Technically it is unique, being that it is the most flexible among the III-era games. Most total conversions use SA as a tabula rasa for pasting Vice City, Liberty or Whatever City into a mod.

I used the IVAud editor for changing the sounds on that gun. It didn't have those side rather fugly side effects like those in SA. Thanks. And bring me Fegelein, will ya?

Basically my first ever released mod for GTA IV; rigging guns for that game seemed as trivial enough for me as it was in SA, so here it is. Original model from 2K Czech Converted to RAGE/IV by Huckleberry Pie Ever felt like gunning down Fegelein, or do you want to have a piece of Reich firepower in your game? The system/disk space requirements seem a little conservative imo compared to IV; the console versions took up 20-something gigabytes of space (based on what I've read on the Pirate Bay, as both the PS3 and 360 releases weighed in at 22GB). I hope it won't be a shit port compared to what R* Toronto did to IV.

'Tis bloody hard to attain 60fps on medium with a mid-range system. Most of the people I know who run IV were only able to do 40-45 on decent settings. Blame it on how R* Toronto ported that game.

Actually it is possible to mod the Steam versions from what I've heard, as all you have to do is to replace the exe with a v1 binary, like the Hoodlum cracked version. Still it won't be an option if you're trying to abide by the law.

Well it was a tad unoptimised, being that it used too much CPU cycles and shit. I can barely reach 40fps on some areas where as I can run Mafia II on near-max settings and with 35-65fps.
