  1. Well my bro got Resistance 2, so I'll be trying it out, if its any good (which I expect it to be) I'll be getting it this weekend.

The storyline is a lot more indepth than I thought it would be. I love where it's going.

I would have to say the "Resistance" series is gonna be PlayStation's "Halo"...although I thought Halo sucked, but I think it'll be just as popular or even more popular than the "Halo" series.

  2. IMO, fools can't read.

That stated that the development process was going to be transformed into a 2 - year process. Higher game quality, reduced workload, etc. The website claimed that it was going to be cut, and provided a quote (presumably to try and prove it) that said nothing of the sort.

Also, Mcrae and Macrae aren't the same people. One is a legendary Scottinsh racing driver (RIP), the other is likely just an americunt.

NFS series ended at Underground 2. Everything after that was just shit.

    x2.

Bold: LOL, I thought the same thing. I wasn't understanding where they got the idea that the series was being taken out.

I would have to agree with Chris, after Underground 2, it all went to shit. I didn't even beat Underground 2, but I liked the idea of the free roam feature.

I think EA should re-do Hot Pursuit 2. Similar soundtrack, better graphics, same tracks with more roads and the ability to go off road and more tracks as well. OR they could just combine all the old tracks into one some how. That'd be bitchin'.

  3. I'm aware of what genetic means, and I don't appreciate your sarcasm. I stand by what I said.

You know what "genetic" means...and you still want to stick with your previous opinion statement...

So you actually think that homosexuality is passed down from parents to children? If so then you're basically giving me more to argue with that gay couples shouldn't be allowed to adopt.

Oh, by the way...I wasn't really being sarcastic in my last post...

  4. Womens rights are very unfair still. Women generaly arent as strong as men (Oh, thats right, all the time with your MSN barbie bimbo dolls, couldbve been at the gym), so they should all be allowed to have free Auto Matic weapons!!!

As for men, they will recive a BB gun.

A woman physically can't be as strong as a man that works out just as hard as they do, unless of course they use drugs such as steroids.

Although in some cases women are stronger than certain men because of their own physical fitness.

Women are limited to certain jobs being that women don’t have the same potential at gaining strength than men, but a lot of great jobs don't require really any physical strength.

In a way, women have a better chance at getting a better job than men because they won't be as side tracked by jobs requiring tough, physical labor. Provided that they know those facts and attempt to stay away from those particular jobs.

  5. Excuse me? Do you have a doubt that homosexuality is genetic? Please ask any of the various gay people on this board whether or not they made it their choice. You are born with your sexual preference, and going against that is unnatural and nearly impossible. Just as you are averted to having sex with a man, a gay man is averted to having sex with a woman.

Here, let me google that for you.

I don't think homosexuality gets passed down through generations.

Although, from your last post it seems like what you're talking about is kinda different.

  6. Again, there's absolutely NO difference between gay and straight marriage in terms of loopholes. Do you check that straight couples are actually straight before they get married, just in case?

Well I think it's a little more difficult for a guy to find a female to "marry" to use as a loophole than it would be for that guy to find a guy friend to "marry" as a loophole. But yes, either way there could be loopholes.

Bold: Are you saying homosexuality is genetic?

Yeah, that is what I'm saying.

    WOW.

  7. and yes, people are too tolerant, many gays are struggling to achieve their goal, which is to be married someday, i know that there is a lot of gays in this world, but did these gays think that there are also many people who are against it? They should also consider that.

Bold: There are many straight marriages that many people are against, but that usually doesn't effect the couple's decission and it shouldn't effect gay marriages either.

The people with arguments against gay marriage have it all wrong. The less tolerant society becomes, the more homosexuals there will be. Especially outside of the United States and Europe, homosexuality is shamed, and this shame makes gay men try and lead heterosexual lives. They force themselves to have a wife and kids. And guess what? Having a child spreads homosexuality! If we are more tolerant of it and allow gay people to marry one another, I don't doubt that homosexuality would disappear given the right amount of time.

Bold: Are you saying homosexuality is genetic?

I think a few people are getting this mixed up... gay marriage wouldn't change that much, only allow gay couples to get married, when normally they would just stay as couples. Banning gay marriage doesn't stop us getting together, just prevents us having the same rights as opposite-sex couples.

This isn't about allowing or disallowing homosexuality or homosexual couples, it's just whether or not they can share a surname, share an income, get the right benefits, adopt children or whatever. It's just a legal status.

Bold: For some reason I never really thought about the rights couples recieve when they get married in this particular situation. I guess I just thought that people didn't want this to happen because of, mainly, religious reasons.

Now I could some what see where those people against it are coming from. Gay Marriage could possibly be used as loopholes...which might be the problem. Although, that doesn't really change my opinion, I still think homosexuals should be allowed to get married...provided that they are in fact homosexuals.

  8. I don't agree with pineapple, but other people eating it doesn't affect me, so I have nothing against them eating it. I don't like rap music, but nothing wrong with it existing and people listening to it. Just don't force me to eat pineapple or listen to shizzle-dawg-nigger or whatever they're called these days!

I hate pineapples and rap too, but unlike you, I think both of them shouldn't exist. :P

So are you personally against getting married?

Like, if gay marriage shouldn't be allowed, then why should straight marriage be allowed?

Well the fight for these rights haven't been this extreme before...at least I don't think so. Give it a few years or possibly a decade or two and it'll probably be legal everywhere.

There is no real good answer to that question just yet. It's just that the majority of society has this certain look on life and apparently this would be a pretty large change for them and I think society just needs some time before this could become legal.

  9. I finally beat Resistance 2. AWESOME GAME! I'm getting really into the series now and I'm glad I decided to get the Collector's Edition.

I haven't played online yet, but If anyone wants to play me, let me know.

I may have asked this already before, but has anyone heard about the new Tony Hawk game coming out?

I've been getting back into those games as well.

  10. Everyone should be allowed to love who they want, if two people want to get married then they should. No matter what gender, as someone said love is love. I doubt children raised by gay parents are more likely to be gay, its not how your raised its just who you are. Of course there will be straight people left, where would they go? Its not like an infection thats turning people gay.

Bold: Well what I mean by there being a more likely chance of them turning gay, especially men, is that children often prefer the same sex when they're young because of "cooties" and what not. I think the reason guys usually get over that, not only because of hormones, but because they're raised to understand that our life cycle doesn't work that way. ALSO, because of social issues they're afraid of facing.

At the stage a child becomes interested in the opposite sex is usually when the parents still have a huge influence in their lives and children usually take after their parents.

    Bold:

Very true, and I have thought of that before I even posted in this topic, which is where the large amount of time it'd take for it to actually become a major problem comes into play.

EDIT: I'll use this comparison again. As interracial marriage continues, the amount of people with a mix of different races will increase. Again, not saying that's a bad thing...I think it'd actually be better that way. Anyways, the more gay couples that would adopt, the higher chance the child would turn gay, which in turn would cause another generation of people that are gay, that may not have turned out that way if they had straight parents. Again though, that'd take a very long time to cause any sort of problem.

The straight people would still be around, but the percent of gay people there would be over straight people would start to shift, which would progress very slowely.

Fuck yes. If it's disgusting to you, then i suggest you stop watching gay people have sex. Not like some guy is going to propose to you the second you leave the house.

Now, it is all about equal rights. Gay people have just as much rights as a straight guy(girl).

Only reason why it was never done was because religion and arranged marriages had go in the way and fuck it up for the happy lovers that were naturally like any other person.

So what I'm trying to say is, our marriage systems should be evolving to the point where we are civilised enough to accept this natural thing.

Me myself am not gay but so 100% for gay marriage.

Exactly, I think it's retarded for people to intervene into someone else's life and say that they can't do something "just because". I think there needs to be a much better reason behind it than "religious reasons" because obviously those homosexuals aren't following those particular religions that frown on gay marriage…why would they?

  11. Actually I like it this way, his reaction, he smiles.

LOL, I know! I thought I might have been the only one that noticed that. :lolbounce:

The journalist had very good accuracy though. If the guy in front of him didn't put his hand out to deflect the second shoe, Bush would have been smacked in the face with an Iraqi shoe :)

I'm not sure if that guy actually deflected it. It looked a little too far off to their right for him to deflect it.

  12. And like I said, because of misinformation. Take a look at how many propositions there were on this year's ballot regarding homosexuality: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/ballot.measures . I'd say that's more than "barely."

The main thing fueling people's opinions on this matter is, sadly, religion. So much for keeping religion out of our laws...

Ok, I'm starting to get confused. Are you trying to tell me that no one is allowing gay marriage?

  13. You said that there's higher chance of the kid become gay with gay parents, you say it like it's a bad thing that shouldn't happen, like you wanna prevent it.

So there would be no straight people left? Oh no!

My ex is completely straight, and her parents are lesbian, and this is probably the case with many other people.

Uhhh...if there aren't any straight people left...it'd be a little hard to reproduce, but with time...anything is possible I guess.

There are a number of things that society would be able to do to reproduce in an alternative way, but I still stick by my previous comments.

I never said EVERY child with homosexual parents would turn out gay, but I feel there is a higher chance that they would.

Um not quite. It's already legal in Massachusetts, and it was made legal in California by the state court earlier this year and then banned again this November with the passing of Proposition 8.

Uhhh...>>> "What the hell are you talking about? They're not even, or barely allowing gay marriage"

  14. Oh my goodness, no wonder legislation can never actually get passed on this issue

The main problem is misinformation. If people stop believing what they want, and take a look at the facts to realize that homosexuality is genetic, then we may finally be able to progress as a society. I have no problem with gay marriage, and I voted this November to keep it legal in California. Unfortunately the proposition to ban gay marriage passed, but that is definitely not the last we've heard of it.

What the hell are you talking about? They're not even, or barely allowing gay marriage to happen and I'm for gay marriage.

Still doesn't make me any less pissed at the first bolded statement.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, but that's my opinion.

You say it like there's something wrong with being gay?

And what the fuck is wrong with interracial marriage?

If I found that there was something wrong with gay marriage then I wouldn't say that I'm for gay marriage.

I never said that interracial marriage was a bad thing, but I was comparing the two because interracial marriage is becoming less and less uncommon. So if that were to happen with gay couples adopting children, then I think gay marriage would expand until eventually there are no more straight people left...but again...that'd take an extremely long time if that were to happen.

  15. I don't care if homosexuals get married, but I don’t think they should be allowed to adopt children. I feel there is a greater chance that the child would end up gay than if they had straight parents. If it spreads like interracial marriage, then I think it could possibly be the downfall of mankind.

If what I think could happen were true, then it’d probably take thousands or possibly tens of thousands of years to actually turn into a problem…but a possibility nonetheless.

You could argue with me all you want, but you can’t change my thoughts on that.

Keep in mind that I’m not trying to offend anyone.

  16. we're still here, thres still no fucking god and im still a fucking laggynoob(this is proof that there is no god).... what the fuck man im disappointed

...Wait...what proves that there is no God?

  17. So who here has tested out Home? I was with Ryansg and Bossman yesterday, was pretty fun. I'm looking forward to the future content.

I tried it out when it was still in closed beta, but ever since the open beta was released...I can't get in. :(

  18. I thought you were a girl lol cos of your Avatar pic.

    And on the other hand...

Cool, you can highlight shit, your awesome!!!

LOL, you thought a female that sexy would waste their time on a gaming forum? :lolbounce:

Although, if you thought I was female...then there was no need to say "Lady Harwood", which causes me to think that excuse is complete bullshit.

What kind of background story do you think a female protagonist would have in a GTA game?

  19. Yes, it would make things fresh and new, and if you employ GTA SA style stats, you'll have to learn to fight strong (It will have to be done quick to keep players interested), at the start your not exactly gonna finish someone in 5 punches and a stomp. In Vice City, with Lithjoes traniner, Shift+N makes you Candy Suxxx, but animations are off. And I aint a sexist pig, thank god, except my Stripper idea was not recived well by our lady Harwood.

Also, we need to get rid of silly weapons like Miniguns and shit, and include more average weapons. Like Walther P99's and MP5K's and alll the cool shit and even Steyr AUG's!!

lol, I never called you a sexist pig. I find it funny that you called me a "lady" because of what I said. I was simply pointing out that what you said could have been taken as sexist since you said yourself, "I hope there aint any sexist comments either..."

That just didn't make sense to me.

  20. If they were actually including rape, then I would never play it again. Thats just sick and thank God they probably will never include it in the game, as that would an instant ban.

I don't think I'd go as far as not playing the game...but if it were in the main storyline...then I probably wouldn't buy it.

There's no way that it'll appear in a GTA game, so there's really no use in talking about it.

bank robbery is a good idea, but it would be nice if you will also transport some kind of smuggled goods without being noticed or chased by the police

Bank robbery and smuggling would be good to have as side missions you could do over and over again, but they would need to be a lot more elaborate.

    Insurance Fraud!!!!

    LOLZ

  21. They would be. Imagine going in stripclubs: You could work there!

Also there be allot more snipering, or maybye climbing buildings and shit?

See...that could be considered a sexist comment...depending on the way you look at it.

A female protagonist would have their advantages with a number of things that Rockstar could integrate into the game that would give a much different idea and feel to the GTA series that I think would work pretty well. Yes, they'd mainly have these advantages because they're female, but I think adding in the ability for the potential female protagonist to become a stripper would be heading in the wrong direction for this particular idea. They would need to show how a female protagonist could use the “art of seduction” to get through certain parts of the storyline. They could obviously add a lot more into it than just that. There are a lot of possibilities with using a female protagonist and a dating system would be looked at totally differently.

Most of the GTA community consists of males, which in turn would cause the majority of the players to look past the dating missions that might be in such a game to get information from the dates. Just like Niko had to go on a “date” with a homosexual…maybe this female protagonist would have to do something similar as well.

I think something like this could work. Just imagine a protagonist like Catalina.
