Haha thanks for that Jace, updated the post. Look at how the prices fluctuate between the $ and the €... interesting how they've worked that one out.
-
I just finished a session of Modern Warfare 2 and noticed that the PC version of GTA IV, via Steam, currently has 75% off the retail price. That's £19.99 reduced to £4.99 ($7.49, €7.49). Now is definitely the perfect opportunity to pick up a copy in time for Christmas if you don't already own it! Be quick though, the offer ends in just under a couple of days time (4PM GMT) Christmas Eve. Check out the offer within the Store section of your Steam client, or head over to this page. Also perhaps of interest is the "Rockstar Collection" which has 33% off until 3rd January, bringing the price down to £33.49 ($46.89, €40.19). The collection includes all these excellent games.

Haha well fuck that No, just look around until you see a really awesome dude... chances are it's me

Oh I can see now where this is going, sounds like we're all gonna have a lot of fun there I kid I kid. As for the meeting up part... yeah we might not immediately recognise each other at first... but we can just exchange numbers before hand and just phone each other when we arrive and explain whereabouts we are... simple.
-
I'll be self employed at the time so as long as I don't have a big project to do that week it should be fine for me.
-
Gerard it would be Euston for me if I'm coming from Stafford... which I most probably will be. But as I said it's piss easy to get the tube to another station. So whatever station is most convenient for the most people we'll meet at or something.
-
Paddington or Euston depending on where you're coming from... usually. But it's easy to get a tube from one to the other.

Sucks if you're under 18 then. We should go to a pub to drink and also so I can rape everyone at pool and stuff.

Bug when trying to view a topic
Chris replied to Damjan's topic in Suggestions / Help / Bug Reporting
Clicking the topic name should take you to the first post in the topic you haven't read yet. i.e. if there have been 3 new replies since you last read the topic, you'll be taken to the first of those 3. Clicking the arrow or the time will take you to the most recent post, regardless of what you have or haven't already seen in the topic. Both links appear to be working fine for me... IIRC topics you've read are stored as a cookie and kept for 7 days. So if you login/logout every day, use a different browser, or a different computer, then it won't remember what you have and haven't read. Thus you'll always be taken to the first page of a topic as it will assume you haven't read it. -
Londinium. Plenty of stuff to do there during the day (and perhaps evening?) to keep ourselves amused.

Audacity (also free) can do this. So can Adobe Audition.

You're saying that both Social Club and Windows Live are unable to connect? Sounds like you have a firewall blocking certain programs or ports. You're using a firewall?
-
How do you become infected was my point? Is it getting nuked? I vaguely recall unlocking an emblem saying infected or whatever...
-
Only been nuked once. Question though: Any of you guys getting challenges which aren't actually on the challenge list? For example, couple of nights ago I got shot at and crouched down behind a barrel, the guy was running at me and I couldn't see him. Suddenly he runs right past me so I guess he didn't see me either, I quickly turned around and knifed him in the back. A challenge appears on screen which reads: "Get hurt by an enemy then stab him in the back with a knife" It wrapped on to 2 lines lol... looked through the challenges later and it's nowhere to be found. Another one I got was: "Get killed by an infected" Any ideas?

I'm fairly certain the only thing I can say is I'm truly 100% English... you'd have to go so far back in my family tree to find any other heritage that the amount of time passed (literally hundreds of years) negates all of it. So yeah... how boring is that

A train would likely be the best choice of transport then, for everyone actually. We could all meet at a train station just to make things easier.
-
I think you are the only one as no one else has complained of this. Is that IE7 or 8 you're using?

Rockstar is hosting another Ballad of Gay Tony multiplayer session on Xbox LIVE today from 4PM - 7PM Eastern Time (9PM - 12AM GMT). Full details of how to join the session can be found on the Rockstar News Wire If you're unable to join at that time then you can still watch all the action on a live stream on the Social Club!
-
I'll either be around Gloucester or Stafford depending on time of year. Most likely Stafford. But that's fine for a train to somewhere south. Bear, and you're the only UK female here! Perhaps if anyone coming has a gf (or sister? lol) they can bring her along to prevent a sausage fest. Bear does a good job of keeping this from happening here, I'm sure she'd appreciate a little help

Reading also good, well close to London anyway
-
Okay just split this topic off from the big community thread, updated the first post explaining that. London has already been suggested as a location. I'm fine with that since there's plenty we can do down there, even if the underage folks among you attend. However, it might not be good for everyone - do feel free to suggest an alternative location if London doesn't suit you. We'll basically choose the location suited to the most people. Once a location is decided we can start planning it a bit more.

Agreed Matt, but we already condensed them, formerly having an award for each individual game. I think keeping an award for lesser active parts of the forums such as the classic GTA's will at least help maintain a slight interest there. Gerard said everything else there is to say...
