  1. It is more fun to use cheats rather than mods to raise/lower wanted level. I like looking at the cops walking around confused when I get a wanted level and quickly activate the "lower stars" cheat before I die.
  2. Complete at least 70% of all GTA III storyline missions. If you do so, you will unlock all 3 islands of Liberty City. Or, you can just use the flying cars cheat and fly over the roadblocks, or you can use the cars float on water cheat and drive the car accross the water onto Staunton island.
  3. Pretty cool commercial. The coke purchase and car hijack scenes were funny.
  4. I'm not sure if GTA should be converted onto the big screen. Although it is a good gaming series, all films created from video games all performed poorly in the eyes of critics (eg. Max Payne).
  5. I think Las Venturas is a better option. It has casinos, clubs, the Mafia, and it is a rich city.
  6. Your description is contradictory, lil' nine. In the first paragraph, it is GTA Advance's description, but the "Liberty City Gameplay" section is GTA III. What are you trying to talk about, Advance or GTA III?
  7. Fake. The pause menu is too similar to GTA IV's one. Also, the "city" is mostly countryside.
  8. Hey wrapsumdemdirty, I think you are talking about the Collector's Edition of Grand Theft Auto 1. The Collector's Edition of Grand Theft Auto contains Grand Theft Auto 1, Grand Theft Auto 2 and the London expansion packs, along with the soundtrack CD for Grand Theft Auto 1. You can buy it off online websites like eBay and Amazon.com, although I am not sure what actual stores you can buy it from. I hope this helps you.
  9. The system was pretty good. I liked it. Shame they didn't use it much.
  10. I see. Sorry for any inconvinience caused.
  11. I used to have Grand Theft Auto 1 and Grand Theft Auto 2, but I got rid of them, as I found them more boring and less interesting than the GTA III Era and GTA IV Era games so basically, I don't play or own these games anymore.

    GTA 5?

I see. Thanks for clearing that up Gerard.
  13. Hey guys, I was just wondering, does anybody still own and/or play Grand Theft Auto Advance?
  14. No offence to anybody, but I think that GTA Advance wasn't a good idea, and isn't worth it. San Andreas completely obliterated it in sales and it doesn't seem to be making any impact on the Gameboy Advance gamers, its not like theyve raved about it or anything. Also, believe it or not, not even Rockstar considers the game to be canon with the GTA III Era, as it doesn't feature on their website. It's like they are trying to forget they ever made it.
  15. I won't be getting GTA Advance. I don't have a Game Boy Advance, and I think it is pointless to buy a Game Boy just for the sake of playing one game. Also, I don't like playing top-down games, as they are not as good and as realistic as the 3D ones.
  16. GTA Advance has been made exclusively for Game Boy Advance, so I highly doubt that GTA Advance will be ported to PC and/or Game Boy Color, although it might be possible to play it on a Nintendo DS, as it can play Game Boy games.
  17. The Game Boy Advance is all but extinct. The Game Boy Micro, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable killed it off, so I highly doubt that outside online websites like Amazon.com and eBay, and outside of Op-Shops/second-hand shops, you can't purchase GTA Advance in shops anymore, as virtually nobody owns a Game Boy Advance anymore. Your best bet is to go to a second-hand shop and/or an op-shop or a garage sale. They are the only shops that you can obtain GTA Advance from these days.
  18. The Game Boy Advance is all but extinct. You shouldn't get the $50 on Amazon. GTA Advance can be purchased for as little as $12 on eBay, although quality cannot be guaranteed.
  19. I agree with you, Ohwell. GTA III kind of spoiled the whole top down perspective for me. Once GTA went fully 3D I couldn't go back to that view and enjoy it. I found that out when I played the GTA Classics shortly after finishing GTA Vice City. What I don't like about GTA Advance is that it has sucky graphics, and no voice actors and no animated cutscenes, nor does it have GTA III's much-lauded pedestrian dialog. The game also does not feature radio channels. Although there are many things about GTA Advance that I don't like, there are some elements of it that I actually like. GTA Advance helped bridge the gap between GTA Liberty City Stories and GTA III. It also tells you a lot about GTA III and GTA LCS, and it helps to clear up things, like why 8-Ball was in the truck with Claude.
  20. Although one thing is certain: GTA V will most likely have multiplayer, considering the fact that GTA IV's multiplayer was a huge success. GTA IV was just the start of things. With the experience and feedback they got from it I'm sure GTA V multiplayer will be a whole ton better than GTA IV was. I would also be gutted if GTA V had no multiplayer. Multiplayer is one of the best features of GTA, and it is neccessary in order to compete against the other shooter games like Saints Row, CoD and Battlefield.
  21. I agree with you Red_Squirrel_UK. I would also be gutted if GTA V had no multiplayer. Multiplayer is one of the best features of GTA, and it is neccessary in order to compete against the other shooter games like Saints Row, CoD and Battlefield. I also agree that GTA San Andreas is the greatest GTA game of all time, although I have a feeling that GTA V might take the title from GTA San Andreas. GTA V is 100% guaranteed to be amazing. GTA IV was just the start of things. With the experience and feedback they got from it I'm sure GTA V multiplayer will be a whole ton better than GTA IV was.
  22. I reckon that although GTA Chinatown Wars is not as good as its GTA IV Era brothers, it is still as good game to play.
