JustADummy
In a Fujitsu Esprimo Mobile, I cant even play The Sims 2 or GTA SA and the GFX is 256MB! And the processor is 1.6Ghz x2 (Core 2 Duo) Edited February 24, 2008 by Spider-Vice
GTA Don
Give us your specs. It could be that you meet the minimim requirements, but are hanging on a very thin line of thread. (Your laptop just about meets the requirements). Btw, CAPS LOCK OFF PLZ!
MrLlamaLlama
He's already been told about caps, that's enough for now. 'Just got' the laptop? Likelihood is, it's got vista, the resource hogging OS. So that, combined with being a laptop (which are generally less powerful) is probably the problem. LILSHORTBOY8
So i would be better of downloading it on my computer instead of my laptop
MrLlamaLlama
No, you'd be better off buying it. The fact you outright stole the game might be the problem. We will provide no further support for illegally obtained versions of the game.
LILSHORTBOY8
what r u talking about i stole the game i bought it off of ebay. Why are you saying that i stole it
Kitsune Inferno
what r u talking about i stole the game i bought it off of ebay. Why are you saying that i stole it Because you said you'd be better off downloading it to your PC. That implies that you did the same with your laptop, which is illegal. MrLlamaLlama
You said 'download the game', which, unless you mean through steam or D2D, is illegal. Sorry if i misunderstood.

Thomas.
The fact you got the game off of E-bay doesn't really help. Try cleaning the disk and then try it. Also exit all programs running in the background .
LILSHORTBOY8
Alright Ill try that thanks
Urbanoutlaw
If it installed & loads, the disc is probably okay. When SA first came out, I tried installing on my laptop (AMD 2800+) & the game clock ran closer to real time instead of one minute(Real time) = one hour (game time). the culprit was my graphics, or lack of. I think most laptops rely on on board graphics which usually can't handle much for games. It does handle Vice City & GTA3 nicely. The minimum specs listed for video is 64 MB video card (you got that covered) & DirectX 9 support, GeForce 3 (or equivalent) or better. If it's a Vista machine, I recently noticed the new games have higher system requirements for Vista than XP. If you have a desktop machine, try installing on it there. BTW, welcome & enjoy.
