macorules94
- Toothpaste doesn't work. - Vaseline doesn't work - Rakija doesn't work - Wisky doesn't work - Taking it to Video Ezy, for them to fix it, still doesn't work Any other ways? They don't sell GTA SA on PS2 anymore, I've looked at every shop.
bug72
when I have a scratched disk I usually use a window cleaner and spray it on. then take a paper towl and wash it!
Chris
Use sandpaper. Look in the preowned bins and on ebay etc.

Bear
Use black shoe polish, it works very well. Or if all else fails do what I did with my VC game. Get a friend over with the game, give them lots to drink. When they go for a pee, swap the games. I know I am a terrible person but I did this, also he left his memory card over and I needed one as my dog buried mine in the garden so I didn't bother to return it. But black shoe polish is very good.

Nate10
If you really have done everything you said you did, and it's still not working, then I'd just get another copy of it. :/
EvoLuTioN
Yeah if everything is failing get another copy of the cd. Check online they are not available in local stores. eg: Ebay.au or Amazon or you can try Bear's idea.
Bear
Amazon is amazing, you can find the most random rubbish in there. I don't trust Ebay that much.

Super Hyphy
The Disc-Go Pod is an awesome (but EXPENSIVE!!!) way to fix it... You can go to KMart and by the Motorized Game Doctor, should be cheaper than buying a new copy of the game... Or just get a new disc...
Chris
I've only ever heard bad things about Game Doctor's. Apparently they have little if any effect at all on the disc.

Chris
If it fails, try using a chainsaw to slice off a thin layer of the disc. This will remove the layer all the scratches are on. Don't saw of too thick a layer though, as you might accidentally saw off the layer with all the data on.
Damjan
If you don't have an chainsaw, improvise.Take the motor from the lawnmower and start slicing.

I own one, and it's actually pretty good for small-medium scratches. It saved me from buying a new NFS: MW, GTA: SA, THUG2 & True Crime Streets of LA. I got mine at a thrift store for 7 bucks. One on ebay or Amazon should only cost about 10 bucks.
