SR & SR2 have plenty of sidework. SR2 has a good soundtrack (mayhem mission w/ Wagner's Ride of the Valkyrie, FTW!). GTA doesn't have the "Septic Avenger" & shock paddles are the funniest weapon I've seen in a game. Kill someone, then you bring 'em back & do it again. Character customization is unsurpassed. I like the humor of SR/SR2 & think it's good competition for GTA, there's room for both. BTW - Good title for this topic, perfectly sums up the comparison.

There are legitimate medical benefits. My grandmother fought MS for 20 years & sometimes the only way she got through it was from the relief from a joint. No, legalize it & subject it to regulation & taxes. Make money off it instead of wasting money fighting it & making criminals rich in the process. The only difference between weed & alcohol is alcohol tends to make people get a little violent & it's legal.

It's about 2 weeks out from the election & the worst thing anybody can come up w/ on Palin (still) is that she got an ex-in-law fired from the Alaska State Police. What people should be thinking is "Dude, you stungunned the 10-year-old nephew of the Governor & got caught trying to cheat workman's comp & ALL YOU GOT was fired. Pretty sure stungunning a minor in the home will land most people in jail, for a long time. Watch police video shows to see how scamming WC works out (hint, it usually doesn't). As for Obama, he can't shut up about the redistribution of wealth which will totally screw taxpayers & encourage layabouts to continue to layabout & not work. WHY THE HELL SHOULD GIVE UP MOST OF MY EARNINGS FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO WORK?!?! Sara Palin is the smartest thing McCain has done so far. If he values her insights, abilities & opinions enough to make her his VP then I think he's really looking out for the best interest of the country.

When do you plan to be the CEO of R*? This clears up a few questions I had about the syntax & when time allows I'll be able to use this for some of my own mods. Weapons & vehicles I have pretty much figured out but now I see how to make a dealer drop better weapons (already have them dropping about $12k). Keep at it, you obviously have some talent.

Got it the day it came out, special edition includes a few extras. I think the game's worth the new price. Ambulance work is easy $$$ & the shock paddles are funny as hell. Zap someone till they die, bring 'em back & keep doing it until the cops start showing up. DO YOUR SIDEWORK!!! Doing sidework earns good rewards like weapons & unlimited ammo. So far I have the Kobra Pistol, combat shotgun & SMG, all w/ unlimited ammo. Also got a flamethrower & shock paddles. On the subject of weapons, I noticed that if you have one & look at your weapons cache at your crib, it automatically gets added to your inventory (even if it says "NO WEAPONS AVAILABLE"). You'll probably have plenty of NR4 (cop hand gun) when you unlock your first crib, so look at your inventory & then go out into the world. As you come across cops & gangs fighting pick up any weapons they drop & head back to your crib. I've put together a pretty good arsenal this way. Has anyone found the fire truck yet?

Considering the recent Bailout deal & gas almost quadrupleing on Bush's watch I can't blame you for feeling that way. I think Palin is the best decision McCain has made so far. I'll get off the soap box now & let you guys have at it.

Well, why not, you're obviously endorsing a "community organizer" (he never did say exactly what that is) who's personal friend is a domestic terrorist involved in crimes Obama "didn't know about". Community organizer implies you know something about the people in the community, like your friend you know from the neighborhood. I'm not going to tie up your topic going into all the strikes Obama has against him but I think it's noteworthy that at less than 1 month from the elections the only "strike" against Palin is a controversial firing. Also noteworthy is that no charges were recommended & in an article (either Time or Newsweek) the same ex-brother-in-law actually endorsed Palin as VP. If you really like the guy, that's your opinion, but you really should listen to his acceptance speech from the DNC. Pay particular attention to his stuttering & confusion ("Breathalyzer" statement). This is just after a 3-week vacation on a privatre beach in Hawaii. I'm looking for an un-edited clip to post. Then there's Biden, one of the loudest voices opposed to our involvement in Iraq. But at the VP debate he called for a US occupation of Darfur, for the same reasons we went into Iraq. WTF?!?! I wasn't a particular fan of McCain but people really need to put some serious thought into their decision before picking Obama.

CLARIFICATION: Marijuana does NOT lead to harder drugs. It leads to carpentry, just look at all the stuff Spaz made bongs from! (JK) Seriously speaking from nearly 20 years delivering pizza I think alcohol is worse than pot. Delivering to someone who was stoned, the worst I had to deal w/ was some a little slow but glad to see me. Drunks on the other hand... the main reason I kept a katana & handgun stashed in the car. Having said that, I'll point out that we (USA) tried to ban alcohol & that was an epic fail. If pot were legal it could be regulated & sold under the same restrictions & regulations as alcohol & tobacco for probably around $20 a pack from a reliable source. Bad surprises like spiking would leave you w/ legal recourse. Farmers would have a profitable crop. The tax revenue would probably pay off a lot of the national dept. I think if someone is responsible enough to be trusted w/ a beer they can be trusted to act responsibly w/ a joint. For the record, I'm allergic to cigarette smoke & have no interest in blazing up myself.

Presume you're talking about killing Salvatore. Early in the game go to the roof of HEAD Radio (you can jump down from the EL tracks) & get the flame thrower. Just before you accept the mission, get a bus from the bus terminal in Portland & park it by the dock where you took the boat to Staunten Island. Surprisingly, it stays there. After you start the mission take a boat back to the bus & go to Salvatore's house, block the garage & wait w/ the flame thrower. Italian BBQ anybody?

From what I've seen so far, I'd guess the graphics will be comparable to SA. Original SR still used mapped engines on the cars instead of actual models, I think Volition trades high-end graphics for game play. The book is already out (Gamestop) & I scanned through the vehicles, weapons & sidework. There's plenty of cash to earn & most of the cars returned w/ some nice new ones. The situation I deal w/ on a day to day basis is the DIRECT result of liberal piss-poor management of this country, you apparently missed that above. Andrew (the person in question) was carried for over 11 months because his mother ended up passed between 4 different doctors who decided this was "just another welfare case". Her idiot case worker didn't do their job in that they didn't keep track how many doctors she was passed between & failed to act on her concerns when she realized something was wrong. The end result was that the kid was literally born dead & revived, causing massive brain damage. (Meanwhile, the same liberals want to bend over backwards to help out illegal aliens.) The US government is overrun by people like the Clintons & Obama, mainly in the department of education & Human Services. For the first time there's someone on a major ticket who actually understands dealing w/ a special needs kid. My "judgments" about Sara Palin are based on this & the fact that she's not known. Being know in the American political arena almost always means some kind of scandal or corruption. Meanwhile, one of the few things we do know about Obama is that he has several questionable affilliations (Rev. Wright, etc.) & that even though he's running on a ticket based on "taking care of everybody" his own brother lives in a 5'x9' shack lacking even an outhouse & has a yearly income of about $12. He wants to take of me & mine but he can't send his own brother a lousy $20, WTF!? The "evil" Republican McCain bought his wife's aunt a condo. CLARIFICATION - There is one thing we're on the same page about, healthcare (for citizens & legal residents). It is unacceptable that everyone should be subject to taxes & compulsory military service (yes, the draft is still there via the selective service) w/out a basic minimum standard of health care. The example listed above is just one of many cases that demonstrate what's wrong w/ the currant medicaid system, it creates dependency & helps just enough to propegate that dependency. Just for the record, I have multiple sources of news & think for myself. I will presume at this point the "Fox News" comment was not meant as an insult & only based on an assumption on your part.
