Great. So that means the UMD has a capacity of...?(No one answered that.) Now you made Grampa use Google, happy now? Official specs from Playstation site - http://playstation.about.com/od/psp/a/PSPSpecs.htm According to this site, the UMD will hold 1.8 gig, less than half the 4.4 gig you accounted for in SA. On one hand the "Stories" games have launched on PSP, but they're followed by PS2 versions (definitely no problem fitting it there). Add to that, R* has a long & profitable history w/ the PS2, so I could see them trying to get in 1 more title before it gives way to the PS3. Most of the work is already done, just write a new storyline & script it & have instant low-buck title.

In itself, I'd consider that good news. The game should be released before episodic content (at least you would think so) so it means R* plans to have it out by the end of October. Thanks for the update.

I think the "Clean money/Dirty money" was one of the things Sierra/VU got right in Scarface. For those not familiar, in Scarface you had the money you carried on your person (from missions & deals) & the money you deposited when you saved your game at the bank (Scarface's save points). If you got killed or caught by a cop (Scarface doesn't have an arrest option, piss 'em off & the cops just kill you). you lost any money you have on you. Once money made it to the bank it was safe, but Tony was a coke dealing criminal so the bank charged you interest to "laundure" it. As your reputation increased, so did the rates. I think R* could do a good variation on this one, so why not?

Thanks for the Youtube link. Other than the flashing text, it looks okay. Maybe a slight drag but you can probably adjust your video settings (in OPTIONS) to fix that. Looks like you have adequate memory to run the game. I remember seeing another topic like this one 4-5 months ago & seem to recall it being a driver issue w/ Vista (I think). Does anyone remember that one? You could try updating your video drivers. That sticks out from the previous topic. Anyway, good luck. welcome & enjoy.

Yeah, until I touched the bumper of an Esperanto & the ped went psycho. The Mower rolled 17 times before it caught on fire. I barely escaped, but the Mower took out the Esperanto when it blew. My poor little red mower, a fighter to the end.

Could the ISO be screwed up? Probably. Buy a legal copy. Don't get pissy when someone points out you you blatantly break the rules. ISO = warez, period.

Personal experience, don't take someone's word for it just because their famous. As an American I have tired of tired getting bad mouthed by people who never met me. It wasn't that long ago that all white South Africans were racists. (this is not a personal attack, do not take it as such). The Lotus is a nice car, but hardly a fair comparison. The lotus is a lightweight mid-engine car based on racing design, a completely different car. A better comparison would be a Mustang would be a Holden Manaro (Pontiac GTO in the US). The Lotus should have been compared to something like a Toyota MR2. It's apples & oranges. If Clarkson is such an expert he should have thought of that instead making a piece of journalistic fluff. Nothing personal, the guy just pisses me off, I'd be surprised if he could change his own spark plugs. I doubt it would do so well against the Ford GT (granted, the GT is 3 times as expensive as the Lotus). Even w/ the weight advantage of the Lotus (at just under 200 HP), the the GT V8 (550 HP) would easily make short work of it. For gas mileage, the Lotus would win & yes I would drive one. But if I could afford cars like that (or even the insurance) I wouldn't car about gas mileage. OFF TOPIC (but related) I just started a fresh game of SA & was fed up e/ the "strategy guide" & it's lousy pics of the Los Santos spray tags. Short version is that I have pics of ALL 100 tags & a listing of a much more efficient order to get them. The folder is 134 meg (not zipped). Pics either have a brief remark or show prominent landmarks. They are meant to be used w/ the map in the book but I think they will work w/out it. They all show XZY co-ords from co-ord mod. Would you be interested in it for the guide? According to a tag on the corner of the building east of the chilidog vendor, Verona Beach is Rollin Heights Ballas. Here's my guide pic of the tag -

If the game is exactly as you installed it from the original disk, it's not modded. If you changed cars or edited any files, it's modded. If you have installed a conversion( like Ultimate Vice City or Long Dark Night), that is also a mod. Just a heads-up - If you're running an ISO or crack version, get a legal copy (one BOUGHT from a store w/ a factory made PLAY & INSTALL disc. Disc copied from another is not legal & will get the IMMEDIATE attention of staff) & reinstall.

If you're still considering, best sarcasm. I would nominate Gerard for his post in the topic "Church of England wants Resistance:Fall of Man banned" (Not sure of exact name of topic, but close). His post there about it only being a game just sticks out as one of the best examples I've seen.

I presume you ruled out a stuck key or button. Does it do that in any other games? It almost sounds like a driver issue. If you just installed, un-install & defrag your hard drive (trust me on that) then re-install. If you still have problems after that, run AVG (free & legal from AVG website) & get the latest drivers. If you have a spare keyboard & mouse, try them (to eliminate them as the problem). That's all I can think of but your topic is fairly new so maybe someone will recognize your problem. Good luck.

I'm guessing it was a glitch that created 2 identical topics. Have you modded VC (cars, DATA edits, script edits, etc)? It sounds like that may be your problem. You'll have to install an un-moded game for it to work. Just realized I just told you that in your other topic. For future reference, add further RELATED questions to your existing topic.
