I just figured it would be a lot easier for someone who has seen the show to share what they saw and heard, seeing as I have no idea what to search for online. Any specific names that you remember so I can at least figure out what to search?

I just bought Resistance 2! However I can't open it until Christmas...
As I was going to accept your friend invite, my internet decided to stop working. So as soon as I'm able to sign back in, I'll accept it.
I'm thinking of going to get the Collector's edition some time this weekend, but I won't be playing it until I beat the first one.
I was so close, but I can't use my damn save files. Pisses me off.

Well once I got the internet working on my PS3, I found out I could sign in on my old one. So I still have all my contacts. I'll be on tomorrow some time when I get back home.

I don't see how you could debunk a prediction about the future, but I'll watch them.
EDIT: I was agreeing with what he was saying up until he started talking about Nibiru, "Planet X". The narrator makes it seem like the whole idea is a theory, but there is scientific evidence that there is a large body far out in our solar system that is causing certain affects to our solar system. In the early 1900's scientist believed Pluto was the cause of it, but Pluto is way to small to cause it. Scientist still believe today that there is a large body far out past Pluto that is causing this...which some people believe is Nibiru, which could be true, but this doesn't prove it's theorized orbit.
Ok, now I'm gonna try to watch the rest.
EDIT: EDIT: Another thing...he mentioned that aliens would know about the rings and moons of planets, but if aliens some how told Mayans about our solar system...maybe they just didn't mention those things. Maybe they classify our moon as a planet for some reason. Pluto's moon is almost the size of Pluto so any other civilization in outer space could look at Pluto and it's moon as two planets as well as our own Moon.

FINAL EDIT: Well at the end he says that he believes in the prophesies of the Holy Bible, which is one of the things I mentioned in my first post.

Again, guns = technology, which requires intelligence. I personally don't think you need to be intelligent to be able to make predictions, if people are able to spiritually make predictions about the future in the first place.

Fuck. There are way too many good games coming out. Should I get Resistance 2, Mirror's Edge, CoD: WaW or LBP for Christmas? I really don't know. I've been thinking about buying SOCOM: Confrontation because it includes the wireless headset (the official Sony one) and it's pretty cheap as well. Around 30 GBP from GAME.
Are you only able to get one?
If that were my choice, I would get them in this order.
1. Resistance 2 (Collector's edition)<<<The only reason it's #1 is because they might run out.
2. Little Big Planet
3. Mirror's Edge
4. Call of Duty: World at War
#3 and #4 are pretty much tied, but I'd get Mirror's Edge over World at War because I heard so many bad things about World at War. Although, lately I've been hearing really good things about it, but those two games are at the bottom of my list so it doesn't matter to me.
If you're basing your choice over which game I'm gonna get so we could play together, get Resistance 2.

If someone had a sig wider than someone's screen, that would cause the page to stretch. That would force those people to scroll horizontally to be able to read anything.
Most people use 1024 or 1280 widths, although quite a few people have larger or smaller screens.
Does anyone know how many members of the 3% that have 800X600 screen resolutions that are active users?
Why do you want a wider sig? Chris manages with a very small one, and everyone else in this topic is under the limit. Surely your post content is more important than a collection of userbars or links to your personal sites?If I have more space to work with, I might be able to make better sigs, that's all. It's really no big deal. I totally understand why they can't be larger in height.
Again, this is just a suggestion. If Chris doesn't feel that the sigs should be larger, then that's his choice.

I don't think intelligence really has anything to do with predictions, given that people are actually able to predict the future.
On a second look at your comment, it seems like you're suggesting that the Mayans were some sort of race or possibly sort of like a Neanderthal and all of the sudden got wiped out. Their society just evolved into something else. Although, I could be wrong because my knowledge of Mayans isn't that great.

Well that wouldn't be very nice to the few people still stuck on 800x600 screens would it. And yes, file size is also an issue, as is aesthetics. It would look absolutely horrible. No need for a signature that wide.Yeah I was just making a point about that screen res, didn't mean that many people used it. I use stats to decide what to develop for. Less than 3% of our visitors use a resolution that small, it's not worth us developing the website to work on such obsolete technology when so few people use it. 1024 is unfortunately still the most popular for some reason, so we're forced to keep the width small enough to fit on that resolution, hence why 1000px is chosen for the main website.
The forum itself is 100% so it doesn't matter what screen width you're on, the banner will just look stretched is all. But if someone had an 800px wide sig, the entire page of forum posts where your sig appeared would be broken and difficult to read.
It seems to me that you're sort of contradicting yourself. You don't want sigs to be that large due to members screen resolutions, yet you don't want to make a small banner due to the low amount of people with low screen resolutions. I wasn't suggesting the actual sig restrictions to be 800X200, that was just a random size. I just think it could be larger than 500X200, width wise.
Also, I'm not sure who said or suggested this, but didn't someone say that you should actually give the site a larger width because of the low number of people with a screen resolution of 1024X768? Although, from what you said, that's what the majority of the members use.
Besides, shouldn't it be up to the members if they'd want their sigs to be wider, provided that you allowed them to do that? Members wouldn't HAVE to make their sigs that size; I was just putting it out there that maybe some might want to experiment with wider sigs. That's the whole reason why I brought it up. But hey, it's your site; it's your call. I'm just suggesting it.

GTA3 on PS2. Trying to get this damned Dodo up in the air!!
Good luck with that. It's a tough thing to master. I used to be able to get it flying good every so often, but I haven't played GTAIII in a long ass time.
Mirror's Edge demo. It was kinda frustrating at first (more to do with the actual downloading than the game), but now it's one of the best first-person experiences I've had.I saw the trailer for it and it actually looked kind of decent...not usually the type of theme I go for though. Would you suggest buying the game or should I try out the demo first?

I understand why there are restrictions on sigs...but why is the width restriction so low? 500X200...why not something like 800X200?
I'm assuming that it involves file size, but would if we're able to make the sig wider, yet small in file size?

I don't really believe in this whole 2012 end of the world stuff. They said we would all die when they tested the LHC but we didn't. They said we would be saved by aliens in the end of October but we weren't. When it's 2013 I'm going to post all over forums being an annoying prat saying "I told you so!" Btw I'm not implying that you believe in it.Well the LHC broke before they could use it...they turned it on, but that's not what was gonna end the world. They said the world was gonna end if we used an atomic bomb, but our atmosphere didn't get wiped out or anything...people just got killed and some left a little deformed.
The whole thing about this past October...a random ass lady predicted that would happen. She has a bad history of giving horribly false predictions. I don't think anyone that has heard of her before believed her...even people that never heard of her before probably didn't believed her.
Out of curiosity...what will you do if something does begin to happen in 2012?

Yeah, I don't think anythings really gonna happen, but I find it odd that 2012 gets brought up a lot. The thing that really gets me thinking is when certain "prophesies" explained when certain things were going to happen in America thousands of years before America was around. Some of these prophesies even gave names of people who would be in power during a certain time and it turned out right and its these same prophesies that talk about 2012 being dooms day.
Yeah, I've heard some stories about this stuff. To be honest, I think it is a load of bull. I also heard the Mayans didn't say it was the end of the world. They said it was the end of History, and the beginning of a new era.Yeah, I've heard of that before...but why stop on December 21st? Why couldn't they finish the last 10 days?

Right now I'm watching a special on the History channel called "Decoding the Past". Its all about the prophesies of numerous people from various points in time.
They include the Mayan calendar, the "I Ching", the historical "Merlin", the Holy Bible and many more. Ironically all of these stories/prophesies all say that 2012 is the end of time. I've mentioned this many times before in a lot of different topics, but I keep watching new videos and reading new things that involve this year for some reason.
2012 isn't that far off and I was just wondering what everyone thinks of this.
Have any of you heard of any stories about 2012?

i cant play my ps3 much because i have an error 'an error occured during the start operation (80010514)' comes up and they said it will cost 150 GBP to fix, fuck thatI had to do the same thing and my hard drive doesn't even work in it anymore.

Just 4 days left now until COD5, can't wait for it. People who've played the Beta are saying it's better than COD4, which is hard to believe, but I'm still getting it on launch day. And did anyone hear about LittleBigPlanet levels being deleted because of copyright? Ha, just as well I don't like LBP. I'm not interested, but that really does suck. You pay homage to games you love, and some prick deletes them because they're 'supposedly' infringing on copyright, which is absolute nonsense. Having your game recreated in such a loving way can only be a good thing, surely? Also, what's the point in including characters like Old Snake and Kratos when you can't even use them in a level inspired by MGS or GOW? Apparently some people found it to be a good idea to remake "The Three Stooges" into a movie...for some reason. The people responsible for this are the Farrelly Brothers, who made "There's Something About Mary" and "Dumb and Dumber".
I personally find this to be a very bad idea. You can't possibly replace the original actor's and I think this will be a horrible movie, but hey...that's just me.
What does everyone else think of this...are writers running out of ideas, like some have been suggesting for a while now?

Well people are actually getting sent a key in the mail from Rockstar Games if they got 100% by a certain date.
My PS3 was conveniently broken when this was going on. Aren't I lucky.

Well I got my PS3 back today...and Sony kindly ripped off and threw away my $50 custom made GTAIV decal.
That's not even the worst part though. I CAN'T EVEN USE MY HARD DRIVE NOW!!!
So not only did I get to waste $200, but now I have an even more fucked up PS3 than before.
I called Sony twice, the first time was about the decal and then the second time was after I found out I couldn't use my hard drive and they said they can't do shit about it.
