We're thinking about switching out Chestnut's parts with something like that. She won't want to play GTA IV or anything, but she will want to play HL2 and shit like that.

I tried it. I think I ended up with a fucked-up system, though. I did, however, put it under budget enough to cover shipping, I think((I haven't added it up perfectly yet)). Whatever. This was my attempt. Mobo + CPU((went for packaged for the price)) RAM x 2 of these(8GB of RAM) GPU HDD(yeah, only went with one big one) PSU Media drive Sound card CPU cooler Case(but really, cases are preference, they aren't quite THAT important of a decision) Total price is $979.89... $1,076.15 after shipping/tax, which would only end up 77 dollars over budget. To tell you the truth, I don't even know if half of those would work together, I was getting pissy and bored of figuring it out((because I haven't done this in over 3 years)).

LOL that blows. My first PC((which was a family machine)) was running an AMD K-6 I think. I'm pretty sure it had about..... 16-32MB of graphics memory((integrated, of course)). And either 128 or 256MB of RAM. OH, did I mention we were running Windows 98?

However, DCs aren't very gangsta, yo. Only white boys be wearing DCs. I use to. But I prefer Adios now.

Don't work on sides. Work on CORNERS. Much easier. Get corners done. Do a corner, then do the corner next to it((so you end up with a rectangular looking piece completed, and are left with only two planes you can turn without messing up your progress)). I'm having trouble getting past that, but I'll let you know I've figured out that after you get two corners done, start working on edges. You know, the middle-side boxes? Those are a lot harder to get in place late in the game, so try to get those out of the way. But yeah. Follow this page. I meant the whole post >.> I'm sorry bro, I was just saying, he was putting a lot of praise on the brushing, and it didn't seem like amazing brushing to me. I can definitely help with getting things where the need to go and do what they need to do. We're going to have to wait until AFTER this one, though. On the third one, we need to make a new topic. We can even add polls to the topics after submissions are over, and keep each competition((both phases)) in it's own topic.
