Chrome is win for porn. Incognito windows ftw.

IMO, you should keep the colour scheme to that of the actual image you based it on, being the purple - ish slate brown colour in the center. Also, you seem to have lines going in all different directions, the sig will be more effective if they all branched out from the center or something, instead of being just quite random.

The cable's price won't really matter, quality - wise... unless you buy one that's obviously cheap cause its made out of squirrels or w/e. You'll notice the most quality increase in the OS, with the text and stuff. Ingame quality improves, but not hugely... I'd say the increase in sound quality is better than the graphics increase.

Thanks. I'm actually surprised people are voting me, since I randomly disappeared with no warning before. People are too forgiving.

Call Sony's tech support, if your system is less than something like 18 months old, they'll replace it free of charge. If it's older, I'm not really sure what happens, you either have to pay to get it repaired, or replace it yourself. The tech support line is in the manual / paperwork that comes with the system. Tell them what's going on, and when they ask you if you've dropped or knocked the system, make sure you say 'no', even if you've been using it to bang nails in with... or something. EDIT: UK PlayStation Careline - 08705 99 88 77 (National Rate) 8am – 10pm Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Go into the game options, then click audio. Under the user tracks section, click 'scan for user tracks' , and make sure they're turned on. Let it scan for a few seconds, and it should be done. Exit the menu. They'll appear in game as a new radio station called 'User track player'. Hope this helps

Looks more like a tommy gun to me. Could be a grenade launcher, though?

Just one. Edit your posts. Don't double post to bump up your topic. If people want to comment, they'll find the topic themselves. You've got a link in your sig, so just depend on people clicking that.

GTA 4 PC Multiplayer Help
MrLlamaLlama replied to EliteKiller A93's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
If all your settings are at the lowest, then your PC probably can't handle the amount of people all running around, etc. It'll run fine in singleplayer because it only needs 1 player input, but if it's taking 4 / 16 / 32 or w/e inputs, it might not cope. -

"The Driver" mission: Need help!
MrLlamaLlama replied to Ultraussie's topic in GTAVC Gameplay & Help
Got any racing simulation games (gran turismo, forza) ? If so, play these for about half an hour, then go back to vice city. Your car control goes up by like 200% If not, time for learning how to drive in GTA. The key is acceleration. Never stop accelerating. When you need to corner, get out wide, and perform big, sweeping turns, to minimize braking. If you're getting understeer (where your car doesn't turn enough) , keep the throttle down, and tap the handbrake to force the car to drift into oversteer, keep tapping the more you need your car to turn. If all that fails, I'll install VC later and give it a shot. -
GTA4 with a steering wheel?`
MrLlamaLlama replied to devilsadvocate's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
I don't think IV has real capability to work with Wheels. Since it's also a freeroaming game played on foot, and that's hard to control with a steering wheel (i'd assume). The inputs for wheels and gamepads work pretty much the same, but unless the game's properly coded to work with the hardware, there's bound to be problems. The only thing is to try and get hold of R*s tech support via email and see if the ever plan on implementing it. -
Hey tox, long time no speak. 2 Things i'd changey. 1) Make the Red border the same colour as the red ribbons in the background, and have it fade into the black center. 2) Is that text anti - aliased? It looks a bit jaggy, but that might be to do with the angle. Try aa'ing or changing the typeface?
-
Good news all around then... It's a shame the game in itself is still a bit buggy here and there, but we have to give that time. Wonder what the folks at R* will think of this?

Body builders and muscle builders are different things. Body builders tend to try and build strength and body tone, through both intensive excersize and good nutrition. Muscle builders aim to look as big as possible, they take massages that rip muscle tissue open, causing muscle to build in it's place, which increase muscle size. People like this twat.

IMO, fools can't read. That stated that the development process was going to be transformed into a 2 - year process. Higher game quality, reduced workload, etc. The website claimed that it was going to be cut, and provided a quote (presumably to try and prove it) that said nothing of the sort. Also, Mcrae and Macrae aren't the same people. One is a legendary Scottinsh racing driver (RIP), the other is likely just an americunt. x2.

Please, oh please, oh please can you just post this on the end of another topic like this? Like, here. I'd rather you bump / double post there than make a whole new topic that'll get 4 replies anyway. Post it there, so i can deletez this topic. Thanks.

Marriage = Invention of mankind Homosexuality = Natural, genetic, etc. Being gay is more natural than marriage is, so why shouldn't it be allowed? (I'm not anti marriage)

Do a system restore to the day before you changed the setup config. 1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. 2.On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next. 3.On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to. Click next, next, next, and hope for the best.

I'mma go right ahead and say this: Rockstar fucked up. Right up. So in a way i'm glad my HDD's broken, otherwise i'd have bought this on release date. I'm waiting till they release the v2 retail version, methinks. RAGE and PC need to learn to be friends. Yeah, the main problem with having a farking huge screen like yours is that you have to bring the settings down a notch. I settled for a slightly smaller monitor (22") so i could keep getting great graphics out of my 9600GT. Either carry on playing like you are, or wait for moar updates.

I've got no problem at all with the outcome of the image, it looks fairly decent, and you got the effect you wanted. The part I don't like is: When you start using photoshop, don't just default to brushes. You should use custom brushes to enhance what you can already do in photoshop, not the other way around. You might become dependant on brushes to make images, and they all end up looking samey. If you experiment with photoshop thoroughly, you'll find you can get far better effects than those generated by brushes. If you combine other techniques with brushes, fine - look at TM, he does some really cool stuff with brushes, but he's worked at developing a really unique style out of it. Yes, some effects can only be easily acheived with brushes (blood, smoke, etc.), but there's more to it than that. I've been using photoshop for 2 and a half years now, and have only 3 brush packs (angryblue's 2 and a smoke pack for ease), because i just find it's more rewarding, both in the outcome and self sense. I'd rather work really hard on something, find out 2 or 3 new techniques which i never knew i could do before, and turn out some shit work, than do constantly decent work with the same old effects. The best part of being a designer, for me, is finding out new techniques, new styles, new effects everyday. If you want to get into it, don't put a stranglehold on it. Broaden your horizons. Afterthoughts: 1) Not a dig / insult at you, more of a general note than anything, if you weren't planning to just use brushes, apologies. 2) Fuck capitalizing i's - shift is too far away. 3) Apologies also that the only time i post whilst my PC is broken is to rant. Back soon, hopefully.

I'd just like to point something out here. You justify having a female lead character in a fictional medium ( a future GTA game ) by showing us examples of females that have appeared in.... a fictional medium ( Both films and games ). Perhaps if you justified it using IRL examples, it would've worked. Now for my point. Eidos are pretty much geniuses. They found the perfect niche when creating Lara Croft. Sweaty teenagers everywhere could enjoy playing a damn well designed game, and get to look at some pixelated ass at the same time. Any other companies trying to do this at the time, or even now, for that matter, would be seen trying to get into that niche ( making it a non - niche ). Anyhow, if GTA were to use a female character, i don't think it would work. Lara croft is the definitive female VG character, and that's what makes it great, in the same way GTA's tried and tested formula makes it great. Coca - cola, for example, don't make cakes. Ford don't make TV's. etc, etc. After reading this topic, it seems to me that your reason for wanting a female protagonist is to 'be a lesbian' and 'work in strip clubs' so you can look at pixelated femal ass all day (see Tomb Raider reference above), not because you think R* should broaden their horizons, and demographic.
