  1. I picked up VCS and Dominator, £20 for both, about a month ago, maybe a bit more, and I got MGS for my birthday in early March.
  2. The graphics look poor, they are better than the PS2 version, but it doesn't look nearly as good as it could have done. I myself have just started Bully for the 2nd time, just beginning to get back into it.
  3. I'm gonna get a 40GB PS3 hopefully by Wednesday, there was a deal for the 40GB about 5 days ago, with 2 games and 2 controllers for £300, and I didn't get it, and now it's gone up to around £350 which is just plain irritating. Nevertheless, I'll still pick one up, maybe from Gamestation. EDIT: And then I'll have to make up another network name probably, because I registered this name over a year ago and haven't even logged in. I have no idea what name to use, either.

    Manhunt 2

You've got about 5 months before it's released, which is insulting compared to the release date for the American version. I don't care though, I'm not getting it. BTW, here, is a link to unblock the censoring for Manhunt 2, basically giving you the original banned game in full. Even better, if you buy an Action Replay device, you can just enter a code to unblock the censored content. On GTA San Andreas for the PS2, there's a code to unlock the 'hot coffee' situation, although I haven't tried it yet. Just goes to show that there's always a way to get around the authorities, doesn't it. What's an "Action Replay device"??? Wow, surprised you didn't know about that... right now, I've got deja vu for the 2nd time, I could have sworn you said something identical to this a while back, and I replied very much like I am now, weird... but yeah, it's the best cheat device to have, basically. New cheats are made pretty much every day, and with the device, I obtained a PES2008 option file from a PES site, which had all the new kits for the football/soccer this season. I'm sure more will be made ahead of the new season as well. You should think about getting one, they're excellent if you want to just muck around. EDIT: Just realised this should be in General Gaming...
  5. Mods can be made for PS3, not sure about the 360 - Unreal Tournament 3 proves that mods can be made, so I don't see why the same can't happen for GTAIV. BTW, I voted 1 Yes, and 2 No, because mods will more than likely be made - they've been made for every GTA game so far, there's no reason why it should all suddenly stop. Also, this topic is hardly a mega poll, if there was 10 options or more, then it would be.
  6. ^ Alkaline, read his posts again: He's getting a PS3, he just wants to know which version is the best, now. As I said before, get it from Amazon or whatever American stores you have.
  7. I've no problem with swearing, and I could care less if eventually my kids swear as well. Everyone does it. I guess some people might be offended if you swear in close proximity to them, e.g. on the bus, train, etc. but fuck it, I couldn't give 2 shits.

  9. So you've decided to get a PS3. Okay, I'd recommend you just go for the 40GB PS3 - if you have the money, buy a 60GB off Ebay or Amazon or something, but prepare to pay over the odds for one. You can easily upgrade the hard drive for the 40GB to something more substantial - 120GB if you want, or 500GB, whatever you can find. Just type 'upgrade PS3 hard drive' in Google and you'll find lots of helpful links. There's 2 pages from Amazon I just looked at, and both are just for the console and 1 controller. I'm sure you'll find bundles via BestBuy or whatever stores you have in the US, but here are both links anyway: Used & New 60GB PS3s from $399.99. New 40GB PS3s from $399.99,, Used 40GB PS3s from $349.00. If you're looking for backwards compatibility, then the 60GB is really your only option, but if you're not bothered about that, the 40GB is basically the same, minus the compatibility and a few other slots. It's quieter and more energy efficient than the 60GB as well, apparently.
  10. Just last week, my mum was ripped off trying to buy me a 60GB PS3 on ebay - some bastard did this referral thingy, where he referred you to a site which didn't even recognise the product, and trying to contact him was next to impossible because he'd somehow blocked his e-mail address. Luckily, my mum got her money back and he was subsequently banned. I wouldn't touch this offer with a bargepole, TBH.
  11. I still think every song will find its way online; people would probably just rip them directly from the game, do whatever else to it they do in terms of converting, and upload them all to either a Torrent site or a site like Rapidshare. I've noticed music from games for the PS1 appearing on the net, ripped directly from the game, so this will more than likely happen. Also, the package(s) might be given a completely different name, to avoid it being found by Rockstar.
  12. An excellent trailer, I watched it about 2 hours ago and was blown away by how good it looks - the screenshots that've been released are MASSIVELY misleading, they look like dirt compared to the trailer, which is odd. But, nevertheless, it's a superb trailer.
  13. They're on here as well: http://www.gta4.net/screenshots/ They're not all gone, yet. Maybe someone could save them to their hard drive if they want to reupload them... they are there, you just have to dig around.
  14. I got this mag - I'm quoted twice on page 79. I'm on their forum, that's why. Really looking forward to this game now, the multiplayer sounds incredible. I haven't seen the new screenshots they had in the mag before, I'll have a look in the gallery now.
  15. I don't know, it sounds a bit like him, but I very much doubt it is him. The first sentence sounds slightly similar, but I think it's someone else.
  16. Cool, checking this out now. Still a week until the 4th trailer, though.
  17. Why am I the only one who likes it? I think the shot looks okay, it really does not look like a fake at all. TBH the graphics so far haven't exactly blown me away, they're quite low key, but it's the gameplay that counts and I'm sure it'll impress come release date.
  18. I guess this'll be similar to CSR from San Andreas, the RnB station, which I didn't like. But still, it's good to see they'll be a lot of diversity on the stations again.
  19. ^ I'm guessing you'll be able to pick the area you want to frolic in, but I doubt you'll be able to customise the region you'll be exploring, although anything could be possible. Having the whole map open sounds a bit too advanced, IMO, especially if the city is packed with pedestrians, cars and the rest of it, with 40 rampaging lunatics blasting each other to bits. I'm just happy with a multiplayer mode, in whatever form.
  20. My mistake. That'll still be great, but I'm getting fed up of trailers.
  21. Where'd you hear this? If you don't have any links then you're lying. If there is another trailer, I'd be disappointed - I want gameplay movies.
  22. Fantastic news, this is surely a big selling point, and that's not even including the huge single player mode! I've personally never played a multiplayer GTA match, so this will blow me away come release date.
  23. In GTA LCS, DJ Clue was on Liberty Jam, so this is good news. Can't say I've heard the song, but hopefully it'll be good.
  24. I've seen most of the images Rockstar have released, and it doesn't look too bad. I don't want any slowdown however, PES2008 was totally ruined with slowdown on PS3 and I don't want it to happen again. Although, the only area that's affected so far is the wall textures, IMO. I'm hoping the game will run smoothly, it needs to with all the traffic and pedestrians roaming the streets. I'll reserve judgement until some gameplay videos are released.
  25. Decent graphics again, but the textures on the walls still look quite poor, and I don't think that will change before release date. The artworks good as well.
