Actually, R1 (upper right trigger) is 4 wheel STEERING. Beat the stadium race in Ganton (by CJ's house) & one shows up there, use it to practice. You got this far, you can do it if you keep at it.

I think edit is older than most of the people on this forum, I kinda remember it from DOS 5. Used Q-edit myself, shareware.

If you're playing PS2, I think you're out of luck. The book says one is supposed to be by a swimming pool across from Lance's place in Washington Beach (south end), but it's a Magnum. On the good side, PS2 has the "Super Mario" glitch that will warp you to the Golf Course (past the barricades) & give you access to the full map including better weapons & a Police Heli. Standing at the front door of Escobar International AP, go east & look for a small construction site w/ an exposed big concrete pipe. Jump onto the right spot & presto! You're on the Golf Course. It usually takes a few tries. Fish fed may refer to times you drowned. Don't have the PSP version so I couldn't tell you on that one.

My bad, used to it from VC & SA. The rest of the strategy IS proven. I came up w/ it after reading the one in the official guide, go here for this, do this for that... AARGH!! This way, you have plenty of time & only one stop on the way.

I've let mine run a couple days at a time so far w/out problems, but it's set up in an air conditioned room & I make sure it has "breathing room". This might sound a little cheap, but try a desk fan blowing directly on the case.

Yes, in SA it's really bad. Luckily, in this case, it happened early in the game so starting over isn't a real big deal. Most of the cases I've seen discussed, it happens in Los Venturas. Flying Rhinos totally pwn Flying FBI Ranchers!

A good one is the "flying car" cheat MLL suggested in another topic. When you get your 100% complete game (just keep trying, I even got that on PS2 & my hands are fubar), use it for the Rhino. That's QUALITY entertainment!

I would LOVE to see this! Even being as linear as Mafia was, it was still one of the best games I ever played & one of the few that measures up to GTA.

At least yours sounds willing to let you drive, mine was a total tool. "YOU'RE GOING TO SAVE YOUR MONEY (what money? I was supposed to spend all my time w/ schoolwork & no job) AND YOU'RE GOING TO GET GOOD GRADES (do I have to say any more?) AND YOU'RE GOING TO COLLEGE!!! Yeah, finally tried that when I was around 30. Then the school got caught scamming the government, the IRS got involved & the school got seized & shut down. I ended up in a crappy factory job, got hurt & here I am! The moral of the story is this - Get some dependable wheels, show a little responsibility when you drive & get a part time job running pizza or something. The experience you gain is immeasurable. I used to get tips just for driving the 'Stang, think of what a Porsche will rake in. Maybe even enough to cover the insurance.

On the way up to the helipad, grab one of the FCR 900s sitting around the ramp. When you leave the helipad, just jump off (w/ the bike) & head for freeway, get ahead & take your shots.

Find the VC SAVE FILE EDITOR & VC CO-ORDS mod. You can use these to place vehicles in Vice City, just find the car it replaced & put it where you want. The best part is that you're only editing the save file & won't have to start over.

Your invisible wall is probably just a missing texture. I just pulled down your mod & the .ZIP file looks good, a clear readme & map. Nice work.

To answer your original question, yes, cheats fubar your save files. The mission w/ the forklift should be "Robbing Uncle Sam" & by then there should be several choices for missions that show up clearly on your map. The best solution is just to start a new game as you're only a few missions into it & avoid the cheats. Are you on PC or console?

Molitovs (I know it's wrong, but look at the spell check options) = Petrol bombs. Fire = Bad for Rhino.

I usually ignore the courier in the Patriot. I usually go after the on on the Bike. Get a heli & head him off, open up w/ the M4 or AK & collect the cash (& the bike if I'm in the mood). Get the guy on the bike & the other one never gets sent.

It's easy to beat, IF you do a couple things. 1 Get a map of the hidden packages so you have all your weapons at the Wichita Gardens save house. 100 packages also gives you a rocket launcher. 2 Complete all your firefighter missions (20 on each Island + reach level 12) to get the flame thrower & be fire proof. Also do your Ambulance missions so you have full health/ 3 Get the BF Injection from Misty's place after you kill Salvatore & put in the WG garage. 4 Get the your Bulletproof Patriot (Don't destroy it on "Cappichino to Go") & put it in the WG garage. When you take the mission, drive the BFI up to the mansion. The shooting starts & you run like hell, (don't worry about the Colombians) get in the BFI & drive off the cliff towards the save house. The BFI has a low center of gravity & is tough so it survives the drop to WG. Blast up the road to your garage & get the BP Patriot & re-stock your ammo, drive over to the dam & meet your "friends". Run down the ones by the gate & snipe the rest. When the heli shows up, take her out w/ the rocket launcher & take the BP Patriot back to the garage as soon as the timer is gone (or you loose the car when the game rolls the final cutscene). Get any vehicle & go back to the dam to finish the mission.
