Mamma Kitty (GF) has similar issues, compares it to being thrown from a horse. Get back on & don't let it own you. Also suggested a driving course. My suggestion is play Gran Turismo (in first person view) to try to desensitize yourself a little. GT4 has no damage modeling & no gore. If it gets to you too much you just turn it off.

I knew a guy that really ran out of the locker room naked yelling "AIR RAID!!!" It was the '70s & the movie Midway was still fairly new. He was the same one that nailed the VP I told you guys about in Nate_10's "Food Fight!" topic. He had his own mailbox at the principle's office. I do agree though, there is probably a high BS ratio here.

The closest I've seen were vehicles in SA that spawned half buried in the road. But when you consider everything it takes to make one of these games, that kind of glitch wouldn't surprise me. You weren't using a "Flying car" cheat by chance?

That's as good a guess as any, makes sense to me. Pool would be butt-kiss, just re-use the code from SA, only a couple thousand lines of code (actually small for a game this big). I know, you could run up a tab w/ him & play to cancel the debt! (Just don't get caught cheating, he's probably strapped!)

I am presuming you DO have a legitimate copy. Every time I've run into "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION", it was a glitch in a car I tried to install. Save games are a possibility, but usually script mods are the issue w/ them. Try downloading the patch & savegame from a different site if possible, they may be corrupted. I've ran into that more than a few times.

A suggestion, after you delete SA, defrag the drive & proceed.

Map mods are IPL mods. You can run multiples if they are NOT edits of the original SA IPLs. You can edit the original IPLs, cut & paste parts from other mods. Either way, remember - STEP 1 BACKUP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!!

Get a VC GXT editor, read the README & open the appropriate GXT (same launguage you selected when you set up the game) in the TEXT folder. Before you start, back up the original.

Look at the screenshots already released, extreme graphics intensive. That = huge files & a PC version will most likely have more detailed textures than the console version. Someone said the PS3 has 256 meg of RAM, I just did a quick search & the specs also list 256 meg of VRAM (presume video RAM). Judging from the PS3 specs, the PC system requirements might not be too far above SA. Or so we could hope.
