Depends, I think Google means they want to advertise with AdSense ads, not ads about Google themselves.

Certainly, ads are/will be an annoyance. But if we end up with them, I'd rather something small and discreet then pop-ups and animations, etc.

Well, I think I would rather Google ads then them annoying ones from other search engines and websites. At least Google's ad's are discreet.

Found this by accident today, just interests me as something that may result in maybe ads from Google in GTA4. It's a long shot, but it's possible: ...Source... This is only speculation on my part, Google haven't said they are going to do this yet, but it is expected that will. And with Google wanting to move there ads to games, and GTA4 having the ability to download content of the net for extra gaming adventures, chances are GTA4 will be a game we will more then likely see these ads expanded into. My thoughts are it will be like Google Ads on website, it will read the page or screen and get key words that will then generate a list or boxes of links to related websites/products. With GTA4 having download-able content, chances are that is how it will work, either that or Google will sell space to third party business's/websites.

Yeah, it may have been around for a fair while, but I only just heard about it, so that makes it interesting again, well for me anyway . Google.com has a lot of Eggs, like the 4 extra fake languages, like Haxor and Pigs Latin, as well as there pages for Mac & Linux. As well as some other rather funny pages. haha

Err...no... Polls about the location of GTA4 are too open-ended, so there a no go for the moment. Maybe a poll for which "Which is your favourite GTA game?" or "Which is your favourite GTA setting to date?". There my idea for the moment anyway. We just need a poll to see peoples thought of the GTA series so far. For the average persons who doesn't use their PC that much, it may be the case. But everything is more complex these days, be it PC's, Macs, T.V.'s, anything.

Yeah, there a large number of modifications that have them scripted in, or theres tools you can use to view the models too.

Mine was in the staff forum, so I can't actually tell you what it was about, but yeah thats where my first post was. And a few posts after that. Only started posting in the actual public forums as of late.
