you can do the same streaming as you do on 360 with PS3 just not through windows media centre, it has DLNA, there's tons of apps to stream to PS3, works great from my laptop. I wouldnt put it to heaps of use however since I got a HDD media player all my TV shows and movies are on that. Music is on my iPod so just plug that straight in. and if you want 360 wifi its another $100.

malwarebytes is good too. but it doesnt find it all. here example this actually happened to me a few days ago. scan with malwarebytes, nothing. scan with spybot, it finds like 7 things...it's best to use different programs. not for antivirus though, just use ONE for that, having multiple antivirus' running at the one time can cause issues.

problem is, they dun sell Zune in australia... if i import one i guess il run into all problems like power adapters etc. but i guess it can charge via USB... maybe il get a Zune next lol. but i heard they had terrible sales, is it cos its crap or just poor marketing / everyone knows about iPod. iTunes is easy to use but it's a bit of a memory hog. and the copying of music OFF iPod to PC is a pain. also exporting iTunes playlist as m3u cant be done easily (well i can since i got some software to do it). if winamps iPod support was better (last time i tried it was sorta fail) i probably wouldnt use iTunes.

yer my laptop drive had like 600MB remaining yesterday til i cleaned up some shit, it slows it down a lot. i think the good way is to have minimum 15% free space at all times for optimal performance. i never used ESET. only norton (until like 2002) then after that we had AVG free version the whole time. I suggest , go get Spybot Search&Destroy, set it up, update it, and run a full scan overnight see what it finds. It's likely there's something in your computer to make it this slow.

again you lost me with the realtime scanning thing. do you CHOOSE to scan them, or you mean just when you open the folder its slow ? if your desktop lags with it, either you have a terrible CPU , the hard drive is nearly full, or you got some spyware/virus. because, it runs FINE on all computers in my house ranging from 1.66 core 2 to 2GHz pentium 4...so im not sure what happened to you. kaspersky is shit anyway lol. it blocked ITSELF from its own update feature. I mean come on...

well im not sure if you mean realtime scanning or if you click on the folder -> scan with avg... either way, i had 1GB ram on my laptop (and 512 on one desktop and 1GB on the other) both run avg latest free version with NO problems, no lag nothing. more likely than not, it is the computer taking time to open the files on your netbook rather than the antivirus taking this time since its likely only an atom 1.6GHz, they arent particularly fast but they are good enough for most daily tasks hence the name netbook. I got 2GB on my laptop now (just installed it) still runs fine. lol chris , 1GB is actually enough for everything unless you do gaming. even i did that with my laptop, 1GB and would play MTA or San andreas, or other games (need for speed, c&c etc) it didnt lag one bit. But with a netbook, maybe upping the ram to 2GB would help.

i doubt you'll be able to find any "freeware" that does this. the internet is a torrent of information though...

Edit: The 60GB PS3 weighs about 5.1Kg's and on average a brick weighs about 2.7Kg a piece. So the PS3 is actually just under the weight of 2 bricks. Now, because the PS3 Slim is 36% lighter, if we do the math... the new PS3 slim weighs about 3.2Kg.
