Has anyone ever gotten to Level 366 on Vigilante?
Urbanoutlaw replied to zmoonchild's topic in GTASA Gameplay & Help
I've hit level 146 ($1 million bounty) in the Hunter, but DAMN! You got game, nice going SA Hunter WAAAAYY better than VC Hunter. (both PC) -
I did all my fire fighter missions, you can't touch me!

I know this is a little dated, but I still see new posts for VCS from time to time (no surprise w/ the delay of GTA4). Here's a helpful tidbit for those who haven't heard of it yet. (PS2 only) Start at Stonewall J's in Little Havana, as you leave, look left at the empire site. Go west through the empty lot between them towards the Airport & look for Orange safety fence around a hole exposing a huge concrete pipe. This is where patience comes in, jump onto the middle of the pipe & when you land on the right spot you will warp to the golf course, on the OTHER side of the barrier. Hoof it to the police station in Washington & take the stairs to the roof & pick up a sweet sniper rifle & a Police Maverick. Sometimes it dumps you in front of the Little Havana PD, keep trying. When empire sites come open, you can buy a couple as they start coming up for sale. No war started & you can hunt for your red balloons in peace.

On PS2 - Once the map opens up, a dune buggy shows up on the beach. Get in to start. I think completion also makes the bullet proof BF injection (dune buggy) available for purchase. Bear asked awhile back about getting to the east half of the map early. There's the "Super Mario" glitch on PS2.

Don't know if XP is the bomb, but Chris82 sums it up perfectly. Next time you look at new games, look at the system requirements. Vista calls for higher hardware requirements than XP on many of the new games. I'm getting along okay w/ XP Pro on a machine that needs a rebuild, not sure Vista would be so forgiving.

So, how many times did you do "NRG 500 Challenge" to get that bike you used to jump on the roof of Cranberry Station? Anybody else catch what's wrong w/ that bike?

If Multimod v1.5 alters the script or models, then it'll have problems w/ SA V2 (Hot Coffee removed). Look for SA downgrader topic at top of the SA modding page, it should get this sorted. EDIT: Better yet - http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9134

How did you take him out? I parked a Coach on the dock where you left Portland, took the mission & took a boat back. The Coach was still there! Parked the Coach in front of Salvatore's garage & lit up his cars w/ the flamethrower found on the roof of head radio. Badda-bing, badda-boom, forgetaboutit!

Where can I locate the Andromeda?
Urbanoutlaw replied to Lim Wan Xiong's topic in GTASA Gameplay & Help
Or I could wade through 500,000 plus lines of code & see where the location is in the script. I'm Thinking "Stowaway" (the mission where you use the interior) is somewhere around line 300,000. Something to do the day after Christmas. -
Saber is as good a guess for the car as any. The Infernus has showed up in 3 variations since GTA3.

Damn, kids are spamming up this topic! That makes me....oh, right.

I thought it was "Grand Theft Aero" that gave you access to Shoreside Vale. It has been awhile.

Edit your first post, the music is good & requires no apology. Too bad you didn't stick the landing w/ the Zebra, that was good.

HO, HO, HO! Three hookers in a row! Now that's happy holidays. Later.

Where can I locate the Andromeda?
Urbanoutlaw replied to Lim Wan Xiong's topic in GTASA Gameplay & Help
Co-ords of the Andromeda interior, I have vehicle placement sorted. -
All the gangs that can be, the trailer court & docks always come back. In the Islands, you get rid of most of the little gangs by the time you get to "Tranqualandia". Glitch Island seems to be permanent. If you haven't followed this topic, look back a few pages for a few pointers w/ henchmen. Happy Holidays & enjoy.

I lost count, but did enough to buy my way into at least rep 5 before I got out of Little Havana. I was aiming for $1 billion, but had other games I wanted to get to.
-
Good point, some idiot grandmother from New Jersey will probably want to drag you into court over it because she was too busy watching Oprah to pay attention to what her grandkids were doing w/ the new laptop she bought them. Anyway, thanks for taking a minute, I think I got it sorted. Just have to wait for other end to wake up & confirm he got it. You can close this if you want or leave it open for others. Merry Christmas.

That was cold.

Didn't know Photobucket could do large RARs, I already use them for individual pics. Got it uploading on RapidShare right now. I'm still pretty new at some of this, but depending on how serious I get making mods an account might not be a bad idea. Maybe a directory of file hosts could be made & pinned, what do you think?

Nice score, gimme your address & I'll mail you a Family Guy sticker to customize that bad animal.

QUOTE: TEC 9 -"....maybe we can finally climb up and over cars REALISTICALLY." LlamaLlama's car surfing could go to a whole new level.

Where can I locate the Andromeda?
Urbanoutlaw replied to Lim Wan Xiong's topic in GTASA Gameplay & Help
I've been working on one, yes. Nowhere near ready for release & my comp needs a rebuild, so I've just been testing what I have. I could probably add an ENEX (entrance/exit) at the airports to get into the Andromeda interior (separate model from the plane). Now that I think of it, an IPL edit might do that. Does anybody know the co-ords? -
A little something for Christmas, thanks. Agree w/ TM on the tire, probably a minor graphics glitch. No surprise when you think about how big this will be graphically speaking. I don't recognize the car, is it new one or just an update of an old GTA car? It looks like a cross between a first gen Camaro & a '76 Toyota Celica.
