Just asking but how did you get 1974 since no GTA game is set in 1980 or 1968. I understand with 80' and 10' (not 2010 that much since GTA3 is set somewhere in 2000-2002 or something like that) but if we follow your theory it would be mean that there would have to be a game 6 years before or after 1974 so VCS would be set in it. Cool theory by the way. I think you are pretty close to R*'s way of setting which years the GTA games would be set in. So you didn't like playing VC and SA? It was cool playing in the past and exploring the different cultures and fashions of that era. It was fun playing in the '80s and '90s but I agree that it would be cool if VCS will be set set close to the present like somewhere 2000+

True, every story has a "bad guy" and Sonny was the bad guy in this story. Without someone to hate there would be no point of playing, no point of killing anyone for revenge. Imagine a GTA game all happy. So yeah, without Sonny there would be no VC as Tommy would be realeased from jail later and never be sent down to Vice City. But you still gotta hate him.

I hated Lance Vance since at first he helped you and then he screwed you over by going on Sonny's side. It was still fun killing him though. I also hated Sonny and Auntie Poulet for obvious reasons.

But wasn't GTA3 set in 2001 and LCS was in 1998. Making the PSP game earlier so if we follow that same pattern then VCS will be before VC. Unless you are saying that one of the games has to be before present time and one game has to be in present time not mattering which one (PS2, Xbox,PC or PSP). If you are saying it like that then yeah I agree with you VCS should be set in 2005+.

You should be able to use melee weapons to as you ride along and use or baseball bat to smash mailboxes or cut people's head's off with a chainsaw! What's a carpet bomb? Sounds kind of cool. Anyway I hope R* goes really creative with their weapons, like a variety of assault rifles (and snipers) and you could go to different kinds of stores to by creative weapons (like in VC where you could go to Screw This and buy hardware things). It would be cool if some girls had pepper spray and when you killed them you could get it and use it (it would be fun to spray it at people and run away).

Obviously realistic. You want R* to be making the same old games they have been making for a long time. It is based on real life so why should they change it and like tilly said, you want fantasy go play kingdom hearts or something else.

There is one behind a safehouse in Chinatown. It is in an alley and you have to go all the way (you will also see a go-kart). Or like evabin said, go look for SA weapon locations, I think someone posted a map of it somewhere I just can't remember where. Oh and other weapons that aren't available in Ammunation are Minigun, Flamethrower, RPG and Heat Seeking Rocket Launcher (all found in Toreno's ranch in LV). I was playing GTA3 from the beginnning again a while ago and I think I heard the people pronounce Salvotre's first name 2 different ways and Toni's last name 2 different ways. Can someone please tell me how to pronounce the names properly: is it Salvator or pronounced Salavatory (maybe it's an Italian to English thing but I don't know) and Toni Sipriani or pronounced Kipriani? Yeah Green Day isn't half bad but I only like a few of their songs like American Idiot, Holiday and something else I can't think of it right now. So they aren't the greatest but not the worst so 7 is what I give Green Day.

A crossbow would be awesome Jace (cool idea). I agree with a lot of people that they should have those hardware shops they had in Vice City, it was a really cool feature and I wonder why they didn't put it in San Andreas. It would be cool just walking on the street, walking by people and picking up different stuff and killing off everyone one by one. Just like picking up a branch and stabbing someone in the neck and then picking up a rock and throwing it into the windshield of car with a person inside and smoking them right in the face. Like somone said, they should make all the guns in Ammunation available to buy (like why show them if you're not allowed to buy them?). If all turns out well I am really going to love GTA4.

LOL. The first time I saw the screen up close I could tell it was a radar but when I was looking at the picture in this thread it look so much like a bowl of cereal I thought how did that get here. The screen looks really weird and horrible, although I can't wait until R* release the first screens of GTA4.

I think someone in the GTASA General Discussion mentioned something about hearing CJ on the radio in VC (on KCHAT or something like that, just listen maybe you'll hear him). It's a pretty old thread but go look and see if you can find it. I am not even sure if he was lying or telling the truth but I can't tell because my VC CD got broken. :'(

I agree that there should be swimming included in the next game because like everyone said, in GTA3 and VC it would be scary to get a boat (and if it was about to explode what would you do? Wait for some boat to drive by or just jump in the water and drown) at the thought of drowning and when you are runnning away from cops, you stop right before you fall into the water but then all of a sudden a cop car comes flying at you knocking you into the water and causing you to drown. So keep the swimming on! But you're idea that you should learn how to swim, no offense but it's kind of stupid. You'll most likely be a grown man who probably would know how to swim. If not it's kind of stupid learning how to swim and it would get annoying (imagine a cold blooded killer with waterwings). I found that increasing your skill level in SA was kind of stupid except maybe respect but everything else like driving skill or gun skill was kind of stupid to me. So I would like swimming but they should take out those skill increasing things, girlfriends and changing clothes should be faster.

I have a question. I am sort of lazy to go on all those dates because I find the girlfriend feature stupid and annoying but I wanted to know when you get the police outfit could you go to the Army place and Area 69 without getting shot like in VC? If you could I might go find this Barbra...

The easiest place to find them (and the minigun and flamethrower as well) is in Torino's ranch place.Or you could find the ones labeled on the map from the link 888ball put up. Why don't they just put all those 4 guns in ammunation, it would be so much easier instead of going all around looking for some gun.
