  1. Do you mean don't save after using the "riot" cheat or will just using it cause problems?
  2. An alternate strategy is go around to the front door of the hotel (stay on the driveway, not in the street), get out & take them out from over the retaining wall. Once the attackers are dead, just cruise back to the mansion & it's pina coladas by the pool!
  3. Aside from the mission "Marco's Bistro", I don't think you can reach Liberty (on PS2). In the PC version, there are a couple mods that give you access. Possibly, you could play around w/ "Limits Adjuster" tools.
  4. On PS2, you can use the "Super Mario" glitch & watch the properties, most of them you can just buy without firing a shot before the map opens up. The gangs ignore you until you start shooting at them.
  5. I think I only shows up after you finish the main story missions.
  6. Cheat device is PSP. Look at the other threads in this forum, someone in the last couple weeks posted a vid on how to jack one on a mission. It means failing the mission & needing a PCJ to push in & out of your garage, but it can be had.
  7. No prob, happy "hunting". If you haven't already, take a look at the rules (top right corner of page) & check the layout. Welcome & enjoy.
  8. Yes, it shows up at the Airport (SE corner, end of runway) for side work. Get in, cancel the mission & enjoy the Hunter.
  9. well it was only dispatch, not real cops. No, these were cops patrolling SF. CJ was on Foot.
  10. You'll have to look around, but there is a SA savefile editor that can reset the "Cheats Used" bit to zero. No guarantee if it will help, but the tool is worth finding.
  11. Sometimes It will let you enter & tell you the car cannot be moded sometimes the door just doesn't open. Something in the code I imagine. Try a different car. Also, there are 3 different type of cars to mod, Low Riders at LoCo (from "Ceaser Vialpondo"), Street Racers at Wheel Arch Angles in SF & general cars at Transfenderd. Transfenders opens after "Nines & AKs", LoCo after "Ceaser Vialpondo" & WAA after you finish the car theft missions in SF.
  12. Watch your car magazines. Various Mustangs have run ads for sets of wheels & tires for around $900 - mounted, balanced & shipped in the US. I think I've seen 16"s as low as $700. Better yet, start here - http://www.wheelguyz.com/shop/ YO YO YO, I be sick rollin' my 28s!
  13. Tommy left a high standard for Niko to meet. I just wish Tommy learned how to swim & climb (I know, the VC game engine would let him). He still rules.
  14. M-A-V-E-R-I-C-K! Just remember Maccer is gonna chuck a minute after you pick them up.
  15. Of all the dumb things, watch yard sales. I've found a few deals that way. Your car is common enough, you might be in for a real surprise what you could buy for under $50. A junk yard might be a little steep on some things, but do you have any scrap yards (scrap yard will just crush the cars for the scrap value). They have to pay to get rid of tires so they'd be inclined to make a deal. Beats paying $2K for a set of wheels.
  16. TWO engines? So these things have all wheel drive? Never raced Karts, so I can't offer much on that. If you can move at all on the Kart, lean in on the turns & "scrunch" down in the straight aways (like leaning forward on a PCJ) unless it's a streamlined body that molds to the driver. The best thing I can think of is be patient & you'll take out some of the competition just on that when the get in a hurry & make mistakes. You want to be aggressive, but not to the point that you're blowing turns. If you have a chance to get a few laps before the race (I would think you will), hold back slightly. Just concentrate on "learning" the track. If your competitors are there, look & learn. Good luck.
  17. R* had high ambitions (& met them) w/ SA, more game play & accomplishments. The girlfriends were just part of that.
  18. And so it begins... You'll learn a lot taking care of your first, but if you live to be 100, the first one will probably always be your favorite.
  19. So, what's first (after you clean it properly).
  20. Unless you want to chop up your hood. If you're talking 3.8, the intake off a '00 Mustang should work nicely. Saw one recently w/ the top half of the manifold off, looked like one of the wild set-ups from the '50s or early '60s for 6 2-bbl carbs. For myself, I prefer the 3.0 in a Taurus. Surprisingly powerful & a LOT more room to work on them on the few occasions they need it. This is from putting a transaxle in a 3.8 Taurus.
  21. You just made my day, that's good. I want to build one big enough to throw a minivan (packed w/ dog shit & set on fire). Have a party ( pig in a pit & tap a keg), & invite R. Lee Ermy (host of Mail Call, the History Channel), the Teuttles (American Chopper) Henry Rollins & the crew from "Junkyard Wars".

    Mafia 2 ?

Once again, get Mafia. Great game & should be cheap by now.
  23. Female cops are an everyday thing & R* wants realism, so I would expect them.
  24. I tweaked the MP5 a while back, forgetting the FBI carried the same one. That didn't go so well... Still trying to figure out how you got SA weapons in VC w/out modding them. Just so it's said & out of the way, if you're using a downloaded copy of the game you NEED to get a legal copy. It's just a lot easier in the long run.
