed. No suprise for me, really, and I'm not interested in it because I haven't got a PSP.
-
So why didn't you vote for her?

It's 11 years, actually. The war lasted form 1991.-1995. Anyway, make sure that you tell me if you're coming to Zagreb.

Listen to my advice read t3h post dates!

See, the problem is that I can't install it. If I select full install, I recieve CRC error. However, if I install it (minimum install) the game starts and I get into the main menu, but then it always freezes and I have to reset my computer. Nvm, at that time I was desperate because I haven't had any new gmes to play but now I've got some new and don't want to install VC anymore.

I really hope to see a new engine. GTA3 engine was outrageous even for SA, so it was really about time for a new engine. *wants to see 3D car damage*
-
Erm, JD, some people don't have 1GB RAM, and they don't need it. The minimum amount of RAM required for VC is 128MB and 256MB recomended. The CPU is ok, but I don't know about that graphics controller. What I recommend you to do is to look through the readme file and perhaps find what's the problem. And get newest drivers for your hardware, and use the 1.1 VC patch. However, if you want VC sooooooooo much, try formating the HDD.

If you're asking for a summer holiday, I can't compare it with any other country because I've always spent a summer here. I have a house by the seaside that's about 350km away from Zagreb (that's about 3 hours if you take highway), so basically, there's no reason to go somewhere else, and it's much cheaper if you don't have to hire a room. If you ask about my experience, it's great if you can stay longer. The weather is ussually sunny and hot (except last year, 2005. sucked ass, it rained half of the holiday), the water is clean and warm, etc. etc. I like it, but as I said, I really can't compare it with a summer holiday in any other country. Maybe wheelman can tell you more about his experience.

I like Soldier of Fortune series, Max Payne series, and Hitman: Contracts, although Hitman is more of a sneaking-type game. It's much more fun to complete the whole game with "Silent Assasin" rank than completing it with "Mass Murderer".
-
He he, when are you coming to Croatia?
-
Well you can put in your own music if you don't like default radio stations.
-
Maye if you used script mods, the downloaded saves won't work because they're based on another script file.
-
As a matter of fact, I think I saw something like that somewhere, but I really don't remember where. Maybe somebody else will know more.

Try this site. Probably the biggest GTA mod database. http://www.gta-downloads.com/
