  1. If you're gaming and you're forced to use Vi$ta just because of DX10, disabling visual styles and other knick-knacks may give you a performance gain.
  2. Well, I could have written a better and more *dignified* letter to JT, rather than telling him that he's a ---- and wind up with him replying to me regarding my statement to him...
  3. OK, I have a sketchup model of the Plaza Hotel that I would like to place on the map. Can you do it for me?
  4. Age doesn't matter in a forum, but there are times that when you run a forum with minors registering, especially with kiddie forums and stuff, you will have to deal with the feds if your site's based in the US, you know, the COPPA rules, also known as the Children's Online Privacy Protection stuff? But then, again, as long as you're mentally mature enough, and you don't act noobishly, it's OK to join and have fun here...
  5. Vic's fate was a cause of some controversy among fans, I think. Some say that he's the one who got killed in the crack dealing scene in VC, but because the guy speaks in a different accent, and because of the fact that his name wasn't mentioned, it might be either a retcon, a continuity error, or Vic might not be the guy who got killed in VC...
  6. The quote says it all; my homie and I are asking for a Fortuner car mod - he made one, but unfortunately, it ended up wasted after his Mac's HDD mucked up recently...
  7. Uh, excuse me, Lou, but it seems as though you're a bit disruptive, off-topic or something, you know... BTW I'm the same guy who asked you for the Fortuner...
  8. Celeron M and integrated graphics? It can and will impose a performance penalty on your game, especially with the mods on, since most mods have more polygons than the stock ones, adding the burden to the hardware. I once tested a Hyundai Starex mod on a PC (which probably ran on a Pentium D or a Celeron D, and 128MB video, I think) and whenever I come across the vehicle, the frame rate drops. So my best bet is to try a desktop with a decent graphics card, and avoid Celerons as much as possible... I have a Pentium Dual with a 7300LE, and 1GB RAM, and I usually get 25-30fps on minimal settings...
  9. Frontier's sig looked so sweet! And how about my request?
  10. He's asking for a download link to it, I guess...
  11. Blend it, if you can find a blender that can fit an X360. If you can't, try blending the controller instead... Sorry if this sounds like I'm a PS3 fanboy, but I think most of Microsoft's products today are an epic fail, such as Vista; a friend of mine (who's also a Wikipedia contributor and a fellow Shortcake fan ) told me never to go Vista, as it just sucks the crap off your PC much more than Dakota Fanning does...
  12. It's a Ford Crown Victoria; try searching at GTAInside.com for it - I downloaded a Crown Vic from them recently, you know...
  13. Which explains why I can only get 30-40fps when I play GTASA on 800x600 true colour, plus mods. Rawther decent, but it sucks when I try the HDR lighting mod - I only get a frame or two per second...
  14. Ang linis, noh? Clean, isn't it???
  15. Nice, but I guess practically everyone else in the forums know this...
  16. Try the Zmodeler forums or GTAForums; I'm not sure about that, too...
  17. Did you just download the game from a warez site? You need to reinstall VC for you to use it... And read this before posting just a bunch of smilies again:
  18. Agreed. Maybe the chassis is poorly grounded or something, since you've swapped mobos a few times, or maybe it's the power supply that's causing the problem...
  19. OK, and can you place new buildings, too?
  20. Woah... Any more and that would be way too overkill...
  21. LOL 419 scam... Shall we move or huff this, folks?
  22. Does this mean that future editions of GTA IV discs sold to gamers will be patched, too?
  23. No, I don't meant noob as in you, what I mean is those people who are new or have basic knowledge of computers, who might get easily scared off by the popups that appear in front of their screens... And have you tried my suggestions?
