I'm going to Las Vegas from 28th Feb to 7th March, so I won't be here for a week. I might post up pics here, once I've converted them, and that could take quite a while. Lots of stuff lined up, staying at the MGM Grand. Will be doing the Grand Canyon trip via Boat, Heli and Plane, and other things too, like GAMBLING. I won't be going to a wedding chapel, at least I hope I won't, and will try and see lots of the sights there. My knowledge of Vegas extends only to The Strip, and the Grand Canyon, and that's it, so no idea about the rest of the city. Going with the parents so I don't get lost lol. Apparently the MGM has a lion zoo in reception, should be interesting. Can picture a lion trying to eat the pen out of your hand whilst you're signing in with the lovely receptionist. So, just a little status update there.

Consoles are the priority, the PC could get a simultaneous release but I doubt it. You'll just have to buy a console to play it. I posted in another topic about this, didn't see this. Anyway, I hope it's revealed within 6 months or less, I think GTA4 was revealed around summer 2007, between June and August but can't remember. Hopefully that'll happen again this year for GTA5.

A site called www.findmakarov.com has appeared on the net, with a countdown leading to the opening of the GDC - Games Developers Conference. Adding to this, a few games sites received dog tags with the site name on, but it's not sure where they came from. Seeing as it has makarov in the site name, people are speculating its counting down to a reveal of Modern Warfare 3, but since the site became known, Activision have since denied any involvement with the site. Also, recently EA released the free to play Duty Calls, which is obviously mocking COD, but was released to promote Bulletstorm. Could this be another trick by EA to mislead COD fans, or is it genuine but Activison don't want to comment until the GDC starts? Nice to know, thanks and welcome to the forum. I would think the first reveal of the game can be no more than 6 months away, if it's coming out in 2012 as many people are hoping. I think the first reveal of GTAIV was in the middle of 2007, around June, so maybe between June and August we might get an announcement, maybe even a teaser trailer.

I don't celebrate Corporate Bullshit Day because it's pointless. Same goes for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. You don't need to be told to do things for your parents on a specific day, you do it regardless.

My file size was only 550KB, give or take, so not an issue for me yet. Might be just for those highly ranked players with level 40 A-Spec and level 30+ B-Spec.

It's arguably their only bad performance this season. They haven't performed well this season but they still keep getting results, so they have a great chance. Other teams are slipping up a lot too. Never would have thought Arsenal would draw against Newcastle, no way.

Inception has to be one of my favs now, amazing film.

A band started following me on Twitter a while back, and I would definitely recommend them. They sound like a mixture of Metallica and any other great rock band you can think of. Epic songs, catchy choruses, good vocals, generally great songs. Buggy code in the first update, locked down peoples hard drives but at least they quickly solved the problem 2 days after. I just switched the HD back after a day and used the old one.

^ The UK never gets the right end of the stick, we always get the brown dirty end. There's 2 different versions of it, one with 3G and one without, so if the one without is under £250 then most people can get one if they've been looking forward to it ever since they were bitterly disappointed with the original PSP, like I was and still am.

I'm avoiding COD4 for the forseeable future, one of my accounts got deranked to level 1 and has -9 million XP to level 2. I will bypass the patch and hack to get it back to level 55, no other way. B Ops I still play but getting bored of dying first when I see the enemy first. Also playing FIFA 11, MGS4 and a bunch of others.

They won't though, although they're still not quite out of the title race yet. 90% certain they won't win the title. Man U will retain their form and win the title this season. Arsenals defence is too fragile for a prolonged attack for the title, perfect evidence in the Newcastle game, 4-0 up after 20 odd minutes, 4-4 final score. Man City are doing well, but it's too soon for them to win it, plus they're played an extra game than Man U.

Apparently, Sony have re-released the firmware and is available for download via System Update on the PS3. Link. It will say 3.56 again when you go to download it, but it's fixed the ability to install new hard drives.

Actually, my dad reinstalled my old HD and it works fine. As of this second, I have my external HD plugged in, and is backing up all my data. When the next firmware is out, once that's downloaded then I can change to my 640GB HD. Until then, stuck with my almost full 40GB. I'm happy the PS3 works fine though. Had to throw away the blue screw however. Not only did I strip the screw, I stripped the paint off the screw too and mangled the ends of it. Threw it away in the end, so ATM my PS3 has no blue screw inside keeping the HD steady.

It looks really impressive, the people who said it was as powerful as PS3 weren't wrong. They say battery life is about 4-6 hours. I hope this is priced under £300 otherwise it'll have a hard time getting a decent amount of sales for the first 6 months or so. If it's £250 or less that would be a reasonable porice, but still too expensive. Hopefully the games will be £30 or under as well.

It seems firmware 3.56 has a bug in that installing a new hard drive will render it corrupt. The HD isn't corrupt, more like the firmware's corrupt. I tried to install my new Samsung 640GB HD yesterday, turned it on, and it said the software couldn't be run. So, I did as it said and DLed Sonys firmware 3.56 onto a memory stick, put it in the console and pressed start and select, and then it said data is corrupt error 8002F225. Other people are reporting the same thing, I posted a topic on Sonys forum about it --> http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3-General-Discussion/Rolling-back-to-3-55-help/td-p/12325397 So, until Sony release 3.57, me and many other PS3 users can't use the console until they release a firmware update that actually works. And no, don't bother mentioning installing custom firmware because it's a high chance you'll just get banned from PSN if you're discovered with it.

Gran Turismo 5, trying to enjoy grinding to level 30 but hating every minute of it. Why was levelling up in this game made so tedious. As for locking full car damage to level 40, don't even get me started on that ridiculous decision. Also playing B Ops, FIFA 11 with my local team, AC Brotherhood and a bunch of other games.

All stealing is definitely wrong, reagrdless of your hunger. Having said that, in Alladin he steals frequently and yet you still enjoy the film. I don't know what my point was.
