Well once I got the internet working on my PS3, I found out I could sign in on my old one. So I still have all my contacts. I'll be on tomorrow some time when I get back home. I don't think I've added you yet, will do now. I just bought Resistance 2! However I can't open it until Christmas...

First off, OGTAM your sig is extremely kinky. I don't really believe in this whole 2012 end of the world stuff. They said we would all die when they tested the LHC but we didn't. They said we would be saved by aliens in the end of October but we weren't. When it's 2013 I'm going to post all over forums being an annoying prat saying "I told you so!" Btw I'm not implying that you believe in it.

STOP IT! lol. honestly though, theres no need to say stuff like that. its not like you can be a hd-dvd fanboy, so i mean...what then? dvd is only 576p or 480p (depending on region), but bluray is 7.1 full hd 1080p. holds a ton more etc. if you had watched a movie on blu-ray then watched it on DVD, i assure you, you wouldnt be saying that. in australia, theres a samsung bluray player for like $400 or something. not on special. ps3 is still 650 or 700, so there dont forget that iirc, blu-ray WAS sony's sorta invention / idea thing...it would be stupid for them to not put a bluray drive in ps3 Yup, they helped invent it I believe. I bought Sweeney Todd on Blu-Ray, IT'S AMAZING! First time I've watched it, I didn't even know it was a musical but I thoroughly enjoyed the film. It looked that much better in 1080P.

No. Not if you're truly addicted. A kid we use to hang out with will pause a game every 5-10 minutes to have a cig. He's HEAVY into Halo, moderately into Rock Band, and mildly into GTA. Yet.... He has to have a cig religiously every 5-10 minutes. I've never seen him go more than 20 minutes without one unless he was sleeping. HOWEVER.... I do not believe much in addictions. Or, at least, addictions controlling people. If you didn't want to be addicted to something... You wouldn't be addicted. I suppose your right, worked for me though but I wasn't really HEAVILY into it when I stopped. I'll have one now and then though if I'm stressed.

I thought Blue Ray worked on newer DVD players as well? And I thought PS3's could play normal DVD's too... PS3 can play Blu-ray, DVD, CD etc etc etc. Also how is it pointless? You get much better looking quality movies and there's also more storage. Don't go bitching on about the price of the PS3 as well, it's actually the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market.

I heard it got a 7 or an 8, it was made using COD4's engine . I'd say its probably a good rent. I'll probably end up getting this next summer, far too many other games coming out. Plus I can get it cheaper.

When was the 1st? Makes sense really, there are a lot of games coming out this month and now it will be during the holiday season. It's only a month but considering how long you've been waiting for it I can imagine why you would be annoyed.

Sorry for the bump! I thought nobody posted in this topic. It's been over a month since I posted this topic and I've learnt a lot more about this. The boarding school I'm going to in Edinburgh has after-school activities such as cadet training etc. Looks really good. And when I pass College I don't know if I'll go to uni, might just join the territorial army for a year and see if I like it. If I do then I might apply. Thanks for the advice guys, appreciate it.

I just think it's a shame because in the end we get a game which could have so much potential but loses a lot of it because the developers are greedy. Btw the whole store rant is for updates coming out like say 1 month after release and are to be payed for.
