Never! The fight between Sony and Microsoft should continue, if they do then they're going to keep on building better consoles until one of them loses. The first ever GTA game was on a PlayStation.

Right after I read what you said...I remembered that there will probably be around two more games in the GTAIV chapter of the Grand Theft Auto series so GTAV is far away. It most likely won't appear on the PS3.

I didn't even bother to pre-order it. I knew I'd get one the first day it came out. I only pre-order GTA games...or ones I really want and don't want to take any chances.

I sneezed once and my TV turned on but I think It was a glitch... was sitting on the remote when it happened.
Another time I walked down a road and the first 3 cars I walked past the alarms randomly set off.
That's weird that all three went off. I'd find it coincidental if one went off...but all three. *begins to hear Twilight Zone music*

I just think it's stupid if people go on complaining about people doing certain kills such as heli-kills.
If that's their strategy then ok, that's fine. That just means you have to come up with a better strategy and if the heli-killer is smart, they'll change their strategy so they don't die. Simple as that. You can't be cheap when playing GTA Multiplayer, you could only be good or bad at coming up with strategies.
So it's cool if I come with a hunter and own the fuck out of you at spawn with the blades every time? Pretty good strategy I suppose, as long as people don't complain.
See, that's where I'd change my strategy and spawn some where else. I wouldn't be retarded and respawn right where you are.

So far it's good and I could already tell it'll take a while to beat.
The crashes are much more realistic in this one and the take downs are harder to do, so that's a plus. Although, once you get the idea, take downs are easier than they should. But if you really think about how fast you're going when you run into these cars, physically speaking they'd get taken down pretty fast.
I personally think that you have to buy this game and not rent it, just because of how they set it up. You have to actually work your way up and the time you get when you rent it won't be enough time to see what this game has to really offer.
My best advice is that if you enjoyed any of the Burnout games in the past...buy this one.

What's so great about Metal Gear Solid? I personally never played any of the games, so please enlighten me on the craze called MGS4.

Yeah, basically what Ciaran said, the community aspects are gonna make Little Big Planet an amazing game. You could customize your character and the world around you from scratch. I honestly can't wait for Little Big Planet.

The idea of this topic started with a shock...no really, "I'm being SUPER SERIOUS".
As I got home from school today I was doing the usually and taking off the covers that were on my futon and as I lifted up the back of the futon I got a little static shock to my hand. It didn't hurt, but the strange thing about it is that as soon as I got shocked, my little ATM machine "magically" turned on.
Could have the shock my hand received been the culprit? Who knows...
Anyways, the point of this topic is to just discuss weird shit that has happened to you before, such as the example I just gave, which actually happened not 8 minutes ago.
So talk away.

I think as far as weapons go it pretty much depends where your opponent is, if he is using a vehicle and what weapons he carries.
If your opponent is far away but still reachable you should use the Sniper(obviously) or the RPG(obviously)...
What strategies do you guys think should be used when your opponent is using a Minigun?
Honestly, I should've just made the topic. You're just taking what I said and tore it up into your own little blob of blah.
But if you want to take out someone with a minigun...try driving a vehicle towards them and bail out a little bit before you hit them or right after the vehicle starts smoking bad or is on fire. Then if they're still alive after that just be ready to take them out with what ever fire power you're packing.

I think players should come up with their own strategies and shouldn't copy other players strategies
Since when do people copy other people's strategies? I mean, I'm sure people do, but that seemed pretty random.
I'm pretty sure this topic was meant to be here to discuss how people should play GTA Multiplayer such as what weapons they could use and how often they should use them. Basically this topic is here to see what people think is cheap and what isn't. This topic is based around what Mardy Bum and I discussed over MSN, which was what we thought was cheap and what wasn't.

I am curious on what strategies member defend and use while playing MP GTA.
I defend that one can use ANY strategy to get the kill, but if your strategy starts failing you must make a new one and use it until it starts failing...

I'm guessing you yanks already got to see it, apparently it doesn't release until february here. Which is bullshit.
I trekked nearly a mile and a half down a riverbank (from town centre to the cinema) today, only to realise it wasn't screening until Feb. What's worse, i got my shoes soaked. The GF refused to walk through the minor flooding at the edge of the river, so she got on my back and i carried her across. My brand new etnies... wet, and smelling of river water.
But yeah, endured some other shitty girl crappy film instead. And paid out of the ass for food and drinks.
If i'm not careful, this'll turn into a rant about the price of cinema food. So i'll end it here.

I'm personally going to have to say little Big Planet. If Home were an actual game, I would have to say that, but since it isn't...then Little Big Planet gets bumped up to #1 on my list.

LOL, that's funny. My mom told me he died too.
But yeah, I was never really a fan of his, but found out he played Skip in "Lords of Dogtown"...which doesn't even really look like him.
I've also seen previews for the new Batman movie and he played the Joker. To be honest, the new Joker looks a lot more like what the Joker should look like. Make-up all messed up and smeared with stained and torn clothing. He also looks like a crack addict as the Joker so that adds to the look as well.
