The problem may be you using a v1 save file on v2 game or opposite. First you will have to find out which version of the game you got. If you got v2 it will show down in the right corner on the menu before loading a game.

You used IMG tools then, I must say it was a bad idea not to backup your files. But if you re-install your whole game, the files will be back to normal EDIT: I see that you edit your post with some more info. If you have v2 you won't be able to install mods without downgrade. If you talking about backups, a re-install will fix this problem. If you can find the backups somewhere you might try that first, google it, if not you should re-install the game. Ehm...are you using v2, savefiles, after downgrading?

Hello and welcome to the forums. I haven't seen a problem likely to your I must say. But I must ask what mods and how many did you install, because some mods may be corrupt or bugged. It might messed up your game, hard to tell. And the problem only happens when you about to load a saved game?

Yeah I kind of agree. It's just not a R* game you know. R* is known for the Grand Theft Auto games and a couple of others, that actually don't suit R*. Not that your idea is not good, but I don't think this will become a R* game.

I've had this problem before, the thing is I don't remember how to solve it. But you should try re-install SAMP and check your internett connection. That's what I can help with ATM but if I figure anything more I'll post it here.

And there is plenty of videos on youtube that shows you how to install SAMP so if you don't figure it out you should look at the videos.

nah mate it works with every car mod ive tryed, and i have reinstalled my game twice already and it doesnt seem to work but thanks anyway Have you tryed uninstall SAMI? That's actually what I meant to write in my other post but I wrote "game" instead, sorry. But you re-install the game, and it didn't do anything to help. It may be an corrupt mod, you should try to install another mod instead of this to figure that out. If that don't work you re-install the game, that's all I can help with.

Is the specified file you using "GTA San Andreas user files" because if it is, it's not that. You should store the game on your harddrive. If you installed the game with CD the game will probably be in /Programfiles/GTA San Andreas on the harddrive.

How do I do that? Well, you will first need to find a v1 save file, which can be found almost at every mod site for GTA. I will recommend www.thegtaplace.com in download section You download a save file into the folder: /MY document/GTA San Andreas user files and it's done
