  1. Same, at first you're like woah what the hell is that but then if you look for a while it's nothing. Edit: I messed up on the thing and only quoted Shifty's post, Shifty was agreeing with TVG and so do I.
  2. Yeah the trams were fun, I would use the jetpack cheat, get on top of one and start killing everyone. They should put some kind of train system in GTA4 and maybe more missions to do with them like the Green Goo mission in San Andreas.
  3. I hope Avery, Umberto, Diaz, Rosenberg, Kent Paul, Phil, "Big" Mitch Baker, Love Fist (I am not sure, but I don't think they were in Vice City at the time so probably not) and I can't think of anymore people right now to return. I don't know why but I just have a feeling that R* is somehow going to fit the Mafia into this, they always have haven't they? (Not really a question)
  4. Yeah nice point there Vic, I actually forgot for a minute that Lance was setting you up. I am kinda confused though, was Lance setting you up from the beginning or after Sonny called him and stuff? Getting back on topic, that boat in the backround does look like the Malibu, but after you look at it closely you can see the outline of a regular boat (with neon lights).
  5. Man, what are you talking about? It's right there, look right through the fence or even above it and you will see it.
  6. Cool info. Glad to know that Phoenix and Stinger are back. Even though it is an unwise decision to jet ski in a thunderstorm most people will do it to see Vic flip over (if the waves actually have a big effect) and possibly die. If they have custom weapons, it's going to be awesome, not too much though because it will become too much like Hitman: Blood Money.
  7. -His badass attitude -He didn't take crap from nothing -He was a psychotic killer -His big sense of humour -His non-requirement of food (like TVG said) -He took over Vice City starting with scratch What can't you not like about Tommy?
  8. I have to agree with Righty, it's a very cool idea but I don't think R* would do something like that. I know they are somehow going to expand Vice City but I don't think it will be another island that was somehow destroyed... But what do I know, if it does happen you can rub it in all us non-believers' faces'. Until then it is all a mystery to me.
  9. It's not just a fence, if you look closely you could see it through the fence and even a little above the fence. It looks very similar and I think it just might be a Vortex. Nice find by the way Orginal GTA Master, never would've found it myself.
  10. That's a pretty cool idea and maybe there would be a little mini-game to do it succesfully. Like if you want to do it silently so he/she won't notice (you have taken there money) you have to press certain buttons at a certain time or they will see you and start to scream, or you can just aim a gun at them and take the money not caring who sees it.
  11. I read the topic with the scanned pages of the GamePro magazine and it says that the Vance Brothers already own a mansion. Maybe you have to kill someone for it but it never says anything about killing some one for it in the first four mission descriptions so they must have somehow already had it from the start so they must have some different mansion than the one Diaz has. Maybe it is on the side of Vice City we have never seen before and was somehow destroyed before or in 1986. If you guys are interested,(I am sure you are) go to the topic that says VCS magazine article with pics (great topic by the way). It matters on how you're saying it: whether we would play as Tommy again or just see him. If you mean playing as him, yeah I agree R* would not do the same thing twice. But if you mean just seeing him, then I disagree because if it were set after 86' then it would be illogical to not see (maybe work for him) or even hear about the man who controls the entire city. People wouldn't get bored of him then because they aren't playing as him, and a lot of people would be extremely happy to see Tommy again (including yourself and myself). But I can live.
  12. My top 3 favourite features I am looking forward to the most are: 1. Jetskis- They are going to kick ass! 2. Hurricanes- Just think of the pleasure of watching people die twist this way and that to their death (possibly you too...). Watching tree's rip out of the ground, cars flying and planes falling will be awesome too. 3. Bigger City- Just can't wait to explore Vice City all over again, and try out the many new things.
  13. So what if he dies two years later, have you guys not read the news topic where tilly gave us his crazy idea (that just might be true) that without Vic there would be no Vice City (he saved it some how) thus enabling Tommy to take it over again? I might have confused you guys but just go to the newest news about VCS and you'll see what I mean. So if Vic did save the city in a way his death would not be invain. Just like Trekman said: Tommy avenged Vic's death by killing the man responsible but also killing Lance in the process; I'd say that's pretty fair. Oh yeah you guys should thank Chris for translating tilly's idea into English.
  14. That is some crazy info, now I am even more pscyched about VCS more than ever. So many cool new stuff, the missions look really good, and those were just the first 3 and a half. I can't wait for it to come out, I am either going to buy a PSP or see if it comes out for Xbox (I don't have a PS2), and if it doesn't I am just going to have to steal a PS2! That is how pscyched I am about Vice City Stories.
  15. I agree with everyone who says only 1 main character. It would be weird playing as both and would mess up the game.
  16. Yeah good point tilly, and thanks Chris for translating it into English so to speak. Vic will probably take over the city or something like that but the sad thing is he dies later on. I hope this doesn't happen to all the other protaganists because we never do find out what happens to them after the storyline finishes. They probably do live though or it would be kind of stupid and disappointing.
  17. It is just hard to tell now but wait until the game comes out and you will see that he isn't chubby (I hope). Just look at what happened to Toni; remember in GTA3 he was really fat and then in LCS 3 years ago he was normal. Toni was really fat in GTA3 and he lost a lot of weight when we went back 3 years and Vic wasn't even that fat in VC so imagine what 2 years back will do to him. Getting back on topic, Vic Vance is going to be an awesome character, the only thing I don't like is that he's going to die and you have to work beside Lance who backstabs Tommy in VC two years later. But it's all good, I can't wait to play VCS and see all the things leading to Vice City. Vic Vance is going to be a fine addition to the list of protaginists in the GTA3 era. P.S. Now that Vic is going to be bald and has a goatee he sort of reminds me of 8 Ball don't you guys think so?
  18. I actually got some sleep and when I saw the update a couple of minutes ago I was suddenly hit with a lot of excitement. It is going to be cool playing as Vic and I knew there were going to be Jetskis (I put it on the wishlist for GTA4 and they came sooner than I expected.Oh and KP since there is no character customization so I don't think Vic will have more hair than he does now (bald). There's a ton of new stuff like hurricanes, you can swim and there is a ferris wheel that you can ride! I hope maybe there will be rollercoasters in it too (probably not or they would have mentioned it) but if not they should put them in GTA4). There's going to be a new cars, new music and everything. I am really psyched about Vice City Stories, it's gonna kick ass! This game does look like its going to be the best one yet but in a year and 3 months GTA4 is going to come out and I can't even imagine what new stuff it's gonna have!
  19. I think that it is going to be better then LCS (which I have not had the pleasure of playing on account I have an Xbox). I hope maybe LCS comes out for Xbox and if it does, then VCS will probably do it too. A lot of people are looking forward to VCS (you can see on the poll on the site) as am I. I like VC's setting, cars, missions, style, vibe, atmosphere and basically everything about it and that's what made it my favaourite GTA game (plus Tommy was the best character ever) and you're asking me if I am excited about the second game set in VC, and do I think it's going to be better than LCS? Hell yeah!
  20. Nice fake pics man. I would make some of my own but I don't know how to so I'm going to step back and hopefully more people will make more fake pics.
  21. I wonder when other magazines are going to get all this info. I can't wait to read about it, I hope there are some Australian GTA fans who have subcribed to GamePro (and are GTA forum members) and are up right now reading about it and then they come here and see the big news and tell us the juicy info.
  22. Yeah Chris, you can't tell us stuff like this and make us wait until tomorrow to find out more! Just stay up and great find by the way. I agree with the other Chris that it is probably going to be set in 1983 (3 years before the original VC like LCS 3 years before GTA3). Keep giving us the info!
  23. Even though GTA4 is going to be a new era and is gonna have everything new and stuff so you'll play as a new character but that doesn't mean other characters from previous GTA games won't make cameos. From the 4 protaganists I would like for Tommy to return.
  24. Now that we know VCS is going to be set somewhere in the late 70s' or early 80s' Tommy is defininetly not be in it on account he was in jail at the time. But Scythe, when we were talking about seeing Tommy again, we didn't mean playing as him, just seeing him and maybe working for him or something like that. I am disappointed now for sure we are not going to see Tommy in VCS (maybe in another GTA game) but I am still excited about it!
  25. From the box art and I agree with Chris that VCS will probably be somewhere in the late 70s' or the early 90s'. But before the box art was released I hoped that it would have the same vibe VC did and being set in the late 70s' or 80s' has a big impact on that.
