  1. no actually they are in the audio folder in a file called sfx.SDT ya need the gta 3 audio editor by lithjoe. [or maybe somethin else. thats what i use.]
  2. you gotta go in the folder where you have it installed theres a folder called data open that and theres a file called handling.cfg open that with notepad.[if word wrap is on uncheck it [up top under format] makes it alot easier.] you'll see that all the cars have a bunch of numbers after the name divided up by letters uo top of the file tells you what each does. basically what i tweak is j and k this is for traction. bump j up to about 1.2 or 1.3. [your preference. depends on if you like the drift or tight-ass cornering.] n and o this is for top speed and acceleration i take n up to 999 and o to 99. if you want no damage go to the end to y and set that to zero. the first one "b" is for mass i think this is what you want for makin the cars fly. i never really tweaked this much so i dont know if it will effect the suspension or not but you can raise that number a fair amount and try it and if alls well go back raise it some till it starts messing up. that should basically hook you up you can do some wild things with the suspension too but i usually have to do the tweake and try method. i got my dirtbikes jacked up so the seat is just over tommys head. looks funnier than hell. but you cant really do wheelies anymore tho.

  4. i would try installing the latest directx and video drivers (sound drivers wouldnt hurt as well) before redoing windows.

  7. lol i always do that after i get the mansion. you can take out about 10 - 15 and only get 2 stars then run upstairs change clothes and do it again and again.... the vercetti's are always my least favorite gang in my stats.

  9. There are 35 Rampages to complete scattered around Vice City. Each has a 2- minute time limit and provides infinite ammo for a particular weapon.
  10. ok i found a mod for san andreas for no cars or peds got to looking at it and the frq isnt set to zero its the next two : flags and comprules so im thinkin this might be how its done. btw there is no vehicle.ide in vice or 3 just s.a. in v~ and 3 its in the default.ide. i'll try it out later and post up the results in case someone else is interested in gettin this done.
  11. go into the cop station over in washington beach ( ithink thats what the area is. was never good at remembering the areas names.lol) its down the street from the hotel where you start the game. go inside (put ur guns away or they'll start cappin) to the left is a locker room with a cop uniform u can change into. the soldiers wont shoot at ya if ya wear the cop uni form. not sure if the uniforms in there before you do the breaking cam out of jail mision or not. its one of the first malibu club missions. if not there and you really wanna fly the hunter you can type the cheat to cycle thru tommy's outfits. but dont save cuz it might mess up ur rating. some do some dont 4 some reason. i think the cheat is STILLLIKEDRESSINGUP [for pc of course] but maybe not

  13. yes exactly i found this site www.ref3.gta.mendelsohn.de/ that has a manual on how to tweak but it says the spawn frequency is in the default ide and you can set it to 1 and the cars wont show up on the street just garages etc. but it didnt work [i did make the tires friggin GIGANTIC though which was funny). i dont see a vehicles ide all i can see is a vehicles col file and thats just code like above. guess it cant be done. heres what the manual says about default ide: cars The cars section of default.ide contains vehicle objects The car objects use much more information than the previous sections Each car object has twelve parameters. The last two parameters are type specific cars section header: # Id, Model name, Txd name, Type, HandlingId, Game name, Class, Frq, Lvl, Comprules in hex # # cars have two extra fields wheelmodelId and wheel scale # planes have one extra field model id of low level of detail ID, dff, txd, type, handlingID, gamename, class, frq, lvl, p1, p2, p3 ID - object's ID ranges from 0 to 199 dff - object's dff, 3d model txd - object's txd, texture dictionary type - type of vehicle. boat, car, heli or plane handlingID - vehicle identifier in handling.cfg gamename - gxt name class - vehicle class (controls what peds drive it and where?). ignore, richfamily, poorfamily, executive, big, special, taxi, worker. frq - frequency how often the vehicle apperars. 1 and the vehicle will not apperar on the road, it is for parked/mission vehicles etc.. The highest number in the file is 20 which is for the taxi. lvl - ? usually 7, mrwhoop and bfinject are 4, stinger and infernus are 6 p1 - the header calls this comprules in hex. usually 0, stinger and stallion are 2ff0 taxi is 1f10 and hoods is 1ff0 p2 - if the vehicles type parameter is car then this is the model ID of the cars wheels which can be 160-166. if the vehicles type parameter is plane then this is the ID of the plane's low level detail model. There are only two planes airtrain and deaddodo airtrain's low detail model is airtrain_vlo its line number is 198 so this parameter is 198 for the airtrain, deaddodo does not have a low detail model so the parameter is canceled out by using -1 as the parameter. p3 - if the vehicles type parameter is car then this is the wheel scale. Say n is the wheel models normal size this value is what n is multiplyed by to get the desired wheel size. Ex. to get the wheels normal size this would be 1.0 for a wheel 50% bigger than the normal size this would be 1.5

  15. what file(s) is the spawn frequency in? i wanna get rid of them cuz i tweaked the cars to mad speeds and waanaa do stunts w/out all the fools gettin in my way.

  17. go here www.thegtaplace.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=552 and download the img tool it has a decent help file and the cars on that also have read me's that tell ya how to do it. i always copy my game folder into another folder before modding so if problems come up you can just copy it back to the original folder. hope this helps.

  19. cop : anything ya say is shit thats a great one. i also like like the taxi driver when ya steal his car screams- get in the back aaaahhhh!! cracks me up every time. and of course when ya hit that one dude in his car and he calls ya a carpet muncher. also [this is in v.c. too] one of the bag ladies says "you look like my daughter shes a whore." most of the time she only says "you look like my daughter " and its kinda garbled so its hard to understand.
