I don't really want him to do the mobs theme, its happened too many times in my opinion. It should be different, He should be right hand man or something like that. Well wasn't Toni the Right Hand Man of Salvatore? IMO it would be great to be the leader of a gang instead of the second in command. Like it gives you more power and stuff. That's your opinion though, mine is a bit different.

No I think OGTAM meant that Upstate is a new addition to Liberty. Not a new redesigned version and that everything you see in the trailer is the "old" Liberty turned new. Like all the old stuff is new and if you could go back to the "old" one then it would be pointless because there would be two places of the exact same thing. Ah, I'm confusing myself now. Edit: This is what I think the new map of Liberty is. GTA3 and LCS: Very similar if not exact same Liberty GTA IV: The "old" Liberty taken and redesigned plus a new addition (possibly island or whatever) Upstate.

But it's not the "old" Liberty it used to be. It got one hell of a makeover (in a good way). So all the old places you remember from GTA3 and LCS are now a bit changed so they'll probably feel familiar but new at the same time. Don't worry it's R* if they chose to go back to Liberty, it should be awesome.

Well I'm sure if he does indeed become part of or create a new Russian Mafia in Liberty that they will be one of the top mobs. Driving the other gangs out of the city would leave no competition though lol. So I hope he will start feuding with those gangs and in the end maybe form alliances become the #1 gang.

Yeah but I'm sure R* will come up with a logical explanation for the expanding of Liberty such as OGTAM's theory on Upstate Liberty. I agree that if in the next trailer it was completely new city it would shock my brains out but I'm not counting on it. Although it is R* so we don't know what to expect.

Yeah emos kinda creep me out sometimes... Well 2 days ago I went down to Seattle with my family for a bit of fun. We walked around the city, went to Jimi Hendrix's Burial Memorial and Bruce Lee's grave. It was pretty cool. The day after we went to a couple of outlets and I got myself some Quiksilver stuff so it was a pretty good trip.

Meh, I agree with Jared I only want to stick with Liberty alone. Like I loved all the other cities and stuff but flying there would start to bug me after playing a lot. It would be cool if there was a mission like GTAPlayer said but travelling by plane just to get to a place would be annoying IMO. I agree with ps3 player that I was a bit disappointed when it was revealed that GTA IV was going to be set in Liberty again but all the new stuff that has been re-done and redesinged just changes my mind completely. And like Chris92 said, I guess we'll have to wait for that GameInformer issue to find out more.

Hmm, good find OGTAM. It would be pretty amazing if there was more than just the new Liberty. If Vice City was redone even without San Andreas it would be insane. But looking at that Google Earth image you showed us, Upstate Liberty looks HUGE. So, it could be a possibility but I think it will only be L.C. and more of it as you theorized (wow that's a word? ) with Upstate being included.

Totally agree. There has to be some realism but not too much like everyone else said. If it was it wouldn't be fun at all, basically everything Spaz said.

Yeah good point Dmac. I'm not sure what the deal was with dealerships in Saint's Row but someone has to. It would be cool to get a car that you have been looking for instantly instead of driving around the city to find it. But yeah it is Grand Theft Auto

Nah, the storyline will be much more interesting I think. It would be really disappoint if that happened and I'm hoping to become the don of the Russian Mafia

It sounds great that it is going to be really up to date with 2006 and no earlier, saw the ferris wheel by myself, I also wondered if Vladmir Mashkov was doing the voice for the new protagonist. I especially like the real life spoof of the trailer.

Good point Alistair. I have nothing against him being "old" or anything. I think he looks like a good age for a protagonist. Not some noob to crime but a real veteran.

Hmm, for me it would be too much. Even though it'd be really cool to see all the other cities redesigned there would be so much crammed into the story. It's a pretty good idea but for me it wouldn't work.

Good point. As much as I want to see all the old characters again, I hope R* doesn't put too many in. Donald Love is one of those characters I want to see again though.
