Did anyone here try that mod for vice city, in the mission scripts downloads. That was kinda cool how it made the cars need gas. don't fill up the cars much becuase; well you know... (a car does'nt last that long) but on that note, not every car you jack has got a full tank either I also liked how the car doors are locked and you have to press handbrake to unlock it to let passangers in That stops the cops from opening the door you gettin busted. That mod is good example of some things that should be in gta. for those of you who have'nt tryed it yet. download it. Its easy to install. all you have to do is take the file "main" out of the data folder and insert the new "main" and also do the same for the american.txt. then just start a new game.

I had this probly once with age of empires age of kings. I just bought it and came home, installed it. then clicked play game. Then the computer went *beep!* then a message poped up saying there was some error. I could'nt play it, but I knew the cd was'nt defective. So I saved all the stuff I needed from my computer onto some cd-r discs, then I reformatted my hardrive. Then I installed it again and the game worked and the error was gone. I have no idea what caused it, but it probly was something else installed on my computer that conflicted with the game causeing it to have a error, proply was a demo I had installed from Cnet. So you could try that, it;s a bit extreme but it might work.

Thats probly were that whole "big brother" theory comes in. becuase everything you buy with cards is recordable. Not to mention big box stores shoving thier own brand of cards down our throats. so they steal our gold, gave us paper tokens, now that want to take away the tokens too. Not to mention also those RFID tags they put in products now to tract you. The monatary system is actual a scam, thats why the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. This is my understanding of how the monatary system functions, particulary with the federal reserve. First off all money in circulation is on loan thats right the money in your pocket is borrowed. The federal reserve sets a interest rate. Banks then call the feds and ask to borrow a certain amount of cash at that interest rate. The banks then use this money and loan it out to people like us, people who want loans on credit cards or morgages for property. So how do the banks make money if the money is fake-----> with real money. property, gold bullion, and vaulables. Becuase a certain point the feds will increase the rates and the money in circulation will decrease. Then people lose their jobs and people miss payments on their morgages and such. Then the banks throw out their rakes and take people's real valuableslike your house which has real value. Then the banks use thies propeties as collateral for the feds and borrow more cash again and do it over and over. so the poor keep gettin poorer and the rich keep gettin more and more power, special big corperations. So those cards are just one last step for them to get a final strangle hold on us. Not sure if it set up like this from the begining, but banks have diffently tooken advantage of it. I Think it depends on what year they base it on. But I would like to keep cars like the oceanic and sabre. (just better detail) I like the sound of the engine. wish they would get rid of that greenwood, dunno always hated that car after playing San andreas

ya spaz I've heard you go on and on about how it would be alot a work to make a pc or console version. but the psp thing, your just saying that becuase you have one, right. so you don't care. well I'm not gonna be sucker and pay $300 for one plus the price of the game. Thats just a money grab.rockstar probly set up a marketing deal with sony to boost sales of psp, for those out there willing to get sucked in. I agree with you 100%, this is something I pondered over a couple of times. On how gta3 and vice city had a "feel" to it. Sa has a "feel" to it you really can't put words to. I would like in the next gta if they make a ghetto, make it GHETTO. The slums in Sa were;nt convincing enough to make me feel like I was in ghetto. a good example of this would be in vice on that one island with abondaned mansions on it that felt like a ghetto about the gas tanks, game developers will probly put this in driving games whether you like it or not. The game Mafia has gas tanks in the cars if you did'nt know, just was'nt very noticable.

They should remake it a bit and launch a pc version. Don't you think it would deteriate the game's storyline if some of us missed out on it. I voted no on the ps2 idea, becuase its going to be obslete soon

In vice city you could buy properties and those properties had missions In San Andreas the properties were all just safe houses with no missions. I think thats going from good to bad, in which vice's properties were fun to buy, and Andreas were not. thats not a improvement thats a setback. Can't think of anything else .

I can see just fine. The glitch would be that if you go up on the roof jump over the side onto the balcony underneath and then you can walk threw the wall. whats so hard to figure out about that

I don't know anything about that becuase I don't have a psp. But can I ask you a question I see that your avatar is the gta long night logo. did you actual get that Mod to work becuase whenever install long night then click on gta-ln.exe it will show the logo then get a "no cd error" or if I click on gta-vc.exe it will work fine until I click new game then it will crash. If you got this to work think you could tell how you did it.

I get this problem too sometimes. or the car won't appear at all, or the game will crash upon loading. Its probly becuase the car itself is screwed. which in this case means the car should be removed from the host site. but they can't always be on the ball if the mods their hosting work. I don't use vccm or whatever its called but if you did uninstall the car mod but your still having errors maby its becuase the other installs were'nt put back to normal like the handling.cfg deafault.ide and carcols.dat .

I think this is a bug: If I change the skin to caliskinV6.2 and go to "my controls" then to edit my signature it will go to "sorry the page your looking for is unavaible or doesn'nt exist etc.. on our server or something". sorry for the bad typos

probly the best upgrades gta should get would be (As said before)*A gas tank(which would make there being a point having gas stations in the game, also have ped in cars actual drive in the gas fill up and use it *a more realistic cop system, so cops will try to pull you over(minor crimes) and give a ticket instead of beating you. or driving like maniacs to pull you over and they end killing pedestrians and smashing stuff. No more infinite cops and random cops. becuase it sucks when you kill some then turn around and more are spawned outta thin air right behind you. It might be hidden adverstisement but it would be nice to have real names of cars and stores. it also could add extra $$$ to rockstar, so they could lower the price of their next gta games becuase paying 80 dollars for a game is kinda ridiculas special after it adds up with all your other games you buy. Can't imagine how much the next platform games will cost but they seem to get more and more pricy becuase it takes more work to make. meaning they have to hire more programmers more labour etc.. p.s is this gtawish list actualy gettin mailed to rockstar?

FYI: Long night is the total conversion mod that turns vice city into more of a resident evil style game. if your reading this and have gotten long night to work please help me. I downloaded gta long night total conversion mod and installed it right but when I click the gta-ln application to start it, it just shows the logo and video then says insert cd. when i click on the gta-vc application it plays allright until you click new game then it crashes. does anyone know how to fix this problem? I really want to play this. fighting hellfish's website is down and all the other forums on the net are no help. i've seen other people post this on other furoms but nobody gets a straight answere how to fix this. *nobody knows well. oh well just another download to waste my time and bandwidth

chris, you how when you upload something and it shows that bar at the bottom of the screen with the green bars in it. well when i upload on imagelodge it has no loading bar. i can't attach a picture example for some reason on this forum so you'll have to use your imagination what I mean. this probly means it is'nt loading (no sh* sherlock) lol

"free roaming" in games is actualy refered to non-linear game play. just so you know. Ya I prefer non-linear games like gta. I can't wait for ps3 to come out becuase I bet they'll make some kick ass free roaming games
