What mods are you looking for? Only script mods are specialised for xbox. All other PC mods work on xbox, too. You know how to mod the game for console, right?

@JD - Vertical Bird @wheelman - I forgot he name, but it's the mission where you have to steal a tanker on SF highway. You need to get close to the truck, and then Caesar will jump onto the truck and hijack it.

Unfortunately, backup can be used only to revert original files if mods have smaller mistakes like missing textures or something like that. If mods crash your game, only the whole original gta3.img will help.

Well, they're made for PC version, but you can use them on other consoles. However, it's very hard to mod PS2 or Xbox games, cause you'll have to be an experienced modder to do something like that.

Erm, is that the road crossing the river that leads into a lake somewhere in badlands? I know there's one old dirt track that leads a bit under water and then back on surface again. I've lost a few vehicles there. Unfortunately, I haven't got any screens to post right now. (they're on my other comp )

You'll have to reinstall the game if you haven't made a backup of files in gta3.img. Probably the best thing to do is to backup the whole original gta3.img. That's what I did. That way you could quickly disable all mods and find a backup of a specific file that's causing problems in-game.

Nah, you can't lock the camera angle. Anyway, I don't think it's so necessary to have it locked. All you need to know is that you mustn't drive over 50 (or it'll derail) and that the train takes about 300m to stop.

Ah, sry. I did the same thing and never lost a single vehicle that way. Probably some mods are causing probs.

You can store unlimited amounts of vehicles in any garage you want if you do a little trick. Park the vehicle you want to store in front of a garage. The doors of course won't open and you'll recieve a message that the garage is full. So get out of the vehicle. The doors will open when you get in front of a garage on foot. When the doors completely open, get into a vehicle and drive it into a garage as fast as you can, before the doors close. And you have stored additional vehicle(s) into a garage! You can do this trick on every garage in SA and store as many vehicles as you want in them. And the additional vehicles won't get deleted.

Thanks , but no need for that. I think that it's not the only damaged file on the CD, so this might not help. I'll try to get another CD2 from my friend.

I have a very similar PC configuration and play on the same settings as you do and those are probably mods causing problems. I've also put in lots of mods and the game wouldn't run properly with the frame limiter on. When I turned it off it got from 60-160fps. Try using Fraps for benchmarking and you might see what the problem is.
