Spaz The Great
We should post radio wishlists in another topic, do you wanna start one for me Spaz? or someone, post all the genres you can think of, and get people to say what songs they want for that partcular genre, so we can compile a huge, big, massive gently caress off list of them I say: Funk Techno Metal Rap Country Alternative Rock Any others? Chris
Pop (just to satisfy those sort of people...) Hip hop (is this classed as Rap?) R&B Punk (you know like Sum 41 and blink-182 type bands) Went on Launch.com and found these Blues Electronic/Dance Jazz Latin New Age Reggae Now, assuming its going to be set in modern day, lets get posting some songs
Airashii
Yes, Techno is manditory, as for songs, well i'm not sure, i'm assuming that it'll be set in America and so most songs will be American, plus, i'm not American so therefore I have little to no clue of what music they listen to. Chris
No, there'll be plenty of other countries represented, not just those Americans. I firmly believe these bands should go in the metal station: Iron Maiden Metallica System of a Down Rock: Linkin Park Rage Against The Machine Green Day ? Rap: well obviously the likes of Eminem will be on this As for actual songs, I can't name any right now, just bands. EDIT: Just realised all those bands I posted are American or have American Citizenship
Spaz The Great
Electronic/Dance is just part of techno. Techno would be house, electronica((everyone calls it something different)), dance, rave, etc. In metal((this is being as general as possible)) there should be: Kittie Lamb of God Slipknot MAYBE Cradle of Filth. Cough7007
Why not just put your own in? You know, like the XBOX. EDIT: Crap. I think the stations "clearness" (you know, static level) should depend on your location in the city. For instance, Radio Los Santos should only be accessed in Los Santos, or at least be staticy in other citys. You know what I mean?
aemboy15
Yeah that would be cool. What if they had stores ware you could buy CDs and install a CD player in your car. Also nvm, thats for the wishlist.
Cough7007
Lol, I'm sure it would be possible. It IS going to be on the PS3 and all.
Chris
I bet Rockstar employ someone in the music industry to choose the best songs for the game, but I reckon the fans should have some input, since they are the ones playing the game. aemboy15
Yeah SA was the only game that satisfied me music wise, actuly, its the only on that I realy play.
Cough7007
Yeah, San Andreas' soundtrack was great. I'm sure Rockstar will do a good job at choosing a new soundtrack. If they don't, I'll have to mow some ass...

It would be ok with the whole CD player idea because then you wouldn't have to worry about stations. The techno station DEFINELTY needs to be DJ'd by Hans Oberlander. He was THE best GTA DJ I have heard yet. He is up there with Lazlow. Who also needs to come back. Lazlow should be on the metal station. Yeah and Rockstar sent fansite webmasters in the Rockstar Webring the 2CD and DVD set thingy for free, so I loved it too They are so nice to their fans. I mean, have you ever heard about any other game developers sending their fans free stuff? Rockstar is about the fans.

(Maybe not all, but still...) You're right, though, Rockstar has great respect for their fans. I'm sure they'll always listen to the fans for ideas, first. Chris
Busted and Keane fall under the Pop category I believe, and Busted have split up anyway (w00t). G 'n R should definitely be in the game though. Van Halen on the 80's station (if they have one) Maybe Lostprophets would be on the rock station too.
