There are plenty of other things that are pointless wastes of money but no one seems to be bitching about them. Diet pills, and lawyers, for instance. Thanks for calling my opinion ignorance. It doesn't make any sense to start smoking because of stress. That's why people continue to smoke, not a reason to start. I consider role models under the same category as peer-pressure, but I guess next time I'll try to explain my opinion with a little more detail. Why would you continue because of stress if that isn't why you started to begin with? I won't lie and say I started smoking because of stress, it was entirely curiosity... However, I will smoke if I'm stressed. I'm not continuing to smoke because of stress, but I will have one if I'm stressed. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back. Besides, that doesn't mean it isn't a reason to start. No. Not if you're truly addicted. A kid we use to hang out with will pause a game every 5-10 minutes to have a cig. He's HEAVY into Halo, moderately into Rock Band, and mildly into GTA. Yet.... He has to have a cig religiously every 5-10 minutes. I've never seen him go more than 20 minutes without one unless he was sleeping. HOWEVER.... I do not believe much in addictions. Or, at least, addictions controlling people. If you didn't want to be addicted to something... You wouldn't be addicted.

Fireworks fucking blows. I'm still on Photoshop 7((have CS3, just haven't gotten around to installing it)), and it is still better than Fireworks. I use to have Fireworks MX, and it was inferior to Photoshop 7. Of course, now Adobe owns Fireworks, and the new versions have little things from Photoshop in it((so HA!)). But really, Fireworks isn't really for graphics. That isn't where it shines, from what I know.

There are legitimate medical benefits. My grandmother fought MS for 20 years & sometimes the only way she got through it was from the relief from a joint. No, legalize it & subject it to regulation & taxes. Make money off it instead of wasting money fighting it & making criminals rich in the process. The only difference between weed & alcohol is alcohol tends to make people get a little violent & it's legal. Uhh...the government is actually making loads of money off of it. That's why they won't legalize anything. Uhh, the government is spending BILLIONS((that's.... as of 2000)) on the war AGAINST drugs. Without marijuana being illegal, I'm sure that number would have to go down. Take into account that harder drugs = bigger fines, they can still manage to make money from busts. Figure in taxes and profit and all that..... Plus the fact that people would be farming it, hired workers, competitive market, trucks have to deliver it. It would definitely do a wonder to our economy. It would be practically opening up and entirely new industry.

XD, if u keep that up, that will change, trust me, i used to smoke like that but it increased Not necessarily. You can't say someone will start to smoke more. I smoke more now than I use to, but it hasn't increased in the past half year or so((I've only been smoking for a little over a year)). Depends on the cigarette. The ones we currently have are a little harsh, but they do have a nice buzz to them. And they taste good, so we aren't complaining((about the bite, at least..... The price...... )). Heh, maybe you should actually find out how much someone is smoking before throwing out numbers. Our packs((one pack....)) cost 5-6 dollars each((that's 20 cigarettes, a quarter a cigarette)).... The money you spend on McDonalds, lottery tickets, cars, gas for that matter, VIDEO GAMES, magazines, pointless medications, etc. etc.... Could go to other things. Really, what was your point? For the record, I smoke 1-3 cigarettes a day. Depends on my mood, and what we're doing((we usually like having one in the car, it's nice)). And cancer doesn't scare me. There are various ways to prevent cancer. Marijuana and modified tobacco leaves, for instance. Sometimes I smoke more when I'm smoking pot, but that's just because cigarettes hella boost your high, which makes it last longer, which conserves your expensive marijuana.
