Each time you start a new game, you have to re-install the data. Thing is, you'll lose another 4GBs from your hard drive as well, or whatever it says on the back of the box, once you've installed each of the 5 acts. So, what I'm asking is, is there any way of getting that HD space back, or is it lost forever? Seriously, if you've finished the game more than once, go check the amount of space left on your HD and see if it's happened to you as well. I have no more than 10 demos on my HD, no music, no photos, nothing else, and I'm down to the last 5.5 or so GBs, from around 27 GB. If this is true and it happens each time, it's such a massive oversight from Kojima, and really fucking stupid of him not to implement some sort of system to prevent you losing HD space.

Exactly, I went back to it yesterday and finished it this morning, it never gets dull. Right now I'm about to install some new demos from the new official ps3 mag, mainly Euro 2008. My FIFA 08 hasn't arrived yet, I ordered it like 2 weeks ago in anticipation of Euro 2008...

Wowowowow. Who watched the Czech Republic against Turkey? The Czechs were winning 2-0 with about 15 minutes left, and then ending up losing 3-2 to the Turks. I was extremely surprised, but Turkey deserved it due to the last 20 minutes, it was spellbinding to watch. Cech was at fault for all the goals, he got a hand to the first goal and tipped it against the post, but he should have kept it out, he dropped the ball for the 2nd goal and the striker scored from it, and he was out of position for the stunning 3rd goal. Best goalkeeper in the world, don't make me laugh. Van Der Sar and Buffon are much better. Even Lehmann.

As IVAN said, any MGS game. There's going to be a MGS film, which should be okay. I wouldn't mind a Medal of Honor film, a Medievil film, a Conflict: Desert Storm film, a Call of Duty film based upon number 4, and maybe a Hogs of War film. Medievil could be a great comedy film.

^ Yep, I finished the game today too, and I felt like crying for hours. It's simply the best game I've played in the last 10 years, easily beating GTA4, all the other GTA games, and almost every other game out over that period. MAJOR SPOILERS! Don't read if you don't want to know significant plot details... BTW, I'm a little irritated at all the install times. Since I've restarted the game, you still have to install. I hope this doesn't keep on taking up space you can't get back, otherwise it's a massive oversight on Kojimas behalf. And what's this about a white room I heard? It apparently contains 1 or 2 huge surprises, but I never came across it... I'll be playing the first 2 Metal Gears shortly.

MGS4, I'm on the start of Act 3 now I think -

I'm trying to finish GTA4 as quick as possible, until FIFA 08 arrives for me. I'm about 2 hours into it, and I think my next mission is

The Holland game was great, the best one so far. All the other games, apart from the Portugal game and the Germany Poland game, have been boring to watch. I also think the ball isn't right for the tournament, it should be heavier. Numerous people have complained about it, even Cech, the Czech GK. I think Portugal and Germany are the 2 stand-out favourites - Germany didn't really click as they can, but Klose and Gomez are a deadly duo who will get goals, and Portugal play a quick passing game, with Ronaldo and Simao on the wings. They don't have a main striker, but they're doing okay so far. I hope they'll be more games like Holland and Italy, otherwise my eyes will just glaze over.

San Juan Sounds. It used to be The Journey, or Journey, but I've heard all the songs. I didn't know I liked that sort of music before, but it's pretty cool.

I personally loved the 2nd one the most, mainly because I played a demo of it like 11 or 12 years ago, and then I lost the demo and didn't play it again until I bumped into a friend on holiday, who lent me it. I haven't played the first one, but it looks quite limited so I wouldn't bother, and the 3rd one looks like a lot of fun as well. You should get either 2 or 3, IMO, and I recommend 2.

Link, and more links via Google. I can't say I'm suprised, nothing was heard of The Getaway for close to a year, and maybe it just required too much work for it to be released. However, Sony only said this: Hmm, I don't think they have THAT many first-class games coming out. I really like Sony, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot and making idiots of themselves. And as for 8 Days, from the only footage released (which was CGI as well, no in game details revealed at all), it looked like another standard shooting/driving game that's been done millions of times before, and probably better. The footage they showed was basically a CGI movie with a HUD stuck on it, and it looked really fake. No loss there, IMO, but that's 2 more exclusives lost for Sony now.

This is old, but I haven't even worn them yet, and I have his safehouse... I kinda forgot about them.

PS3: Uncharted: Drakes Fortune Motorstorm Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Grand Theft Auto 4 Call of Duty 4 I'll soon be getting FIFA 08 as well, I enjoyed the demo and it's cheap, so why not. @ RaDi0N, I USED to own over half of the games you mentioned. DW I had lots of, MGS, GTA, MOH, Burnout, Gran Turismo, Battlefield 2, Black, etc etc.

I filmed a video with my crap Sony Cybershot camera, and Niko somehow turned invisible. I'm not kidding - I was driving around on a motorbike running people over, crashed into an ambulance and then stole a taxi, when Niko reappeared. I really don't know how it happened, but I remember I was crouching next to a taxi looking at some guy who'd been run over, I got up and I couldn't see Niko. I could do everything as normal, but he was invisible. I might upload the video to Youtube, but I'm really busy with work. You'll get to see the footage definitely, but not just yet. It's on a 40GB PS3 BTW. Also, if you hit a car window with a baseball bat and someone's inside, stand next to the drivers door. When they get out they'll go through the door, you'll be next to them, and then you'll be moved back a bit for them to get in a standing position. Only a small thing, but needless nonetheless. EDIT: I'll be uploading the vid imminently, I changed my mind. EDIT 2: When I tried to upload it, I kept getting errors. You'll see the vid later today.

I drive up on the pavement and watch all the peds fly across my bonnet, really great fun. I also push people off buildings, cruise the city and blow myself up in busy areas with hand grenades - rag dolls physics are sweet.

In simpleton terms, he means - when the mission starts, he hails a cab, skips the journey and arrives outside said dealers location, therefore arriving in under 5 seconds. I personally haven't had many problems with this, although I am an exceptional driver. That didn't sound arrogant at all.

I think with the newest Firefox, number 3, it has some sort of back-up system so you should never lose another bookmark again. It's still in the BETA stages though. Just follow the advice given and you'll have no problems.

Eh, I can't even remember the last time I logged in there. Anyway, I've had my avatar for ages now and I've had the sig for a short while, thoughts? I'll add a border tomorrow maybe, I have a ton of work to do. Will all be done end of next week, and then 3 months of pure nothingness. BTW, I found both av and sig, so don't ask me how I made them. I'm hopeless with Photoshop, but I'm beginning to learn some things.

I didn't cheat once on my first play through, far too easy. What makes it easier (or more accessible) is you keep your weapons when you die, which was a major thorn in past GTA games.

None of them from the list - I have 3 favourites: Sentinel - best vehicle in the game. Comet - excellent vehicle, but wreaks too easily. Escalade - very sturdy vehicle, and looks great. Whenever possible, I drive a Sentinel - it's THE way to travel by car, exceptional handling around corners and very fast, plus fairly resilient to gunshots.

Who cares, seriously? I only used the forklift twice in the GTA series - for both the missions that required them in SA and VCS, and it was a shit vehicle. Give me a tank any day.
