I can't wait for this. I haven't been able to get on the net because a thunderstorm fucked up my modem, so I'm attempting to catch up now I'd like to see how the hotwiring develops over time, if it takes longer to hotwire a larger vehicle or the same amount of time.

I gave up on Syphon Filter, The 2nd mission is VERY frustrating. Instead, I'm playing a demo called 'King of Clubs', it's a crazy golf game and it's average.

I'd like modern rock or alternative bands like Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Arcade Fire, etc. Also, some Rap, Classical, 80's or 70's, Dance and Eastern European music relative to Niko as well as whatever else Rockstar have in mind.

There are a few players that I've bought on Pro Evo 6 for Man U in the Master League that I think could be good targets: Joaquin - Real Betis (upwards of £20 Million) Wilhelmsson - A.S Roma (upwards of £6 Million) Mancini - A.S Roma (upwards of £6 Million) Messi - Barcelona (upwards of £20 Million) I think Wilhelmsson could be a good buy, Joaquin and Messi are maybe unrealistic targets and I'm not sure about Mancini. I would have mentioned Ryan Babel as well, but the bastards Liverpool have bought him.

It's okay I suppose, but I thought you were going to somehow incorporate the lyrics into the video... maybe I set my sights too high. Also, what's with the Shirley Temple obsession? I just want to know.

Just about to start playing Syphon Filter on my PS2, the original Playstation version. I have the other 2 as well so I'll play those after I've finished SF1. Also, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (I think that's what it is) is going to be ported from PSP to PS2, which should be interesting.

Today I bought the Daily Mail for my dad - he wants the World At War series but it bores the life out of me, a Scarface book that isn't as good as I first thought, Phonebooth on DVD and Official UK Playstation 2 Magazine (OPS2), August edition.

I'd want 150 at most, because when there are a lot of levels in any game, quite a few of them either blend into each other or are mind-numbingly dull, not that I'm saying this'll be the case with GTA 4. The 150 excludes side missions, though. Including side-missions, I'd say 200.

I will definitely pre-order it, but seeing as I don't have a next-gen console yet, there isn't really any point. I'll try and get one within the next 2 months.

I was going to make a topic, but it's already been done. I like the feature, it's good because not many users put their location in their profile so for those that have chosen a flag, it's useful.

I think it will be as close as last season, and it will be between Chelsea and Man U again. Liverpool have signed some great players, but they need to get rid of the dead wood and get at least 5 more world class players in, along the lines of Torres. Arsenal have signed some obscure players and I don't hold much hope for them, but anything can happen so I'm not writing them off already. Chelsea have made some odd signings, I personally wouldn't have bought Ben Haim or Sidwell, and they won't get a team place either, but the core of their squad is incredibly strong, and Man U have made quality signings, the best of the summer so far - Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves and Tevez, when all the paperwork is cleared. So IMO it will be between Chelsea and Manchester United.

The only one I'm looking forward to is the Hitman film, and even that has a lot to do to be considered a good film. I've seen the trailer, and it looks like all-out action, which is NOT what Agent 47 is about.

Well, I haven't heard the album but IMO 'Neon Bible' by Arcade Fire is currently the best album of 2007.

I doubt Sony will get anything worthwhile at all, Microsoft look like they've bought it all from Rockstar. I'll never say never, but I think if Sony does get something, it will be fairly inadequate. Good news post, rockstarrem as well

There's an info bubble on the 2nd scan, and it says: "Like GTA: San Andreas, eating and sleeping will allow you to recharge your health. However, as part of the new direction, health pickups will no longer be floating throughout the cityscape." Looks like you can eat, then, and I presume sleeping means just saving your game, although I'm not sure. It also looks like getting your hands on some weaponry will be quite hard, as this Rockstar spokesman explains: "In Liberty City you've got to know where and from whom you can buy serious gear. It might be basements, car trunks, or from some survival nut in Alderney. Guns are precious commodities. They're not going to be easy to get hold of." Does this mean there won't be a weapons cheat? I hope not. Another interesting bit of info is that when Niko is running, he 'leans into corners as he runs, and his gait (eg his stance) differs at different speeds.' Nikos mobile will be 'the primary gateway into his life. His contact list, a daily calendar and organiser, text messages, camera, and multiplayer all work through his cellphone'. The internet has only been touched upon, so they don't know too many details yet, but they do know these: "The internet acts as a kind of discovery tool, and an information aggregator for what's happening in the city. It's also another great way for Niko to communicate with his connections. He can access his account from any computer in Liberty City that has internet access." That means you could possibly withdraw your funds from any computer in the city, handy if you don't have enough cash to buy a weapon. All the other words just go over what we already know - hailing a taxi, individual bulletholes etc. Those are the main details I noticed - if there are any I've missed, why not post them here?

If you're thinking of getting this Play issue, members in England, then make sure you do, because I bought it and there was a Powerstation mag inside the wrapping, meaning I wangled a mag for free They're not giving the mag away, it was just inside the wrapping, lucky for me. The people who package the mag must have put it in there without knowing.
