It's normal that you uninstall the audio drivers before upgrading to a new one. You don't want that BSOD thing, right?

Looks like you're not the only one having the BSOD issue; the Google results show that the .sys file you mentioned is the audio driver that's causing the problem. I'll try finding a patch for you to try, OK? EDIT: You may give this driver a try; I dunno but this may solve your BSOD problem...

A mod goes wrong & you end up having to uninstall GTASA, Windows ADD/REMOVE may or may not get it all & when you reinstall you get the same problems back because the new install found an old DATA file. A quick defrag USUALLY gets the left over bits, but I think Huck wants to be a little more thorough than that. Sorry, not much help on registry editing. I guess I'm just a lot better at destroying things. Hehe... Although it would be nice if I made one, even if I know a little bit of Visual Basic...

Try BSODing the game again. Find the file that the computer thinks is the cause of the crash, and then maybe I'll help you with that. I think it has to do with your device drivers.

Check your device drivers. Can you give me a spec sheet of your system? Hint: Go to System Information, System Properties or Display Properties (for your video driver).

The reason why some illegal versions have missing audio is that they are ripped versions, which are made as small as possible, to save on download time; a 1GB copy of GTA3 can be made into a 250-300MB rip by just blanking the radio files, which is then distributed as a series of RAR files with a batch file acting as a setup program. Ripped versions do have problems such as exception errors or crashes due to missing or modified assets, so my best bet is to buy a legal version instead...

Also, certain device drivers may have issues with San Andreas; have you tried updating it? Scan your system for malware, which might be from an illegal copy of San Andreas...

Try downloading the dll file; I also had that problem before, when I tried running the ENBSeries mod...

Version 2 cannot be modded; R* modified the exe so that third-party enhancements will not work. I think the BSOD has to do with either your drivers or your system. And the sig's too humongous, by the way, 500x180 is enough...

I would have provided myself a much larger partition if I were you; removing unneeded programs and cleaning up temporary files might do rather than attempting to rip the audio out...

Zmodeler and 3DS Max are used for 3D models, and TXD Workshop is used for the textures. And we can't give you a free copy of it, it costs money; giving you a torrent link to it is warez and against the rules...

It isn't that easy to make such mods, as 3D models of cars usually take weeks or months to build, especially if it's a high-polygon one...

I'm not sure about this... Do you have another PC to test your install?
