How's this for a banner/sig, huh? -
Not Another Buddy Movie
Huckleberry Pie replied to Huckleberry Pie's topic in Graphics & Writer's Pad
Yeah, agreed with that... Yeah, and adding to the fact that there are lots of cameo appearances in it... Oh, and here's the Flash Earth link for the hotel, just in case you guys are now working with it... -
Not Another Buddy Movie
Huckleberry Pie replied to Huckleberry Pie's topic in Graphics & Writer's Pad
Including you. And you. But on topic, Huck where do you get these ideas. I got that idea after photoshopping an image from Conviction, pasting Sofia Vassilieva on an image with Sam on it: I went to bed that evening, and thought of a story out of that pic... And that's how I came up with that fanfic... I also came up with some missions, just in case if we came up with a mod for GTALC (a mod for a mod?), although this involves replacing one building with the Plaza... OK, so I saw a SketchUp model for it, maybe this would do the trick, converting the mesh to DFF and mapping TXDs to it... -
What have we learnt from San Andreas?
Huckleberry Pie replied to azn's topic in General GTASA Discussion
Agreed... Actually, one thing that I've learned from SA is that drugs can be a real pain in the butt for your group, gang or friends, since the GSF is anti-narcotic... -
A fellow Filipino guy, like me, a random name - truly classic...

Not Another Buddy Movie
Huckleberry Pie replied to Huckleberry Pie's topic in Graphics & Writer's Pad
Gee, thanks... Any suggestions? Maybe a copydown combination of these two photos, replacing the guy at the back with Sam, will do: I wonder what Max Payne can say about this, since he's a Splinter Cell fan... -
Those narcissists remind me of Squidward; if you go to his house, you'll see a mother lode of portraits of himself...

Not Another Buddy Movie
Huckleberry Pie replied to Huckleberry Pie's topic in Graphics & Writer's Pad
Hmm, thanks for the rants, Spaz; OK, I know some of this was just taken from various sources (Wikipedia, the Eloise website, and so forth), but OK, maybe some minor changes might do the trick... And, about the buddy movie stuff, think of a really crappy movie such as the recent Bratz flick; I made NABM as a response to them, just because they suck and all... -
Who is your favourite character?
Huckleberry Pie replied to GTA Don's topic in General GTA Series Chat
Carl Johnson, and, of course, OG Loc, cuz he's kinda' funny... -

Gee, thanks... I'm still waiting for MrLlamaLlama to finish my art request for this one... -
Not Another Buddy Movie is a parody/crossover story by yours truly, combining Eloise and Splinter Cell into a unique, crazy mashup. Although this one was based on Splinter Cell, many events, plot elements, characters and stuff from the Grand Theft Auto III series are involved, which explains why I posted this one here. OK, I've already posted a similar thread here, but I decided to make another one... I'm now working on the prologue; it's not yet done but it goes like this: It was a sunny day in New York, as usual; Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Salamone were busy with the guests, and so are some of my friends at the lobby. It seemed rawther strange that my Nanny didn't come here to take care of me... And then, my Mama called... *cellphone ringing* "Hi there, sweetie!", Mama called, "Are you OK there?" "I'm OK, Mama, how about you?" I replied. "I'm fine here at the agency. But I'm afraid your Nanny won't make it there, since she got sick last night," said Mama... Eloise's mum works for the NSA, and is a friend of Irving Lambert, Sam's employer (actually, I made up those facts to give a little background about her mom's line of work, which was never mentioned in Kay Thompson's children's book). The books were originally set in the mid 50's, but I retconned it, so it now takes place in October 2007, during the events of GTA IV, although the story is set in NYC, meaning that the girl was born in 2001. Timeline The following is a timeline of events in the canon of NABM, well, just to give you guys a little back-story about its characters. 1907 - The Plaza Hotel, designed by Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, was opened to the public on October 1, 1907. 1943 - Conrad Hilton bought the Plaza for $7.4 million in 1943 and spent $6 million to refurbish the original. 1947 - Eloise's Nanny is born. 1952 - Tommy Vercetti and Mr. Salamone is born. 1957 - Sam Fisher is born. 1969 - Carl "CJ" Johnson is born. 1983 - William, the room service guy and Eloise's homie, is born 1988 - Donald Trump bought the Plaza for $407.5 million. 2001 - Eloise is born. 2002 - Toni Cipriani bought the Plaza for $700 million from Donald Trump. 2003 - The Third Echelon was established. 2004 - Eloise's mum began working for the NSA. 2007 - The events of NABM took place. Characters Sam Fisher - He was an operative of Third Echelon, a clandestine division of the National Security Agency. Fisher is extremely agile and an expert in the art of stealth. Fisher was the first person to be recruited as a field operative of the "Splinter Cell" program for Third Echelon. Although somewhat reluctant, Sam accepted Lambert's offer to take care of Eloise, since he had nothing else to do besides doing nothing in his townhouse. Eloise - A city child, Eloise had been an NYC resident since she was little. She lives in the Plaza, room 1602 to be exact. She's a nuisance and a party crasher, yet loved by her homies at the hotel. Mr. Salamone - The manager of the Plaza Hotel; he makes sure that everything runs smoothly at the Plaza. He's rather strict and acts seriously. Despite being somewhat pissed off at the girl's antics, he often smiles and says "Hi!" at the kid. Bill - Bill's one of the waiters at the Plaza, and a close friend of Eloise. Every morning, he brings room-service breakfast at the kid (and her pets, too). In the evenings, he attends theater school; in one chapter, Sam had to drive Eloise and Bill to Yuko, the girl's buddy and escort the waiter to school. Nanny - Eloise's close friend and homie; she somewhat influenced the girl's way of speaking, adding a little British accent to the words Eloise speaks. She got sick (as in, really sick) in the story, which explains why Sam had to take care of the kid. Toni Cipriani - The present owner of the Plaza; after his successes in the gangsta scene, he went on buying the Plaza from Mr. Trump after leaving the Leone Family, which fell in disarray after the death of Salvatore Leone. He always smiles and greets at Eloise, whom he admired, since he had no children. Mrs. Thompson - Born Catherine L. Fink, Kay is an American author, composer, musician, actress, and singer, best known for her stories about her friend Eloise. She works at the Plaza lobby, assisting guests who check in and out of the hotel. Carl Johnson - CJ is one of the leading members (later co-leader) of the Grove Street Families (GSF), along with his brother, Sean "Sweet" Johnson. He checked in the Plaza, and made a rather comic cameo appearance... As you see here, I've combined elements and other stuff from GTA, Splinter Cell, Eloise and a bunch of other movies to make this story... Suggestions are welcome... I hope you guys like it...

Important: Multiplayer / Gang / Store Changes Imminent

Yeah, I'm longing for a gang war... I don't have SA on PC, I just play SAMP on my homie's pad, so an SAMP server will do, too... -

It's a bit disappointing that few Filipinos in my turf care about soccer... Oh well...

Useless information, but there it is
Huckleberry Pie replied to hypercoder's topic in General GTASA Discussion
OK, here's one quirk that I discovered in SA: When you perform a drive-by in a motorcycle, while accelerating, Carl shoots with his right hand; as we all know, almost all motorcycles (in real life or in fiction) have the throttle in the right handgrip. Unless if the bike is equipped with an accelerator/autopilot/automatic throttle device, such right-hand drive-bys on an accelerating bike are practically crapshoot to make... -

No, I'm not just showing off my pics, it's just that I'm waiting for MrLlamaLlama for my sig to be done... Are you gonna use it for your Eloise fanfic? Yup, and I already have a title for it; it's called Not Another Buddy Movie, my response to those rawther lackluster buddy movies in my home turf... -

I was waiting for MrLlamaLlama to turn this rawther dorky picture: ...into something reminiscent of this: I hope it turned out well, and make it into a sig, a loading screen or something else... -
I don't think so, unless if they confine it to just one section of LC...
