Did you click "Start New Game"? I mean, usually that's the only way you'd see that cutscene. If not, then I assume you chose a different save file, or the save file you got is probably been corrupted. Download another save game and see if that does the job. If not, post here again. Someone else will probably know.

To be exactly honest, I never saw this rumour before. But yeah, Tokyo does seem to be a very interesting place to set GTA up, but I believe they shouldn't rush. To me, that's not part Rockstar's style. It's like EA creating another NFS in like a year, if not, half a year (Although they don't create a new game in half a year). Rushing into it just makes things worse, in terms of gameplay especially, along with the storyline as well. I think with the upcoming games like Chinatown Wars and L.A. Noire, they should let those games come into account and see what people think, before they actually start thinking of creating GTA V. SR2 from what I've seen looks horrible, people said it was a horrible port for the PC, so Rockstar should especially work on making sure it works for the PC as well. Besides, I don't expect another GTA to be made this year, with the exception of CW.

Hey bitch, you weren't suppose to tell anyone! Lol, Sherman, it's not a problem. I myself had a teacher who couldn't use Photoshop, so yeah, I self taught myself it since he doesn't know how what a Layer is.
-
Still, here it means what I said as well.
-
Sherm, the font is jagged, but there's a way to remove it. If you used Photoshop, do this: 1. Click on the Font Layer. (Which assuringly, is the first or second layer) 2. Go to the toolbar on top and find where it shows something like; "a a" - Some icon thing. 3. Next to it is a drop down box, click on it. It will give you a range of "Sharp", Chrisp", "Strong" and "Smooth" words. 4. Choose any of those and see what happens to the font. Hopefully it will turn smooth. Hope this helps really. I would really want to create something, but I don't have time (Since I'm working on other stuff atm). But yeah, good work Sherman.

I play Tony Hawk's. I haven't tried Skate out myself, I saw it today on TV and looked awesome. I'll try it out someday when I get a PS3.

Yeah flipping at her really doesn't make any difference. I don't have a PS2 anymore, don't have a good PC game for my PC, and I don't have a PS3 yet, I probably will when I get through most of college. But that's like until April-May. I do think at some point it was your sister's fault, but then afterwards it was your fault, especially for flipping your mum. Either way, take your punishment or fight back, fight back won't lead you anywhere, and taking the punishment will get you somewhere. I've been punished many times for playing on my PS2 and PC, then of course, I get a punishment, either my PC gets a password, or my PS2 pads get taken away from me. I did at first find it really unfair, but then I realized that it was just so I could calm down. I also get told off by my parents sometimes, especially if it was my sister's fault, to be honest, if I do get blamed, I'll take it, fact is, someday my sister will in much bigger trouble than I would (The logic of that doesn't make sense, but works sometimes). Plus sometimes even if I do get told off, I can easily find something near me to prove that I'm innocent. Maybe you should improve in school. I mean, getting detention is FTL, but fact is, don't get in trouble, and you should get your PS3 in no time. Hell, think of a person who doesn't have a PS3, they are probably one of the people's who really want a PS3, but they're not getting it till after they finish college/school. You should be lucky to have a PS3, maybe you shouldn't cause a lot of trouble, and then you could possibly get to keep it longer than at least a year - Oh and by the way, that's me in their as well. So yeah, overall, do well in school and don't cause your mum so much problems, probably that's one of the MAJOR reasons why you're not going to get your PS3. Oh and L-Ric, I don't think that's gonna get Husky's PS3 back, lol. Silberio, "Flip Off" means just getting all crazy over something.

Probably by a few months, this may come on the news, and seriously sucks. I mean this is obviously going to make people download the song on their computer... So why do this for? They've only made themselves look worse, especially by making all these horrible changes and stupid rules. Seriosuly, YouTube shouldn't have changed, they were pretty decent back around 2006-2007. If it was recorded from TV, YouTube block it, they actually said that in the copyright section. Stupid fuckers.

I've only been on the internet since around 2002, but that wasn't being in communities like this, I just used it for video game and computer game cheats, probably by 2004-2005 I had a MSN account so I could chat with my friends, but that's really it for me, I never went on sites like this at all, I didn't even know what a forum was until my friend introduced me to it. Then eventually I joined sites like this and... bla, that's really it, of course I have now created websites for myself, and I've got a Facebook account which I visit daily, so really, I've done quite a bit to since I was young to get here. To get back on topic, I've haven't watched the Dark Knight yet (I'm going to get it for DVD very shortly as I like Batman films), but if you asked me the comic idea wasn't as funny as I think. Firstly, "my azn sense is tingling!" or whatever it may be, it does sound quite offensive, to me anyways, I don't know whether you used it purposely to make a racial slur up, offending those who are Asian, but it sounded retarded. Of course, I know, that's the point in these types of comics, to be random, but saying after azn's response; "Friggin' Asians, with their tiny hands and whatnot.", that just sounded really offensive, and yes I do take that as a offence. Oh and note, I'm Asian, and I don't have tiny hands or feet, so you seriously need some clarification from an Asian person who is 6-7 years older than you that what you said there was false, and retarded. I don't really care whether you know "The Dark Side of the Internet", but the fact is a 10 year old shouldn't even be visiting sites like 4Chan, or whatever you may use to get these types of things. I believe you need parental advisory before you go on the internet. Also for the comics, learn from the people who know how to do it, don't go off and create something seriously random, but doesn't make us laugh, this is what will happen eventually. So yeah, don't waste your time on the net, you have alot to do when you're 10 years old. A lot of things.

It's that big, on a DS? Well, I'm surprised by that. Can't wait to see what peoples reaction's/opinions/rants are like. I love the idea of ordering weapons online and receiving it at your safehouse. Hopefully in future GTA's they could possibly use that feature? Saves time from getting it from the dealer/shop.

I was talking about the right part, Alvas. The same applies for the centre too, but I was mainly talking about the right part of the sig.
-
Erm, there wasn't really anything like brushes involved. In the right part of my signature, I used the Eraser and use the default brushes, using types of sizes to create those holes. I also used a layer mask to do a very little fade in, but then I used some of the grunge effect as an Eraser, and it sort of did it's job by removing small parts of the signature, adding the holes in, then I used the default brush to make some of the holes. There are some brushes on the net that actually can create that type of effect, just forgot where it was. Anyways, hope this helps?

Hmm, I like, I think it looks good. Assuming you cut out the Ja Rule text with the magic wand, it wouldn't have been hard either to use the Magnetic Lasso tool to cut it out as well, it would make the cutout's edges a little smooth. If you do own CS3, use the refine edge tool, I use it when I've cut out a picture which had jagged edges, and hell' it worked. For the layer mask, go onto Layers > Layer Mask > Reveal All. I don't know what exactly you want to do with it, but I usually use it for the fade in effect in most of my graphics work. I use the gradient tool after I masked the layer for the fade in effect to work. I don't know what else you could do with the layer mask, I'm still haven't fully experimented with it, but soon I am to. But I like it azn. Add a 2px white border, and after that, add a 1px black border, you'll see a great difference with the signature you currently created. By the way, when you mean you can't save it as a .PNG, does a small window come up saying you can't? Could you print screen it please? I'd like to see why. Also whenever you do save it as a .PNG, don't interlace, I just place it as "None". Thanks.

Things are going pretty smooth recently. I'm hoping to see my friends this week, and hopefully will be able to chill out with them for a while, but damn, most of them are having exams at the moment, which is lame considering they're spending more time in staying in and revising, yet they aren't even learning it fully. I guess A-Levels are hard to do, but my friends seem to be doing well in it - well most of them. A few of my friends are doing the same as me, which is a BTEC, hopefully I'll get to see them soon, whenever the time is right. I see a few of my friends at college too, ones from my old school mainly, but they've got new friends, and some of them are pretty busy nowadays. But yeah, it's the start of 2009, things are already starting to heat up through my college, and my social status isn't as balanced as it was back in school. And yes, I do meet some assholes (Some were my friends at school), but once I got to know them, they didn't act like assholes, more like great friends, even if they did mess about, they were very supportive to me either way. So yeah, I'm at the moment having things smooth with my social status, but I presume it's going to change through the next few weeks, but I feel happy the way things are and will be towards the end of college this year, then things will be smooth for a very, very long time...

Played on my cousins PS3, we played COD: WaW online, amazing. It got really laggy for some reason, and made it really fucking hard to knife someone in their. I'm hoping to get a PS3 real soon with COD, so yeah, hopefully. Gonna play Crysis tomorrow, tired right now.
-
Wat. If you ask me, it seems lame, literally. I hate wearing glasses on, so I would fall back completely from whatever this is. But more of the less, I'll stick to a PS3. And I thought they aren't going to be making another console in a long time?

I don't think grunge is really old anymore, and plus, it depends on what type of thing your basing it on. Something "Dirty" is what it's mainly for (I always used grunge for GTA IV), but if it's for something which is slick and clean, it's recommended not to be used, unless you know what you're doing. Of course, I still use it now and again, but I don't know what else to use it for, either with Abstract, or something else. But yeah, I believe on the concept of his work, it still suits, and using it might get more people back to it, but after all, it depends on what he's using it for. Hopefully he'll (Alvas) make some more work on the grunge, cause some people do tend to go over the head with the grunge (Like myself back when I was using PS ). So yeah, keep it up I'd say, just cause it's out of fashion doesn't mean you stop completely using it. Keep using it, somehow, I believe it will become a very, very special effect to you.
-
Holy shit Alvas. That's good. And yeah, MP, he's not literally copying me, he's just trying out my style, see whether it will work for him or not. I must say though, it looks great, but remove the excess grunge towards the end of the image, then it will look really great. Nice work Alvas.

Nice, I am definitely going to stick with this topic too. Those shortcuts are also helpful, considering I don't use shortcuts alot, maybe now I can. Also to add on to the "Best Tutorial Sites": Good-Tutorials - Have PS TUTs on there and many others too, one place I visited when I was a PS noob. Tutorialized - Used this as well for PS tutorials, pretty good stuff on there. Zymic - Although they do web hosting, they have so much tutorials on Photoshop and everything else. Good stuff on there + For those web enthusiasts, this the perfect place the brush up on that aswell. PegaWeb - I found this just recently, got some stuff for those who are doing natural effects/filters etc. PhotoshopSupport - I visited this site a few times, seems decent, has tutorials for photoshop. I'll post more whenever I can.

Now that was awesome. I'm gonna try that out when I head off to my cousins place, should be awesome. I would lol so hard if Niko actually died from it, and stayed in that position.

A few friends do at my college, I believe they aren't interested in GTA, but since it's coming out, I assume once they enter a game shop, they'll see GTA: CW and say "Holy shit, GTA for DS?!! What will they do next?!".
-
Similar to Thomas's, except I don't have a girlfriend. I also had a shitload of coursework to hand in/get back, and it's been a little crap since I haven't seen any of my good friends in months, hopefully in the next few weeks, things should improve drastically for me.

Seems to look sexy if you ask me. I believe my College will upgrade to this, some of the staff were talking about this a few days ago. I'm not really gonna upgrade, I'm sticking with Vista for the time being, until I feel Vista isn't working for me. But yeah, looks good, and hopefully, once it's out, I guess I'll hear what people say first, then It'll be my choice then afterwards.

If you ask me, it's just a matter of getting use to. I've played on both 360 and PS3, and there's no difference for me, I've found the driving system much better than the previous GTA's. I haven't got the PC version of this game, but I think it's still the same in there.
