Well I doubt the peds will start screaming to the cops that you have a gun once they see you. After all, in previous games gang members walked around with guns and as long as they didn't use them the cops wouldn't come after them. Plus guns are legal if you have a license down in the US so I'm pretty sure they'll react more scared when you actually aim the gun at them. Something they could say when they only see the gun could be: "Nice gun." or "Point that gun at me and I'll pull out mine." Lol, just some random ideas. R* will definitely have something better. Edit: Whoops, didn't see the second page here and I meant to reply to the last post on the first page. The one about peds reacting to guns and the one ps3 player replied to as well. Nice idea about the rough and business area ps3 player.

Yeah same, since I'm part Russian, the first time I heard his voice it sounded like a Russian accent but maybe not... Like Chrisman said, it would be very interesting and something brand new to learn about. Either way; Russian or Croatian I'll be happy.

Yeah, and that's really gonna help in the game, can't count how many times I've been stuck in previous games when there was a ladder right in front of me and I had to take the long way. Anyways, does anyone have any ideas/theories of how he's going to end up at the end of them game? All rich and powerful ruling the city or just like a neutral ending like in VCS? If he makes it to the top I hope he will be ruling with a couple of allies from other gangs and such. Not too many though, like there would be Niko's gang and some other one that he would have an alliance with. R* has had creative storylines in the past and I'm sure this one will be too.

Hah, I just noticed this just turned into one huge English Soccer League topic. I watch soccer/football every once in a while so I don't have a favourite team. Here's the sport teams I like: Football: New Orleans Saints (as you can see one of them is my userbars) Basketball: Hmm, I don't really know, I like players more than teams. Hockey: Vancouver Canucks (live here and they have a game right now, going into OT) I think that's it.

Heh, maybe. Well I love watching American football when the season is on, once in a while basketball (more so last year and more during the playoffs), same thing with hockey (like right now) and European Football/Soccer once in a while as well or during championships. After basketball and hockey playoffs finish I won't have any sports to watch... Maybe soccer though.

Totally agree with you there and it clearly shows that most of the other forums members agree as well. Looking at the poll with people 16 to 1 of people who think that Niko is the main character. R* wouldn't confuse us with a bunch of crap by making us wonder who the real protagonist is going to be. If so... I'll give 1000 forum points to Alistair. Not a bet or anything there, just saying I will.

Of course there will be street gangs and most probably some "gangsta" type ones as well. Since R* is taking quite a realistic approach to GTA IV and even though I do not live in NY (never have even been there) but I'm almost positive there's is some "gangsta" gangs. Sure they won't be a big part of the game but nevertheless it will be realistic and fun to beat the crap out of them for those who hate 'em. As for Niko's gang, a lot of forum members are agreeing that he's is most likely Croatian and if not Russian definitely. Either one, I'm excited as hell to find out about Croatians gangs or the Russian Mafia would be great as well. If he's not either of those, I'm still interested about new gangs as well.

Well you should be able to control yourself with this "cheat-usage" problem you have. It's not like you need to use them to survive (even though you have the option too). And another point is that when the game comes out and you get it; just don't look up any cheats and play the game fair. If you are a true GTA player you should play the missions fair and square. Edit: One MORE point is that you said "no cheats that help you in the game", well if there's not gonna be planes how would flying cars help you? I bet it would be much easier to just use a heli.

Heh, and looks cool: R* But anyways, I've almost positive that's it's going to be Niko, like everyone said that R* has been giving so much detail about him and stuff. Plus the fact that OGTAM pointed out that the writers of GameInformer had played as Niko and all the info about Niko being able to do something has had Niko is going to be able to use a cell phone, Niko will be able to change his outfits and lastly IMO: Niko is going to be the main character. Besides Roman just seems like a pussy due to the reasons everyone has already said.

Well I personally love cheats when I fool around. I even make a separate file on which I cheat on. If you don't want cheats in the game there's no difference if you ignore them and don't use them at all. They don't wreck the gaming experience if you don't use them and if you do while you still hate them what the hell are you doing?

Well I'm fine with this one, it's quite nice IMO. A new skin would be cool too.

Nice, some pretty good info there. Using a cell sounds fun especially if you can use it outside of missions like when you're going on a killing frenzy. Not much more that we already don't know.

Well first of all what are you trying to do? Make a list of ALL the games? Cause that would take so long, I can't even imagine. If so, you're missing a bunch of sports game like Madden, NBA Live, the 2K series, FIFA, Winning Eleven, all the street games, a bunch of Tony Hawk games. And way more to go. But I still don't know what you're doing so yeah.

Yeah playing good old Madden 07. And owning everyone as usual!
