Where do you think Hell is(assuming you believed in Hell)? How would down be considered up if the Earth was flat??? May I ask how you ever came to the conclusion that hell is in the same world as we live in? Indeed, it does say decend (cause that's the translation from hebrew to greek to latin to english.. yeah). But that was written down by humans who in those days still believed that the earth was flat and that our flat world had a roof above which there was water. The Olympic myths and stuff actually bare quite some resemblance to the Christian religion (old testament). Dis ruled the underworld. In Christianity it's satan. Zeus was the god of the 'living world' and about the same can be said for Christianity. But then one can be saved and enter heaven. Of course, you can't compare everything. But greek mythology does have a story that looks quite a lot like adam and eve in Genesis. tl;dr decending to hell has just been translaten that way. Hell is (IMO) in another world.

Those parents need some advice; why would you show your kids such images if they don't understand much about it? Do not underestimate kids. I used to know quite some kids (5 to 6 years old) who did know about sex and seemed pretty happy with the thought of raming their dick into a girls vagina. Also, those parents are fools. Mine still treat me like a kid actually... They've got the "all violence is bad" policy and therefor don't aprove of any violence in movies. So they actually don't aprove of any movie.. But they're losening up, slowly.

Haha, Yeah, I guess. Ah, they tend to think I'm a person who looks young for his age so buying games (and specific drinks) haven't been real problems. Kicks-ass actually. Counting months for GTA PC release. Today has been a pretty *shitty* day actually. Bad sleep. Exams. School wasn't great. Boredom. And all of that just adds up. Got quite some money (as I actually already expected). What I didn't expect was the amount of cards I received and the amount of people who somehow knew it was my birthday IRL (as I never say it is). Pretty nice though, actually. Edit: Ah, Silberio. Those were the days. Seems like a long time ago. That guy back yet? He left when I had left. Something with him losing his Internet I believe.

Uhm, I get something like 30 to 40% less frames with DX10 than with DX9 in Crysis. There is a quite noticeable difference. Shaders just have to be set on high, makes everything look much better. Anyway, so you're not the anti-vista guy you were before, right

Infact, with SP1 games actually can gain a frame. You're not going to notice that single frame, but at least you won't lose. And if you do it'll not be more than 3 frames. Haven't any problems with it thusfar. DX10 does has a slight performance impact, but that is to be expected of course. Biggest problem with Vista must have been drivers, I'm pretty sure of that. And as a side note: You've got a 3850, right? Well, you could OC that to the level of the 3870, or wouldn't that be possible? I don't know if it's just a clock en PCB lay-out difference or if it really is very different. But personally I would OC the 3850 with ATitool and then buy a 4xxx card next month (since you won't ever want an nVidia card, I think). OF course, the new serie will be a bit more expensive, but it'll probably be worth it though.

And now the opinion of the guy who hasn't picked a side when it comes down to the 2 consoles: 360 controller is superior. Enough console bashing. Just state why that thing is worth it or not.

For the short time I played, it didn't leave a lasting impression. It was just another game and it happend to be GTA. It's a very good game, don't get me wrong. But nothing very spacial to be honest

Bullied? I was when I was 5 years old. The moment we moved to the Netherlands. One of the reasons I've always hated this country. But that was 10 years ago anyway. To be honest I'm a real ass now. Tend to always find fault with everyone. Annoying people just for the sake of my own enjoyment and I'm rather harsh in my opinions. I don't feel bad about it though. At least now people shut up when you tell them to. I'm starting to interact much more with other people in a friendly way, but I actually don't really like it. I'm faking my feelings (or at least what I show) far too much, and I've never wanted to do that. I like limiting my interactions with other to just a small group. Much easier, much more fun. And we do. Group of 6 and it is much fun. Interactions with girls I actually like doesn't really go far though..

I'd like an avatar with my name in it. I'd like it to have the COD 4 Mordern Warfare look, with the radar colors and stuff. Well, just try something nice.

The thing is plastic, how can that ever feel luxurious? I don't have any of the two consoles. Instead, I went for PC. I've played GTA IV on the PS3 (haven't tried it out on the 360 yet) and it once again struck me how annoying the triggers are. I like the 360 gamepad much more. Feels more natural in my opinion. It's absolutely shitty that MS came up with a console that overheats (console it self is great though.) If I'm not mistaken the Elite version uses another mobo and has a shrunk CPU what should make it run cooler though. I'm sort of sick of this next gen bullshit. It's just a new colsole with more power than the previous generation. We weren't calling the PS2 and Xbox next gen. Why call these consoles next gen then? 360 - 720p. PS3 - 1080i. A normal Xbox just doesn't get the cabled for HD with it. Doesn't mean it can't produce HD content. 1-You can hardly get a PC for the price of a 360. You'll need to tripple the amount. And PS3 times 4 for high-end. 2- Knowing MS, they'll try getting exclusive content for Vista only or something like that. 3- Platform games don't like PC. Consoles are the best for that. Source? 1- No idea.. 2- I guess 3- None of the consoles crash, they freeze. And the PS3 had and maybe still has more problems with GTA IV than the 360. 4- Like Ric said, how can a 1,5 year old console be classic? Other then that, it's not even an argument to buy a console for. 5- GTA IV's gameplay didn't really strike me to be honest. Sure, it's very nice and stuff and a great game. But wasn't anything revolutionary. Just a very good game, that's all. For reviews, there is no difference between a 9,5 and a 10. There is no game without flaws. Doesn't make sense. Clarify. Anyway, I don't think buying a console just for IV is worth it. Never the less, I've actually thought of buying the PS3 + GTA IV bundle pack because then I'll have a blu-ray player in my room and the chances are that I'll buy it pretty soon. To think of it, if I do I'll get it without IV. I want a PC version, not a console one.

Somehow had the idea that it was slower. Well, I guess this plan hasn't turned out as it should have done, since it's pretty obvious that nVidia's cards perform better. But anyway, 64 seems to be the real number. That times 5 gives the known 320 the R600 claimed to have. That's also the reason ATi calles them units Just count. 8 x 8. Each having 4 "side shaders" (got no idea what the official name is). Quote is from the Inquirer. And I know that they aren't very trustworthy, but I read this somewhere else too. But this is the best article I could google up. R660 works about the same. Not any major difference. About this: That isn't actually ATi's fault. Scaling for the X2 is pretty bad in some games. nVidia cards usually do better in this because they're better optimized (TWIMTBP). I should have said that in game ATi cards don't always work all that great. On average SLI scales better than CF. That's just so and you can't deny that (Tri-SLI is made of fail though. Don't know why nVidia ever came up with that).

|Chart sucks. Tri SLI makes games run slower, not faster. 8800 Ultra is a bit slower than shown. Other then that the price of the products are way off. Cards to the left are more expensive on average, cards to the right much less (and then I'm talking about 900 instad of 1500) Memory: correct. Stream processors: Not. ATi's stream processors suck. Only 1 every five has all instructions. Other then that, it's clocked much lower. Higher core clock: You can't compare clocks from different chips. No way a Pentium D at 2,8 GHz would be faster than a Core 2 Duo with one core disabled at 1,8 GHz. Same for this. ATi cards just suck in some games. Lost Planet being one of them. 9600 GT is faster than a 3870 X2 in crossfire at higher reso's then. So that's like 1 GPU vs 4 GPU's. I find the 3870 X2 a rather 'sad' card. ATi had to make a dual chip card in order to be able to rival the 8800 ULTRA. Looking forward to R700 vs GT200. I'm quite sure nVidia will prevail this round, again. I do hate their prices for their flag ship. Won't easily get them in Europe for under the 750 USD. But if the GT200 meets my expectations, I'm sure to get one. @Chris82: First benchmarks I've seen with the 3870 being faster.

Yeah, we only pay 50% more than the people in the US have to do to get the console. 2) I think al new 360's have a new mobo and CPU built in to it. Not faster, but it uses less energy thus making it cooler.

Dude, you can't make a fact. A fact is a fact. Simple as that. There will be a PC version. It will be released in about 6 months time. Mark my words. And if Rockstar decides not to make one, they're idiots (which they aren't, so they will make a PC version). And everything will be better and stuff. Roughly 90% of the people who have a computer have some cheap and weak system wieh onboard Intel crap.

Those raptors cost a bomb and two of those GTX's kick ass. What's your 3dMark06 score?
