Ok, so, old PC screwed. I now have money for a new PC, but, not for the graphics card. It won't take me long to get the cash for one, so.. that's why it's not on the list at the moment, but i am aiming for an 8800. Just want to know what you guys think / would change, whether you think it's good value, and crap like that. Motherboard: Asus pwns all Processor: AMD? RAM: Corsair, couldn't find the OCZ memory i wanted... Hard Drive: 250GB Seagate Barracuda, even the names sounds cool. Power Supply: Sli Support. Can't go wrong. (This is the GFX card i'm sorta aiming for, but not sure...) Graphics Card: Should run pretty much everthing, maybe not crysis on full... I've already got a pwnage case, nice big monitor, 7.1 surround sound, gaming Keyboard and mouse, and all that stuff. So.. whaddya think? Oh, and err.. that will be running XP, not Vista.

Usually, i maintain a stealth aspect. Find a nice high place, that's hard to get to, and snipe. If this fails, i use a 'duck and cover' technique, running into cover and taking a few shots at a time to whittle the opponent's health down more slowly. After that, up close with a melee weapon. After that, grab the nearest car and aim for the shins. If all that fails, i'm probably dead. I adapt my style if playing as part of a team though, depending on the overall tactical stance of the team.

No shit. Chris, i'm on XP... and i managed to get scripted links working, hence the bold text. I'm also annoyed because MS's tech support, isn't really tech support, it just leads you round in one big loop of non - helpingness.

OK, so IE7 has now decided that i'm not allowed to download anything, or click scripted links. That means, i can't even put bold, italics or underline anything i type here. This should be in the San Andreas Section, i'l move it there. To get an at - 400, you need to have a pilot's liscense, and access to Las Venturas. Once you have these, go to the Las Venturas Airport, and locate a large (freakin' huge) hangar to the South East of the runway. Just stand outside, and the doors shoudl open, with an AT400 inside. It's a little tricky to get out first time around, but it gets easier with pratice. Hope that helped, and welcome to the forums.

The karmageddon - esque mission in the bus is shitloads of fun. I usually try and beat my score, or see how high a wanted level i can get. Either that, or seeing how long it takes to lose a 5* wanted level... no Pay n Spray, just bribes, speed, and good tatics. Vigilante in the Hunter is heaps fun too.

Paddy: Make sure you've installed everything correctly, it might be worth installing it manually, by replacing the txd and dff files inside the IMG file. Google up 'IMG Tool' and you'll find something, then in the readme of the mod, it'll give you instructions. Matty: You have V2.0 of the game. The reason mods don't work, is because GTASA.exe checks the size of the .IMG on startup, and refuses to laod if it isn't what it should. Run the downgrader patch. Google 'GTA SA doengrader patch' or similar to find it.

Not sure if you meant to do it like this, but that sig works really well, as all the perspectives move in towards the center of the image, which is just real nice, for some reason. Even though it leads the eye away from niko, and the site title. If you're planning to do anyhting more with it, make the text low profile, like, all one line, black stroke, slightly faded in the bottom right - ish corner... and move niko in from the right a bit, so he;s inbetween the center image and the stallion. Buzzkill. I'm guessing you yanks already got to see it, apparently it doesn't release until february here. Which is bullshit. I trekked nearly a mile and a half down a riverbank (from town centre to the cinema) today, only to realise it wasn't screening until Feb. What's worse, i got my shoes soaked. The GF refused to walk through the minor flooding at the edge of the river, so she got on my back and i carried her across. My brand new etnies... wet, and smelling of river water. But yeah, endured some other shitty girl crappy film instead. And paid out of the ass for food and drinks. If i'm not careful, this'll turn into a rant about the price of cinema food.
