Yea. i heard downloading firefox gets around it im going to try it tommorow.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to download (and especially execute) exe files. Usually only high level computing students get that. Even then, they sometimes have to get staff verification aswell. Plus, I'm not sure what system you school uses, but it'll only be good for that PC.

Also, in many cases, these blocks are emplaced by your local council / committee thingy... meaning it's blocked in libraries, schools, hospitals, and all the public sector places like that. And it'll be alot harder to get around if the guys in the ties are running it instead of a school.

This whole proxy thing went through a phase at my school. Unfortunately, the only people who ever managed to find them were fucking idiots... They used the INTERNAL SCHOOL MAIL SERVICE to email eachother these sites, so every time a server admin found 'proxy' or 'site unblocker lolololololzzzzzorz!!!!!' in an email subject.. it was.. delete, and then block the server URL too.

And, if they find you've been at that previously linked site, like, by looking through your web history and shit.. then they can just take down all those proxies and block them all too.

My advice: Do you work in school, and watch porn/ go on forums / play games when you're at home. At the end of the day, they get employed for a reason. Because they know what they're on about. 5 sweet minutes of not doing work isn't worth it if you're gonna get busted. After all, how do they know you weren't trying to hack their DB, access child porn, etc?

WOT lives on!

Probably because of the fact that there may be some servers in your school computer network that are monitored by some admin guy... You know how easy it is to log a user's viewing history, right?

As Huckleberry said, it's very easy to log history, well with IE it is.

Just delete the cookies, and history thing after your done :P

Good luck with that, comrade. When I was in primary school, it was the middle of year 4 and I fractured my left leg. I had to wear a cast (no more crutches wooo!) and I wasn't allowed out for playtime. So, I chose a friend to stay with me and we installed VC on the teachers computa! Played it for about a month, completed it in two weeks. After nearly two months gone by, she realised it was rated 18 and told us to uninstall it.
