  1. Haha I saw this a while ago. My first thoughts were that it looks fake as hell. It goes so brown so quickly and there's so much there. And what the hell are they filming for? Meh it's still pretty funny.
  2. Really? where? I've NEVER seen anyone refer to themselves or others like that. Unless they are actually black then it would make some sense I guess. I'm certainly not a fanboy of any kind. I HATE having conversations with fanboys about their chosen product to be a die-hard fan of. I myself have a console from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo in front of me. I also have a PC running Windows XP and will soon have a Macbook Pro running OS X. So yeah, I choose products because I like them and because I think they're good, not because I'm loyal to a single company I don't even think PS3 prices will drop before Christmas, so I was thinking I actually may as well get one straight away. I'm still not sure yet though.
  3. Sort of... your post still gets posted - that works, the query comes before the one for giving a points bonus. The 500 point bonus doesn't work though. Is that what you meant?
  4. After the farce with the ESRB adding and then removing the listing for Vice City Stories PS2 version, we now have much more definitive information which essentially confirms the title's existence. A search on playstation.com for "Vice City Stories" now reveals a PlayStation 2 port of the game, the more detailed page can be found here. Note the fact it now has a SLUS number, a unique number Sony give to each game they certify. Rockstar don't comment on "rumours and speculation", so we will have to wait for an official press release from Take Two to confirm the title, it can't be too long until we get one - more and more of the larger gaming sites have picked up on the ESRB article and have reported on it so it's pretty well known already.
  5. ROFL. "homeboys". too many gangsta videogames you've been playing. They're called fanboys
  6. Yeah it's on the 25th post of every topic actually. It's an IBStore bug - When a user's topic reaches X posts give them a bonus of X points... We have that set at when your topic you have made reaches 25 posts, you get a bonus of 500 points. The query that is run to give you these extra points doesn't have any member id in it so it fails and you get that error message. I keep meaning to fix it but always have other stuff to do, like at the moment. I'll try and get it sorted out later tonight.
  7. Oh shit yeah sort of needs an age limit here Anyway... someone here must have a hot sister surely!?
  8. Yeah but it would be nice, if like, well, people could post pics of their hot sisters for like... just to... check if they look similar... and stuff...
  9. I have the PSP and PS2 version. I wouldn't say it sucks, but IMO the graphics look worse because it seems like it's just the PSP graphics upscaled. Controls are a LOT better though, obviously with the PS2 controller. I don't really care about custom tracks or multiplayer. The frame rate is more stable too. Apart from that they're pretty much the same.
  10. PS3 UK/EUROPEAN LAUNCH CONFIRMED FOR MARCH 23 2007 It's going to cost £425 including VAT :: Conversions based on the price which is £361.70 before VAT (17.5%), mean it is approximately €549 or $712 US Dollars! Remember these are pre-tax figures though, so the actual price you pay is a lot more than that. This is for the 60GB model 20GB will come later in the year, depending on how much it is demanded March 23rd is the day we will first be able to get the console in our hands Full Press release with ALL the important details can be found at ThreeSpeech - http://threespeech.com/blog/?p=264 A shorter summary can be found at SPOnG - http://news.spong.com/article/11593 ---------------------------- So yeah apart from the fact we are utterly ripped off in the UK, it's quite exciting news. Price is the only downside it seems. I guess it's only a concern for those of you who are less well off though I'm not going to be getting one straight away, but maybe after the summer or something, I really want GTAIV for the PS3, since the PS3 version will play much better than the 360 version, or at least should do theoretically - keep your eyes peeled for an article I will be writing later on in the year detailing the differences between the PS3 and the 360 versions - It will help those of us who have both consoles make a well informed decision of which version to buy Your thoughts and comments on the announcement?
  11. I am trying to find a new ISP at the moment. Want to get my speed upgraded from 1mb to something faster.
  12. Still have to wait for TakeTwo's word on that. And anyway, this month I've decided to go with the GTA4 question in my last post - just need a few more options for it.
  13. Xbox Live is a real must to be honest. It enables you to most importantly play online with other people, you can also download game demos, arcade games, trailers, and loads of other customisable stuff like gamer pictures and dashboard themes etc. The fees vary from country to country, and the longer period you purchase for the cheaper it works out. You can buy 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year subscriptions. You can buy as many as you like at once as it all accumulates. So if you bought 3 1-year subscriptions today and added them all to your account, you'd have prepaid for Xbox Live for 3 years which is cool. Check out Xbox.com for your country to see what the fees are. You can buy online directly, or you can purchase in stores prepaid cards, these are cheaper than buying directly online. The same goes for buying Microsoft Points (used to download addon content for games, gamer pictures and themes etc. Demos and that are free though, but a lot of other things you need points to download). In the UK a 1-year subscription to Xbox Live costs £39.99 - or £34.99 if you buy a prepaid card.
  14. Wow I haven't been on my 360 for over 2 weeks now. Just signed in so I could download the new Crackdown demo, seems there's also a dashboard update. Anyone downloaded Crackdown yet? I hope it's worth it, 1.24GB just for a demo, on my slow ass 1mb connection. It's going to take 3hours+ and that's if it goes at max speed. Oh I accepted your friend request Timmy Vermicelli... if anyone else from here adds me then let me know who you are on the forums
  15. I guess most people have some kind of MP3 player nowadays. I've got a iPod nano 4GB (1st gen) which is scratched a lot after about 6 months of usage, I got it July 06. See my Apple set on Flickr to see just how scratched it is. Anybody got a Microsoft Zune yet? Or have you got something by Creative, or maybe nothing at all...
  16. Well no actually since most of it contains nudity *Is also drinking coke*
  17. 4chan's cool once you realise how everything goes down there. Good old school bulletin board system really. The image boards are the best. I normally hang around in /s/... yeah and obviously /b/, /gif/ has some pretty funny stuff sometimes, /hr/ sometimes has some nice high res women posted Weird though because I'm not really into the whole anime/manga thing which the majority seem to like there.
  18. @Chalk: Yeah people kept on netsend'ing messages last year at my school, was pretty funny when it first happened but no one does anymore. One of my friends found a security flaw in that we are able to access the Search feature in Windows XP which happens to contain the Address Book for MS Outlook, which of course contains all the staff and pupil school email addresses. So we were able to send emails appearing from admin to anyone in the school. Tried getting some more stuff sent to my phone today. xtinax tried to send me a picture but the transfer failed, then later on some random girl who I actually heard say to her friend "omg look at this someone is called The Pope". She tried sending me a photo named "ur_naked.jpg" - no idea what it actually was because I accidentally pressed cancel instead of accept But yeah maybe I'll have more interesting pics to show you in the next few days.
  19. Wow, seriously this easter egg has been around ever since they introduced google calculater! It's pretty cool they did that though. I like how Google think.
  20. Yeah Hard-Fi are fairly big in England but not really that big. AFAIK I'm not related to anyone famous, ever, and no, I'm not related to Zara Phillips (wikipedia) even though she has roots with where I live.
  21. It's not that "what's your favourite GTA" is too simple a question it's just it's been done so much now people are tired of voting. I guess the best protagonist poll might be a good one, as would "Which feature would you most like to see in GTA4?". Could we get a list of options for that? So far we've got: Online play Player Creation - I assume like in Saints Row? Weapon customisation - how would this work though? We need some more features which have never been seen before in a GTA game. It's likely every new feature in San Andreas and in both PSP games will be in GTA4 in some way, so no need to put any of those features. I would look through the GTA4 wishlist topic except it's a bit big just for a quick glance.
  22. Bloody hell Switch, spell check your post before actually posting it! Or get Firefox 2 or something with built in spell check. I fixed them all for you anyway So welcome back! You planning on staying around or still busy with life?
  23. What about now? (I'm actually going now)
