Connor
Well, I just reinstalled my operating system due to my computer just messing up, and now I've gone and got viruses, but I got rid of them, but one is stuck and keeps being found in the System Volume Information folder for system restore. I just want to get rid of it, anybody know a way?
MrLlamaLlama
Ask your antivirus prog for the directory, go in an d do a shift - delete on the entire suspect folder.

WRX22B1998
oky doky. to fix this, right click my computer and click properties. then click the system restore button. then click the box "turn off system restore" and click ok. restart if it asks you to. then go back into that menu and turn on system restore. otherwise u will get problems with this all the time...i dont think you can delete this folder since it is protected by the operating system...that is the only way as far as i know

Sometimes viruses end up in the System Restore folder, so turning off the utility can remove such leftovers...
