  1. This (not your topic, just the subject of it) is a complete load of crap.

R* gave fair warning that SA was intended for mature players & made a reasonable attempt to lock out Hot Coffee. They

can't be expected to be responsible if someone hacked the save files & discovered it. It's like saying Ford or Toyota is at

fault because someone got drunk & drove one of their cars over someone.

Just for the record, they can't buy back my copy of V1.

All you need is the receipt.

Me neither. That V1 copy is mine and I'm not gonna return it or ask for cash in return. Shit, if I wanted free cash, I could have returned the game to the store when I got it.

I sincerely hope karma bitchslaps the idiots who actually do try to do this.

Again...all you need is the receipt.

This is actually old news the GTA Settlement site has been up for months with Take 2 and Rockstar Games. I remember seeing this back in October!

    ...I know... ;)

  2. I could get up to $35 as I have the original receipt but I would never do that nor would I ever give up my 1st edition copy of SA for PS2.

I'm assuming your main reason for not taking the $35 is because you don't want to hurt Rockstar Games, but I'm pretty sure that you could go in there with only a receipt and get $35. That way you keep your first edition of the game and get $35. There are numerous excuses you could use as to why you don't have the game anymore.

"The disk broke back in 2005 and I just threw it out."

"My mommy snapped the disk in rage."

"I let my friend borrow it and he never gave it back."

Those would just be a few of the ideas people could use that could possibly work. I mean...if you have the receipt...

But then again, by not taking the money we're in fact helping Rockstar Games. How many people do you think are out there that own San Andreas and are going to do this??? I doubt Rockstar Games will lose too much money with this settlement.

  3. I remember seeing a post about the actual settlement some where, but I don't think it included the actual settlement site. If you don't know what I'm talking about, the "Hot Coffee" lawsuit against Rockstar Games has finally ended and unfortunately for Rockstar Games...they lost. Fortunately for the consumers (you...if you own the first edition of SA), you could get up to $35. Here's a chart showing how much you could get back from your purchase depending on your situation.

    AVAILABLE BENEFITS

If you have and submit:What you may get:

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas First EditionDisc Replacement Disc

Detailed Store Receipt Cashpayment up to $35.00

General Credit Card Statement or Check Cash payment up to $17.50

Disc/Purchase Details Cashpayment up to $10.00

No Disc/Purchase Details Cashpayment up to $5.00

Personally I feel that if I were to take the money back that I would just be one of Jack Thompson's little flying monkeys. I still have the receipt, so I could very well get the $35 and put it towards GTAIV, but since I'm a huge Rockstar fan, I don't want to do that. So what does everyone think about this.

NOTE: If this was included in the other topic, just delete this topic I guess. This might fit in with the San Andreas section...you be the judge(points to moderating team).

  4. Where to begin...

For the first link, you have one eyewitness who claims the aircraft was at least a mile long and half a mile wide. Earlier in the article it went on about how several witnesses claimed the aircraft to be flying exceptionally low to the ground. I'm pretty sure with an aircraft traveling that low in the atmosphere you would have more than one eyewitness saying it was a mile long.

Furthermore, as quoted directly from the article - "Meantime, Stephenville (population 17,000) is trying to have some fun with the international publicity since the reported sightings." - which only further gives me the impression that not all of these "witnesses" are giving direct and honest information. As many rumors and conspiracy theories usually go, a slight exaggeration of the truth can lead to unbelievably radical assumptions.

And lastly, this article has absolutely nothing to do with Area 51. Good job.

As for the article that actually is about the Roswell incident, it's a link from a commercialized science fiction television station. That alone completely destroys any basis of credibility that you may have been hoping for.

So you were saying you had more links then?

I wasn't just talking about Area 51, I was also talking about Roswell.

Just because the documentary was on the Sci-Fi Channel doesn't mean that it isn't credible. If MTV "Music Television" could have TV shows not relating to music at all then why can't the Sci-Fi channel have something that isn't science fiction???

Did you even read the note that General Ramey had in the one picture???

  5. Well when I went to get some links for you I stumbled on this. If you haven't heard about it, just recently there have been many eyewitnesses in Texas claiming they saw some UFOs and the rubbish the government has been throwing doesn't explain a majority of the events that occured.

    Here is some other stuff.

    Roswell Crash: Startling New Evidence

Here's an old topic of mine talking about that documentary. Read through it.

I'll give you more if you want.

  6. So we're supposed to believe there are top secret alien related conspiracies taking place within Area 51 merely because there's a lot of rumors about it?

I must say, you nearly have me convinced already. Your logic is impressive.

Actually there have been officials that used to work at Area 51 or were at the Roswell crash site in 1947 that confirmed that extra terrestrials have been to our planet, but people like to consider them rumors because they can't fathom the info or just don't want to believe because of many different reasons such as religion.

The supposed testimony of a few ex-employees isn't enough to convince me.

That also includes astronauts and military personnel that didn't want to die with those secrets, which resulted in them confirming what actually happened at Roswell.

So what will it take to convince you? Physical proof? Oh, ok. Then just take a look at all of the cases of alien implants found in supposed alien abductees. Implants which were made up of unknown metallic material.

Or is it just that you don't want to be conceived as gullible on the internet...???

  7. Any Muscle cars in the game er? i loved Burnout3, so, gimme info on cars and physics...

The crashes are much more realistic than they were before. I don't know if there are any muscle cars, but there most likely are.

  8. I looked in the marked spot in the map but there car thats in the garage is the comet.

That's not the garage he's talking about. It's the hidden house, which could be accessed by going down the one alley way.

Here's what the house looks like.

EDIT: The alley way it to the left of this picture.

Come on Spaz, you have TWO rows of medals. TWO rows! THAT's as much as TWO ONES! And THAT's terrible!

Lolz, I almost hate that I got that instantly.

And actually, I beat Chris the first year.

And lolz at people who still don't understand my style of humor :lolbounce:

Are you talking about me? Because I was the only one that commented with out an "LOL".

  11. Can I help it if I kick so much ass?

Damn you people, I've lost Hottest Member AGAIN. I won that shit first year. So really I'm the ORIGINAL Hottest Member of TGTAP, so all you other bitches can do whatever the hell you want.

Don't be bitchy about it. You probably won the first year because you were the only one that posted pictures.

  12. Sorry for the double post.

Another time I walked down a road and the first 3 cars I walked past the alarms randomly set off.

If I had to guess I'd say that the first one was a glitch, or one of those idiotic super sensitive deals and the other two were set off by the first one going off.

This happens to me a lot, but if I randomly think of a TV show or movie I haven't seen in a while (and it has to be a specific TV show, like "that episode of Friends were Ross cheats on Rachel" I'll see it within a few days after thinking about it.

What you mentioned just happened with me while I was watching MTV cribs. I was watching the end of the one episode and thought about this other episode and that one came on next...really weird.
