Someone spends the $$$ for a BMW, they tend to keep up the maintenance. Check the fluid - is it full? Smell okay (not burnt)? Look okay (nice dark red color, no metal flakes)? Properly maintained, there's no reason you shouldn't expect 200k out of that car. Take care of it, a lot more. A quick search shown no recalls on BMW, Check w/ local dealer to be sure.

150 MPH, (1 Km = 5/8 Mile). That's still pretty respectable. Mercedes got game. In Europe, they have a 3.0 diesel that makes tons of power. In a Chrysler 300 body (big Mercedes chassis) , they're only 1 second behind the new Hemi in the guarter mile. Too bad they dumped Chrysler, those would have been good over here. Full size room, V-8 power & Diesel MPG. Sounds like Jace's family made a nice score.

I know this about BMWs, they're brick reliable. Once you get past the "yuppie snob" factor, they build a damn good car. They know what works & tend to stick to that. Look for member FunGt. He has a site w/ backups for the data files. Your post didn't really show the problem, but it sounds like a missing texture map, so you just get a blank model. I'll presume your computer meets the hardware requirements for VC, but if your video isn't, you'll get the same problem. chris82's suggestion sounds like the easiest way to fix your IMG file. Start w/ the original IMG & start changing the models (X.DFF & X.IMG) one at a time & save a copy of the IMG file each time. Load the game & see how it looks. If it's good, go to the next model. The IMG is a huge file, so once you know your mods are working, you probably want to delete the older back ups. Good luck. EDIT: Welcome to TGTAP, look around & check out the rules. Enjoy.

Are the models compatible w/ the IMG files in GTA 3 & Vice City? If so, could a Vic Vance model be converted to San Andreas? No joke, serious question.

You talking PS or X-box? I have AR Max for the PS2. It works like a game shark + bypasses the region code, so I can play games marketed outside the US (like the UK version of GT4 I want) & DVDs not in NTSC format. I think it does more, but would have to read the instructions. Bought legally for $30 (US) at local game shop.

There are folding AK variants that might fit in the briefcase. If I find a pic, I'll put it in "Show U Your Guns".
