Humans are the biggest problem on this earth. Dogs don't do shit mate. As I said, he should of escorted them. That drugs bullshit is stupid, and even still if he was that much of a danger he could at least get another cop in to take the girlfriend to the vet and leave the guy there with the cop to test for drugs and write the ticket. "IT'S JUST A DOG YOU CAN GET A NEW ONE." He did nothing to help them. Would you say "It's just a baby you can make a new one!"? Don't think so. Funny how you quoted my post despite the fact most of the others said the same thing I did. I do Psychology. I know what kind of person that cop is by the way he was acting. I'm saying alot of people like him had complications as a kid. Not everyone. And if he doubted there was a dog he could go fucking check. His attitude was way off. If your dog or child or wife etc is dying you probably aren't thinking too rationally. People with no excuses speed on a daily basis. They have more to be ashamed about than this guy. I probably wouldn't have my head in the right place either if my dog was choking to death next to me. As pointed out, if a human is giving birth or dying, more sympathy is given to speeding. Which is stupid but the truth. Would you keep to the speed limit if your wife or child was dying? They're pleading for you to hurry cause they need help and do you answer with "sorry pumpkin i can't go over 70". Most wouldn't. Okay. The cop could never be sure, without approaching the man (and his car), that there was indeed a dog. Danger that the man is high / drunk / armed is always there, you never can tell from that distance, he couldn't smell him breath, do a feild test, anything. All he knew for certain is he was speeding, endangering others lives and hysterical. Dogs may not do shit. Shit like speeding down a highway endangering lives. Just because you do psychology, doesn't mean you've met this guy, know how he was brought up, nothing. All you know is he is doing what eh was trained to do. I'm pretty sure the entire Canadian police force is properly trained to deal with certain situations. I quoted your post because I've already countered pojts made by other members, and i happened to hit reply after your post. Don't take it so personal, who knows, i might have been abused as kid and have some agenda about doing it. If my dog / wife GF was dying, sure, i wouldn't be thinking too great. But if it was a human life, I'd call an ambulance. An animal, I'm sure i'd drive a little faster than i would, but not swerve through highway traffic. The guy didn't help himself by yelling at the cop in hysteria. Those people that speed, let them, they get caught, cop is in the right. In any case of speeding, there's still a huge chance of an accident, why certain speed limits are emplaced. No amount of ill canines can take away the fact he was driving like an asshole, endangering lives. Final thing: Ok the cop was ignorant to tell the people they could get a new dog. But people can't buy a new wife / mother / son / daughter / father / neice / nephew / etc. The cop as doing his job, not trying to kill the dog.

The gallery isn't working, by the way. Nice too see news emerging, though... can't wait to actually play this properly.

Pictures that may suggest something funny...

Eloise, the dog, and the tortoise, all had great fun on their trip back from the crack den. (Look at them all dancing and dilated, lulz) -
You may think this topic is too 'epic' to close... but it's descended into a spam fest. Thug, Noodle (twice) G.B.A, Don't spam again. Closed.

You'll be fine runni git on the same settings as you do Assassin's (why oh why did you buy it on PC? ) Assassin's was a gorgeous game, don't think GTAIV looks graphically better than it, to be honest, who knows, maybe you'll get very high / ultra settings?

That's what I was thinking, but would you really like to pay a Fine or possibility of some jail time. Some chance you'll be let free, by a nice judge. I would. Id serve as much time in the world as long as the pet lived. That story discusts me. My cat is pretty much my son too YJ. I talk to him, feed him, play with him, he sleeps on my bed every night. He's my family, i treat him like one of my own. Pets deserve the same amount of respect as humans. We're no better than them. That poor dog he should of escorted them. And sorted out the fine etc later. He was trying to be "the boss". He was probably abused and controlled as a child and finally wants to be the master. Exactly what my dad is like. It's a common trait with people who were controlled and abused as kids and end up screwed up like this loser. How horrible. Italic: The man was hysterical when he got out the car, he could have been mentally ill, high, drunk, anything when that cop pulled him over. Bold: So every cop who tries to prevent speeding and death was abused as a child? Get real. He didn't know for sure there was a dog (see above) Seriously, you'd have all called the guy who caused a multiple death highway pileup an asshole for trying to save a pet. Wouldn't you?

I assumed we'd use the already existent Hot Babes thread.

Go into the main game menu, and loom in the bottom right hand corner. if it says V1.1, or V.2, that's what you have (or even V3) If it says nothing, you're on V1.

He obviously does, he used it in a perfectly acceptable and grammatically correct way.

Meh, just don't tend to fall for gimicky things (well, yeah i do) but Lol, i haven't used xfire in ages, last time i did was made an account to speak to a friend once while kicked his ass at AOE III online.
-
Most of us, though, have ears and know which song's playing anyway. Plus you only need the IM features if you're in a game, in which case you'd use xfire/steam... if you weren't ingame you just llok at your screen.
-
Apart from asking what mobo you're going to get? You'll need one with AM2 (possibly am2+) platform, and crossfire support.
-
Logitech g-15 = waste of money. You get a screen that tells you server info? you don't need that shit. Stick with a g11, IMO.

Acer monitors are as sexy as sex itself, kinda. The onboard brightness / contrast setup and all that is utter jizz, but I'm gonna assume you have an Ati program to deal with that. Having surround sound also really does make a nice difference in games... grab a chair in gmod, throw it up and close your eyes, the, guess where it lands through sound Other than that, no comment.

San Andreas is still in the registry, methinks. Make sure the entire folder is deleted, claim if back from your recycle bin if possible, and try again.

Linky to confimation if you're interested. I put 'i think' because i might have read another article about a seperate incident, and left it open for discussion. I won't close a topic that can still have discussion, saves a repeat being made. Ok, er.. stop the name calling Just leave it and sort it out in a PM if you must. edit: maybe not confirmation, but yeah, interesting nonetheless.

Doesn't say much for equality. I know it's usually Straight people having to be fair with homosexuals, but it has to work both ways. We don't (and couldn't) have a sub forum for just straight people, that would be plain rude. Just avoid the topics you don't want to see, etc. You could just as easily make a 'hot guys thread' without a rule breach. Not to say people wouldn't (try to) spam it with judgmental and disrespectful comments, but they have to learn about acceptance sometime.
-
Quit arguing. I think it's been confirmed a hoax now? If not i read an article about another bigfoot, but yeah.

That cop is an asshole... right up until the point where he avoided the potential deaths of dozens of people. There were huge trucks on that highway, they can plough through any number of lanes without stopping if the driver loses control, and those things are heavy, they'd crush cars and the people inside them at 30, let alone highway speeds (no idea what your laws are in Canada) Ok, it's sad the dog died... But all of us would have called the driver trying to save his dog an asshole if he caused a bunch of deaths. There, i said it.

He has no need to, you linked it to him. No moar spam.

Because what we were talking about is a perfectly justifiable conversation. ---closed by request----

Ice's GTAF equivalent is now going to make a 'OMG THEY LINKED TO US LINKING TO THEM!' topic.
