lol, that's enough for me too. Guess there's also a lot of good talk on here, lots of nice/knowledgeable members, moderating isn't too rough, nor too weak, etc.

The 9800GT is not mid-range. It's better than the 8600GT, which is the reccomended requirement and will run the game fine at medium settings. The 9800GT is about equivalent to my graphics card, an ATi 3850, which runs the game absolutely fine. The fact that he has 1gb of video memory is an added bonus. Well, it really qualifies as mid-range for new cards, because there are many worse cards, (e.g. ATI Radeon 3450, NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT, etc.) and there are many better cards. (e.g., NVIDIA GTX-Series, NVIDIA 9800GTX, ATI 4 Series)

haha, i used to have this dell:P: remember the logo for longerrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! mwhahahahaha lol LOL, that's what half the PC's in my school are. I believe they had a 2.8GHz Pentium 4. Now they replaced half of them with a newer version with a 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo. Pretty much nothin' On them, but IE6, and Word.. Wicked fast. If I think that's fast, can't wait to use my new PC.

Not quite my type of game, but it looks like it'd be really good for anyone who would like that type of gameplay.

I know, and I don't know why. I haven't even been able to find a good replacement for a 2.5" 5400 RPM Drive. Just a bunch of 10k rpm 120GB drives for like $300. Yeah, no.

Try this: Also try running in XP Compatibility mode if you're on Vista, or take your OS's Resolution and either downgrade to 16bit Color, or 640x480 Check the disc for scratches, then re-install again if all else fails. Have you even tried to reboot yet?

Hopefully if they do make another one on the same engine. Its a remake of Vice or similiar city. I like the setting of the palm trees and sun better then the grundy metro city. I dont think Rockstar will recreate San Andreas its too huge. It like the size of 4 liberty cities. That would be alot work. Which is why it would be perfect. A Single BD Disc holds 50GB, so if they went with that method, it could come on 2 BDs, install 50 to the HDD, keep 50 on the BD. The PS4 will likely have a much bigger HDD. I've heard it may be a 750GB 10,000 RPM SCSI HDD. Awesome.

не все российские. Просто алфавита кириллицы, который был фактически изобретен в Македонии Meh, looked like Russian. Ahh, what he hell do I know? Quelqu'un ici parle-t-il le français? -
That's almost the same as mine, but with a better CPU and 1/4 the size of an HDD.

Try and see if it works on a different resolution.

Did you clear the BIOS before putting it in a PC made of all different parts? Older mobos may not have automatic settings. What brand of mobo do you have, and does it make a beeping noise when you turn it on? If so, what is the pattern?

Everything is not bad, but your video card is going to let you down. You wont beable to play GTA 4 with that video card properly or at all. Get a HD 3870 512MB or higher. Lets say I have 512 MB will it work on highest settings? The Technology for running it on MAX for everything hasn't been invented yet. With 512, and the other specs you listed above, it won't even run medium very well. The Processor barely even meets the minimum requirement. ok, thanks, my GTA IV dont run too good, and i dont understand why: Intel Xeon quad 2.8 GHz 6 GB RAM 1GB Geforce 9800GT Your video card is not adequate. its a shame isn't it? I dont know much about Nvidia but the 9800 only has 100 stream processors. That is not good from my understanding. But beats my hd 3450 with only 32 stream processors. You probablyu could do well playing on 800 x 600 monitor resolution with everything on medium high settings. But if you want higher resolution your probably going to have to buy something with more near 300 stream processors. For me I'm looking at getting a HD 3870 or if it goes well a HD 4870. As I dont know much of Nvidia, if you a fan of using of those cards so I can't recommend anything from that. Actually, I think you'll find that his graphics card is absolutely fine! It probably has more to do with the fact that he's running a processor not designed for gaming, however I don't know much more than that about the Xeon line of processors, so I can't say for sure. Though 1GB, the GPU is his weak link. I know very little about Xeon processors, so I'm not gonna say a lot, but the 9800GT is a mid-range card. Medium settings at best. A GTX 200 series with only 512MB would be a better card.

You all do not understand. 1.80 GHZ is the minimum. I have 1.86 GHZ. I only need a new graphics card or a downgrader patch to use less of the graphic card memory. Minimum Requirements: 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo. 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo = ~ 2.6GHz Pentium-D 1.86GHz Pentium D = UNABLE TO PLAY GTAIV This concept is similar to how the requirements call for a 2.4GHz AMD-Dual, and a 1.8GHz Core 2-D. The Core 2 is simply more efficient.

And not one of those 400 posts were spam. Be proud of yourself, this is great achievement, bobray59. Absolutely. All 400 posts were very important to this site, and it would have likely ceased to exist should I had not began posting.

AV: 5.2/10 Sig: 7.7/10 Person: Don't know a ton, but I'll go with 9.5

I would go GTX 260 Core 216. Cheaper, and as good as the 280. If you have the money, buy 2 and go SLI. JUST MAKE DAMN SURE THAT YOU HAVE GOOD COOLING.

It's supposed to remind you of this. Might be a cross of the two, as it says 600ci in the game for the PMP600, which is about the size of the Phantom. By the way, in case you don't know, 600ci is huge.

OK, I have a U.S. Robotics Win FaxModem 1803, and I want to be able to record phone calls with TRx from NCH. But, it says that my card is not voice capable. I've searched google, etc., and I can't find any drivers. Does anybody know of any drivers or firmware updates that would allow to use this device to record phone calls?
