Akuma
What the hell? Run up to a jump ramp, and hold down lean forward and move forward and move left. You could probably just use lean up, but I've been in Vice tooo long.

Taime
Yeh, I agree, I think its the one you do in driving school. Its possible outside of the school, just find a jump and attempt it the same as in the drving school.
Slayer
I do a lot of barrel rolls outside the school. It's best to do them in San Fierro because it's got a lot of jump ramps. There is one near Katie's home, two at the western tunnel entrance, also near Katie's home. There is also one near that supermarket. Two best vehicles to use are Bullet and Blista Compact. Barrel rolls are quite tricky to master because you have to hit the edge but at the same time you have to fly up high and turn very fast at the beggining because when you rotate over 180', you stop turning, so turn hard or you'll end up on the roof. The hardest part is landing it. You'll usually turn over unless you land it perfectly. This also depends on what car are you driving. You can always do one in driving school, but it's so damn easy to do that it has no use outside.
Akuma
I'll go into San Andreas sometime and PROVE to you that a cork on a motorbike EXISTS.
Taime
come to think of it, the driving school jump is a corkscrew and a barrel roll in one, cause you corkscrew off the jump and barrel roll in the air. and i wanna see this Bike corkscrew jump, ive never seen one unless its a jump you found out. Spaz The Great
You CANNOT corkscrew "jump" with the bike. The physics won't allow such a thing. Now, granted, you can do a corkscrew IF, if there is a corkscrew shaped road((you know, just a path in the shape of a corkscrew)), AND you know what you're doing. A corkscrew is NOT just rolling the vehicle, that is a BARREL ROLL. A corkscrew is like a barrel roll and a loop having sex and producing a mini morphed version of the two. 888ball
I wouldn't worry about it, he just made his post a bit senseless. And Akuma is totally right and so is Spas apart from when he said it is not possible on a bike. To be honest i think he ment a corkscrew ramp or object. Anyways there are two sorts of flips for GTA stunting, the "corkscrew" which is executed by pressing forward and a direction on VC or just forwards on SA and it looks like a front flip with a twist (Spas described it best) And there is the Krail which is executed by pressing backwards and a direction, yet again this just looks like a backflip with a twist. Fugitive
anywayz: the stunting world calls this a corkscrew. lol cork Actually, this wasn't a corkscrew. A corkscrew means a frontflip 360, and you did a frontflip 270... Corkscrews in SA are possible. I saw some corkscrew2grind, and you don't need to jump from a building or whatever. You just need a ramp. The stunters who has much skills, know to do them easy... Edited March 11, 2006 by Fugitive
