  2. Zino fooled me with this a few minutes after it was posted, bastard
  3. You know IVE been hear an awefully long time... Anyway, i respect Skyline Zino Spaz Chris Edit: forgot Slayer Its hard to get my respect, as its hard to respect me...
  4. Real original name, i have to say. Storyline sounds far too similar to all other GTAs, but hey, it will rock. Im now going to clean my pants.
  5. It probably is a bluff, but i sure hope it isn't.
  6. You may not think you have good spots, but trust me theres a lot more to your area then you may think. You need to develop what is called a "parkour vision". You need to look at an object and not think "hey theres a rail next to a wall" you need to think "wow, theres a brilliant monkey to cat". You need to be aware of what exactly you can do with your environment and you will see its not as bad as you think. This is quite a nice guide to show you the basics. You just need to look at your area more closely, keep your parkour vision active, you will find something good. Try to find someone else in your area that does it, they will know the best places, if not, then just go out with your friends, they will see good spots if you miss them.
  7. Downloaded this a few days ago, ill just watch it again. Well, its a good solid vid. Some of the stunts were old, but excecuted nicely. I thought the music and editing was suberb. Overall a great video, i liked it. Stunts: 7/10 Editing: 8/10 Music:9/10 Overall: 8/10
  8. Great video, much better than that last one. You've got some beautiful spots for PK. Loved it.
  9. Well we do have plans to film a bit tommorow and definately this weekend too. But the total edited vid may take anything from a couple of weeks to a month, i want to make a good job of it.
  10. How does this work? My opinion: Bad idea.
  11. Isn't it about time we game some information, maybe a website? I really think this game will have potential to be as good as San Andreas. I mean, its almost simple to directly copy the PSP game to the PS2, so they have had so much time to gently caress about with things. Aircraft are a cert. however im not sure about stats. But i believe it will be a good game despite the critisms.
  12. Ah right well your the particularly good one i mentioned.
  13. Well overall, i did like the vid, some of the moves were excellent and one of you guys in particular was very good. By the way, how old are you? One of you guys looked rather young.
  14. Totally ignoring my post above.
  15. Parkour is a philosophy, a way of life. And your right, you cant really judge it, its about finding your own way not taking what people believe is the coolest way.
  16. Left ages ago didnt he? Happy Birthday Smart.
  17. Sounds like a good idea, maybe a month? Because the news is really slow at the moment and we need to keep discussion open.
  18. Woah, nice vids, a couple of those vaults i had never seen before.
  19. Around a year and a half i think. Since Jump Britain, whenever that was. The roll should be learnt very quickly, you will find it very useful. Before the first one i did i had drank a litre of lucozade so i was rather hyperactive and wasn't really thinking straight. The roll isn't exactly a fixed technique to learn, it should come naturally from the momentum of your jump. If you dont have enough momentum, you will feel it, otherwise it shouldnt hurt at all or you will ignore it because of the adrenaline. After you start doing them then you should start working to perfect your technique, but the roll isnt exactly one of those things that must be flashy and perfect, as long as it serves its purpose well. Try watching some videos of rolls for examples, i find trying to learn it from text is very difficult.
  20. I was always thinking about making a topic about this, but my topics tend to get ignored and I doubt it would generate interest. But I saw a Parkour userbar in Slayer's sig so i guess at least one person will be interested. Source: WikipediaI got interested in Parkour or free running straight after the documentary "Jump Britain" was aired in the UK. I guess what i saw inspired me, ive always like climbing, assault corses and jumping things, but i was inspired to take this to the next level. I decided to become a "Traceur" (a practitioner of the sport). I tried small jumps and vaults at first but after some training and dedication, i can now do large jumps followed by rolls and a number of advanced vaults and other rather cool moves. Me and my friends like to train occasionally although Warrington is probably not the best area for it, we have plans to make a video which i will post when its completed and i will also post some shots of us. And incase your interested, around two weeks ago just after lunch in my school i decided to try a monkey vault over a rail on the top some stairs, ive done it before although i guess i lacked concentration. Just as i was in the peak of my vault, i clipped my feet and fell from head height flat on my front with my arms out, I busted both wrists and my right elbow rather badly three hours in hospital later, i think i learned my lesson. So if your interested in starting or you already are a practitioner im interested to hear from you. If you want good information and tutorials Urban Freeflow is probably the way to go.
  21. He's still doing it, its in Version 9 at the moment, Edison is a GTA legend. And when the next GTA is out you can bet he'll start work on it straight away.
  22. Its a good start, nice to see it back!
  23. Very cool indeed. Would have been pretty funny if you made a red one in a heart shape.
